Who are two people on a mostra that should have gotten together but never did?

In season 1 of Gilmore Girls I wanted Rory/Tristan SO BADLY. They did baciare once but I think they should have at least gone on one data o explored their feelings for each other. But then Jess came along and was amazing :D
