Edward's POV

*30 minuti later*
“So what does this mean, Alice?” I asked.
“I don’t know. Let’s just go back downstairs and see if the Lupi are here. Maybe that’s why I can’t see the party. If anything new happens, then I’ll let te know. I promise,” she detto heading out the door.
    The whole family was gathered in Carlisle’s study, talking about the sudden disappearance of the party.
“Okay,” I said. I headed down the stairs. The first thing I did was look for Bella. I got down to where I left her. She wasn’t there. I walked to the cucina to see if she was there. She wasn’t in there either. I guessed she went to my bedroom, searching for me.
I went up the stairs calling for her. I reached the secondo story and saw Carlisle.
“Edward, what are te doing?” he asked.
“Looking for Bella. Has she been up here?”
“No. Was she downstairs?” he asked.
“No.” I started getting worried now.
“Calm down. She’s probably just hiding in your room. te know how she hates parties,” he detto reassuring me.
“Yeah, you’re probably right,” I said.
    I ran to my bedroom and flung the door open. She wasn’t in there either. I went to Alice and Jasper’s room searching for her. Then I ran to Carlisle and Esme’s room. She wasn’t there either. I only started praying that she was in Rosalie and Emmett’s room.
Before I opened the door, I asked, “Bella, are te in there?”
No answer.
    I flung the door open. She wasn’t in there either. Now I started panicking. I ran back downstairs and went to the DJ table. I grabbed the microphone from Emmett.
“Hey, what are te doing?” he asked.
I ignored him and said, “Excuse me everyone. Have te seen Bella anywhere?”
    I saw Jacob and his Friends walking towards me. He reached me and said, “What? Have te Lost your girlfriend already?” he detto laughing.
“Shut up, Jacob. I can’t find her anywhere,” I said.
“I just saw her walk outside with a guy,” detto a voice. I turned to it immediately. It was Jessica Stanley.
“Jessica, come here please. The rest of te can continue,” I detto handing the microphone back to Emmett.
    While Emmett started up another song, I met Jessica in the middle of the floor. Of course, Jacob had to follow.
“What did this guy look like?” I asked.
“He was about your height. He had brown hair, topaz eyes. He had Bella’s skin color. He talked to me before te went upstairs with Alice. He was looking for Bella. I pointed her out to him and he just walked off,” she said. Then I saw the mental picture of him in her head. I didn’t recognize him at first. “Why? Is there something wrong, Edward?”
“No. Everything is okay. te can go back to the party now,” I said.
    She walked off and I started towards the kitchen, pulling Alice and Emmett with me. I froze right before I got to the kitchen. It was right where I left Bella. I picked up a scent that I haven’t smelled in a long time. Lorenzo’s scent.
Lorenzo had been an old friend of mine. He was half vampire, half witch. He use to Amore this girl, but one giorno she went off and killed herself because I told her what he was. He had always blamed me and detto I had it coming one day. We were no longer friends.
    His scent was mixed in with Bella’s. I started to fear the worst. I knew now what must have happened. Jacob, Emmett, and Alice must of noticed this scent too.
“Edward, is that your old friend’s, Lorenzo’s scent?” Emmett asked.
“Yes, Emmett. It is.”
    I ran out the door. Jacob and Alice followed me. Emmett went to the cucina to get the others.
“Hey, bloodsucker. What’s going on?” Jacob asked.
    I followed the trail to the driveway and stopped.
“Bella has been kidnapped,” was all I said.
