Edward was playing my lullaby on the piano, when he suddenly froze, and told me, calmly, that Alice was planning a shopping trip. Immediately. Including me. Whether I liked it o not.

Rosalie heard this, and she was obviously on Alice's side, because in the split-second I had to think, she yelled, "Get her!"

And I ran. I leaped over the river, and realised Alice was tailing me, too.

I was breezng through the forest, when it hit me. Literally.

Without my knowledge, Rosalie had made a loop, and I had been so preoccupied with my main threat, namely, Alice, that I barely had time to register this fact.

Rosalie twisted my around, and forced me still.

"Got her!" Rosalie called triumphantly.

"Yay!" Alice squealed. I groaned.
"Bella, we're doing this for your own good," Rosalie sternly said.

It was horrible.

Alice forced me into her porsche, a newer model, but still canary yellow.

Rosalie sat in the back with me, holding my hands behind my back. She'd hissed at Edward ferociously when he'd tried to free me, threatening to crush his Vanquish if he made one più move. I knew he liked his car, so I told him, bravely, that I'd be fine, but if I didn't come back in three hours, I'd like him to come looking for me.

"We're-going-to-have-so-much-fun-Bella-and-It's-been-such-a-long-time-since-you-came-shopping-with-us-and-I'm-so-excited-maybe-we'll-even-get-you-to-buy-something-of-your-own-free-will!" Alice trilled.

I snorted; like that would ever happen.

As we got out of the porsche, Rosalie told me that if I tried to run away again, she'd drag me back and then make Emmett rugby tackle me.

I winced; not high on my agenda.

I sighed as Alice came into the changing room, tossing me an armful of clothes, with the strict order to try them all on.

Rosalie, picking up on my mutinous thoughts, said, "NO, Bella."

This was going to be a long day.
