3. Secret
I woke up and reached for Dylan, but he wasn't there. I shot up into a upright position and looked around the room. Then I heard the sound of metal clanging against metal. Then I began to smell the bacon. He was cooking breakfast. I smiled and got out of bed. I felt something slide off my shoulder.
"Aw crap." I detto while laughing a little to myself. Dylan snapped the strap of my night dress. 'Guess I'll sew it later.' I detto to myself. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I got out and put my hair into a messy bun. I walked into our bedroom and changed into a pair of Dylan's sweatpants and my preferito graphics tee. It had a hilarious yet meaningful saying on it. 'Keep the battles on the dance floor.' The t's in the word battle looked like torpedoes. I walked downstairs. Dylan was slaving over the stove. making eggs, sausage and bacon. I snuck up on him.
"Smells good babe." I detto quietly into his ear. He jumped and pointed the spatola at me like he was using it as a weapon. I laughed. and took it from him.
"You scared the crap out of me." He chuckled as he sighed in relief. I laughed and handed him back the spatula. He put it onto the counter and pulled me into his arms. I took a breath and inhaled his scent.
"You smell like syrup." I detto softly.
"You smell like conditioner." he joked. I chuckled.
"Well I think te two smell like a newly engaged couple." Bella screamed as she ran into the room. Dylan threw me behind him. I laughed when I saw it was Bella. I think Dylan had a mini cuore attack, from the amount of times he was scared.
"Shit! te scared the ba-jebers of us Bells. Damn. Hungry?" I detto while laughing. Bella chuckled. Edward smiled and shook his head, Bella shook her head too.
"Jeez, We're not going to poison te guys, te never eat with us." Dylan said. I( chuckled. Bella smiled.
"We'll give te an excellent reason why." Bella detto as she smiled.
Edward sighed.
"Hey, uh Bella..." I said.
"Yeah?"
"Do te o Nessie happen to have a needle and thread?" I asked as I felt my face get hot. Edward started laughing. I stared at him. No one had detto anything funny.
"Why?" Bella asked maliciously.
"Dylan sort of broke the strap on my night dress." I detto lowly.
"I.... ha-ha... oh my... god... Alice might... blah ha ha. But I think we have some party planning to do today." Bella stuttered between laughs. I rolled my eyes as I smiled. I'd totally forgotten that Nessie's birthday was in 2 days.
"Oh, what should I get Nessie?" I asked.
"Nothing, just get her a card... o Ooo, better yet, make her a card!" Bella detto happily. "She doesn't expect much."
"Where is the nearest craft store?" I said. We'd only been in Boxford for a couple of days. We hadn't had time to really stock the house of anything except food.
"Well there are a few things I need to get for the party, so I'll take te with me, and Dylan and Edward will hang out for the day." Bella smiled.
"Okay." I said.
"We'll leave te two alone, and be back in about a half hour." Edward said. I smiled and waved them off as they walked back to their house. I started eating Dylan's delicious breakfast. He watched me eat as he picked around his plate of food. He was obviously waiting for me to tell him how delicious the Cibo was. I was truly amazing, but I decided to make him anxious. Without saying anything I picked my plate up and put it in the sink and ran up the stairs. I changed into a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, and left my graphic tee on. I pulled out an old black button down cardigan and pulled out my preferito aqua blue Converse and put them on. Dylan came out of the bathroom, almost giving me a cuore attack. He must have used the door in the hallway to get in. He had taken a doccia and was in nothing but a towel. All of his muscles were visible. His abs had no imperfections. He was perfect. His perfectly chiseled body glittered from the excess drops of water that he hadn't dried off yet. I stared at him. I couldn't believe he was mine. I took a much needed breath. I hadn't realized that I was so busy examining every inch of him, that I forgot to breathe. He chuckled. I smelled the Axe body wash almost instantly. I melted inside. Dylan caught my intense glance. He smiled.
"What?" He said. I jumped and stopped giorno dreaming, about what I wanted to do to him, right then and there. I wanted to call an instant replay of last night. I blinked.
"What? Oh, nothing. te take my breath away." I detto compulsively. Dylan chuckled and pulled me into his arms. He kissed me softly.
"Do I look sexy?" Dylan spoke what was on my mind.
"Hot, damn, sexy is an understatement." I admitted, in a soft voice. Dylan chuckled.
"Oh really?" Dylan detto as he pulled me off my feet and bringing me to the bed. He laid my on my back as he kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck but then I heard a car beeping. Dylan and I sighed and chuckled in unison. He pulled himself off of me and took my hand to help me up. I hugged him and kissed him and trotted down the stairs and out the front door. Bella was waiting in a gorgeous Ferrari F430. It was my dream car. I gasped as I almost, floated, to the beautiful car. Bella chuckled when I got into it, and soon followed. I stroked the leather on the dash board.
"I guess te like my it." Bella laughed.
"If I wasn't engaged to Dylan, I'd elope with your car." I whispered. She smiled and laughed silently.
"You scare me, how ironic.” Bella chuckled.
Why is that ironic?"
"Uh... never mind, let’s just go. Off to Never Land!..." Bella laughed.
“What happened to Lexi?” I asked. Bella smirked.
“I have two cars, one that holds a lot of people, Lexi, and one that only holds me and my chosen passenger, Ferrari.”
“No name?”
“No, couldn’t think of one, that, te know, really fit.” She explained. I nodded. What do te name the most amazing car in the world?
I smiled as we took off into the grey nube, nuvola that stood in front of us. It was raining and foggy, joy.
We drove to a Michaels and got paper and craft supplies to make Nessie cards. We also got things to decorate a cake for Nessie. I also bought a needle and thread. Bella laughed about it all the way back to the car.
I hadn't realized that Bella was wearing a necklace. It was small and quant; a linked chain with 4 charms on it. A lion, a lamb, a wolf, and a crystal cuore that almost blent in with her skin. The 3 most random animals, but they all were so cohesive. They were all handmade of some kind of stone. I stared at the collana as she drove.
"Wanna see it better?" She asked while catching my gaze. I looked up.
"Huh? Oh, yeah sure." I said. Bella lifted her neck. I took the collana between my fingers and examined each charm. I went to grab another charm and I accidently brushed her skin. It felt smooth, as usual, but also, cold, ice cube cold, and it was harder than last time I felt it. I dropped the charms and pulled my hand back.
"How in the tonaca, frock are te so cold Bells?" I asked. Bella sighed and didn't answer. Instead she suddenly pulled the car off the road and onto a concealed dirt path. We drove deep into the forest. She was frightening me.
"Where are we Bells?" I asked softly. I looked out the window. albero after albero passed. I couldn't see the road anymore and that worried me.
"Don't worry about it, I need to tell te something." She detto emotionlessly.
"Do te have to bring me to the black woods to tell me? What is it?" I asked in a demanding manner. I was quite scared.
"Yes. Please don't be scared. Alice detto te and Dylan will take this well. I'm sure te want to know why I'm so hard and cold, and why I never eat. So just relax, you'll know in a few minutes." Bella detto softly in a motherly manner.
"Bella! Just tell me!" I begged. She sighed again and stopped the car in the middle of a part of forest with no trees. She got out of the car without another word. She stood on the dirt, debating something with herself. I got out of the car and ran to her. I grabbed her cold, hard arm. She looked at me and blinked like I had broken her concentration.
"Bella... please just tell me." I nearly cried. Bella took my shoulders.
"I need te to know. Dad knew the most of it before he died." she detto quietly.
"Bella! Spit it out! You're killing me here!" I screamed. I almost fainted.
"The Cullen’s and I, we're a little, uh... special? No that’s not right. We're... different."
"Obviously, but so what? There's nothing wrong with being different."
"No, G. We're not even the same species as te and Dylan! We're... eh... vampires."
"Sure, my mom is half werewolf. I go wacky during a full moon."
"No really! And that whole full moon crap is totally bogus! Jacob can turn into a lupo at anytime, anywhere he wants. God! I hate folk tales. They make us seem like ugly, vial and all...fangy. We don't sleep, and we don't burn in sun and we don't have to drain a person to change then. It's all nonsense!!" Bella rambled. I stared at her.
"You're serious, aren't you?" I detto softly. What the fuck. How was this possible. She was my sister. No a vampire. Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. weren't supposed to exist, neither were werewolves. This couldn't be right. I made a fist and let my nail dig into my fleshy palm. 'Ow! Well it's obvious that I'm not dreaming.' I thought to myself.
"Yes, I am very serious! I needed te to know. I couldn't exist with myself knowing that I have been lying to te since we met."
"Wow, this is... insane! Impossible! Wow.... uh." I stuttered. Before I could say more, Bella jumped into the air. A good 50, and landed on a tall albero branch. She jumped down a few branches to talk to me.
"Do te believe me?" She asked.
"Yes... but this is insane... how is this possible?" I gawked. She chuckled but then got serious.
"Are te afraid of me?"
"N... no... Bells, I would never be afraid of you, you're my big sister." I said. She smiled.
"Good. Wanna come up?"
"Mmm Hm." I nodded. She jumped down and wrapped her arm around my waist. She jumped again and this time, we landed on a higher branch.
"Whoa!" I gasped. Bella chuckled.
"Do te really think I'll let te fall?"
"Uh, no." I giggled. "How do people not know about this?"
"We're careful, and we try to blend, which isn't really hard, especially when te have special abilities to help that out." Bella smiled.
"Special abilities?" I asked.
"Oh boy." Bella chuckled.
"Yes. Some of us have special powers. Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme don't have powers, but the rest of us do. I can shield people's minds from unwanted invaders, o anything that messes with it. Jasper can control emotions. Like he can change them o create them. Alice can see the future after someone makes a decision that alters o changes the future. She can't see licantropi o half breeds like Nessie though. Edward can read minds, but not mine. Nessie can mostra te her thoughts, o memories when she touches you. Yeah." Bella said. My jaw was practically on the floor.
"First off, what's a half breed? Second, Edward knows what I've been thinking this entire time? What? Oh my god!" I yelled.
"A half breed is exactly what it sounds like. A half vampire, half human person, like Nessie, who is, yes, me and Edward's daughter. And yes."
"Oh my god! I have a niece? What?! How long have te and Edward been like this? And hold freggin' old is Nessie? te can't be older than 24! No way!"
"Ha, okay. I've been like this since September 10th, 2006. So 5 years. And Nessie is 5 technically, but she's physically 15. She ages really fast. I am 18, physically, but yes, I am 24. Might as well tell te everything. Edward and Alice are 17, Rosalie is 18. Emmett and Jasper are 20. Carlisle is 23, and Esme is 26."
"Wait, so isn't that Nessie's birthday?.." I asked. Bella nodded.
"You see, being I was human when I was pregnant for Nessie, she was freakishly stronger than me and she nearly killed me when she was born, but Edward changed me before I did."
"So, where did te get the golden eyes from? I mean, Nessie has Charlie's eyes, but do te have your moms?"
"Oh, our eyes change color when we change. Bright red is when we first change, and then, being we drink animal blood, and not human blood, our eyes turn a golden honey color. But Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. who drink human blood, eyes turn a dark, dull crimson. I originally had Charlie's brown eyes."
"Oh...So Edward drained you?"
"No... a human doesn't need to be completely drained to change. We have venom that changes you. It basically freezes te in time, after it makes te hard, cold and marble smooth. It also makes te impossibly beautiful and pale..."
"Oh, wow. So stories about like garlic warding te guys off, and sleeping in coffins, and burning in the sunlight, are fake?"
''Yeah. We don't sleep at all and we don't burn up in sunlight, but we can't go in sunlight."
"Why?"
"Take my hand." Bella detto as she held out her hand. I took it and she swung me over her shoulder. She jumped into a patch of sunlight. I gawked at her. Every inch of her glowed like diamonds. She looked like a goddess.
"Oh, my god, well, that was unexpected. It's beautiful." I stuttered. Bella chuckled. She looked away toward the car and narrowed her eyes.
"What?" I asked, while looking in the same direction as she was. I couldn't see anything.
"About time!" Bella said. She smiled.
"For what?" I asked. She chuckled and held out her arm and pointed. I looked and saw the shiny silver Volvo. We walked toward the car and waited for it to stop. I could see Dylan's face through the window. He was excited to see me. When the car stopped, Dylan jumped out and ran to me.
"Baby!" Dylan exclaimed as he pulled me into his arms. I smiled.
"Did he tell you?" I asked while I motioned my chin toward Edward. Dylan nodded.
"Our thoughts are never safe!" He joked. I smiled again.
"They are with me." Bella chuckled as Edward walked to her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Yeah..." Edward sighed.
"Edward, it's not fair to read their innocent thoughts." Bella said.
"Oh, believe me, they are far from innocent." He laughed.
"Wait!" I yelled, remembering Renesmee's birthday coming up. "I guess a sleep-over isn't the greatest of ideas... is it?"
"Oh, I think it's a great idea. While te and my little zucca sleep, Alice, Rose, Esme and I will prank te two like there's no tomorrow. I Amore the idea!" Bella joked maliciously.
"Okay, that's it babe, we need to stock up on the Red Bulls and Coffee'." I laughed.
"I'll make te a deal Gianna. If te can stay up all night, Edward and I will pay for your honey moon. But if te fall asleep, te are completely subject to all of our jokes. Deal?" Bella said.
"I don't want to make te pay for an entire honey moon, but deal." I giggled.
"Oh, we'll see. Sleep tight Ms. Swan." Bella smirked.
"Poor Ness and Jake! What do te guys do to them while they sleep?!" Dylan asked. I chuckled.
"We mostly hunt at night, but once in a while, we'll mess around with Jacob. Like last anno on his birthday, we hung dog Bones from his ceiling. It made him so angry, but he eventually laughed at it. Ah, good times." Edward reminisced. Bella elbowed him.
"That wasn't nice, but yeah, it was hilarious." Bella agreed as she smiled.
"Alright, the humans are hungry, better go. I'll see te at home." Edward detto as he kissed Bella on the cheek. I looked at Dylan.
"I got hungry when te detto Red Bull." He crookedly smiled. I shook my head and laughed. 'Figures.' I thought to myself.
I got into Bella's Ferrari and Dylan got into Edward's Volvo. We raced home, and me and Bella smoked Edward and Dylan. Obviously.
"Nessie will catch te up on her life when te get in. Alice and Rose made a baby book for her, that looks like it spans for the first 2 years of her life, but it was actually only the first 6 months. Go figure." Bella smiled. I did too.
"Okay." I said.
"And Jake will probably phase in front of you, so don't have a spaz attack when he starts peeling his clothes off." Bella added.
"What?!"
“Now that te know, Jake's going to phase in front of you. te know, turn into a wolf, he needs to take his clothes off o he'll bust out of them, he turns into a massive wolf." Bella explained. I nodded
"Oh."
"Are there more, Lupi like Jake?" I asked. Bella nodded.
"They live in Forks, but that's okay, because Jake can run to the pack within minuti if he has to, he's the Alpha male da the way."
"Alpha... as in leader of the pack?"
"Exactly."
"This may seem really rude, but why were te all changed into Vampires? I know te because of Nessie... but why everyone else?"
"First off, Edward, Rose, Emmett, and Esme were changed da Carlisle, and he doesn't change just anyone, he won't make te a vampire unless te are dying, that's just the type of person he is. Okay, Edward was changed because he was dying of the Spanish Influenza, and it was his mother's last wish for him to live. Esme died because she jumped off a cliff. Everyone thought that she was dead in the morgue, but Carlisle could hear her cuore still beating, so he changed her, and soon married her. Rosalie was beaten and raped so horribly that she was dying on the strada, via when Carlisle saved her. She is the only one of us that would literally burn to be human. She wants’ a baby so bad. She's kind of bitchy at times, but it's just because te have the ability to have kids and she doesn't. You'll see when te meet her. She's really actually loving, in fact, if it weren't for her, Nessie might not be here. As for Emmett, he was mauled da a orso when Rose found him. She brought him to Carlisle who changed him. Alice and Jasper weren't changed da Carlisle. Alice was changed because James, a tracker Vampire, was trying to kill her. Jasper was changed because Maria, the girl who changed him, wanted him to train new born vampires. Carlisle was at the wrong place, at the wrong time. He was changed accidently, a vampire thought that he was fully drained, and dead, but he wasn't." Bella said.
"Oh. Why wouldn't Ness be here if it weren't for Rose?" I said. The truth was, that after Bella detto that, my thoughts kind-of drifted off. 'What did Rose do to help save Ness? Who was trying to hurt her?' Were some of the domande I kept asking myself.
"Well, being Nessie was killing me, Edward was afraid of losing me, so he planned to sedate me and take Nessie out before she could kill me, in return, killing her. Edward hates himself for ever thinking that, and has a new respect for Rose, who refused to let him to that." She explained. I felt my jaw lingering in the air. I attempted to pull it back into place, but no, it decided to stay where it was.
"Wow." I finally said, forcing my rebellious jaw to alight with my face. We pulled up to me and Dylan's house secondi later. I got the bags from the car and walked inside. Edward and Dylan were already inside, along with the entire Cullen family. I shuddered back, not expecting to see them all. Emmett smirked, like he was use to that reaction from people.
"Hi?" I greeted my guest, not fully understanding why they were there.
"Bella, Bella, Bella, te told her? Why would te do that?" A impossible beautifully blonde girl said. I starred at her.
"Rosalie? I'm Gianna." I said, while holding my hand out. I refused to let myself be intimidated da her. I refused. She eyed my hand for a secondo and then looked to Bella again. I pulled my hand back and shrugged. Jacob chuckled at the exact same time and Emmett sighing.
"You can't catch flies with vinegar Rose," Emmett whispered into her ear.
"Well it's a good thing I'm a vampire, cause I'm not found of flies." She bitterly said. Emmett rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Yeah, you're Rose, te live up to your reputation." I said. She smirked wickedly. I could hear Bella holding in a laugh, and Edward letting one escape.
"Yes, and te need to keep your mouth shut! Understand! If anyone finds out about us, we'll all be killed!" Rosalie growled.
"Like I would tell and hurt my niece, sister and brother, yeah, that's on the superiore, in alto of my to-do list." I chuckled almost involuntarily. Rosalie growled and folder her arms.
"Rose..." Emmett detto softly, almost like a moan.
"Em, she and her boyfriend are endangering our entire family!"
"First off, me and my FIANCE' aren't going to tell anyone, don't worry." I detto seriously.
"What was that?" Esme asked sweetly.
"Dylan and I aren't going to tell anyone." I repeated softer, più relaxed. Dylan walked up behind me and put his arms around my waist.
"I heard that, but did te say fiancé', dear? Esme asked. I nodded.
"Didn't Bella tell you?" I said.
"Clearly not." Dylan whispered to me.
"Since yesterday." I explained as I sighed. Ness, Esme, and Alice simultaneously squealed and ran towards me and Dylan. Alice grabbed my hand while Esme and Nessie gawked at my ring and bombarded me with questions. Like, when's the date, what are your color choices? Yatta, yatta, yatta.
"Alice," I asked, "I've heard that te are an amazing wedding planner... Want to plan my wedding?"
"Blue brides maids dresses are a great choice, but not out doors, unless te want to wait for fall, cause it is way to sunny in the Summer." She smirked.
"What's wrong with the sun?" Dylan asked. Bella elbowed Edward.
"You didn't mostra him?!" She asked forcefully.
"It was weird enough telling my future brother in-law that I was a vampire, It would have been unbearably awkward to sparkle for him too." He moaned. Bella chuckled.
"Come on, I'll mostra you." Bella detto as she grabbed Dylan's hand and led him into the sun room.
"Oh... wow." I heard Dylan say from the room. We all laughed, except Rosalie.
"So, te haven't chosen your bride's maids yet, " Alice sang, "believe me I know."
"Well, actually, now that I think about it, definitely you, Ness, and Bella...," I paused, was I actually going to choose Rosalie as a bride’s maid? 'Play nice Gianna!' I thought. "And Rose, I finally detto with a sigh. She smirked slightly, with a look of surprise on her face.
"Bella's as you're Maid of Honor, and who is that little girl who is the fiore girl?" Alice asked, as she blinked, drawing her attention from empty space.
"My sister Marcie." I explained. Alice nodded. Alice and I chatted for a little while after that, about center pieces and favors, then Jacob stood up and stretched his muscular arms to the sky.
"Okay, I know you're dying to see." he detto as he yet out a loud, exasperated yawn. Rosalie rolled her eyes.
"No one wants’ to see that Fido." She gagged.
"He Blondie, gotta good one for you. What do te call a blonde skeleton in the closet?" he grinned. He bit his lip, hoping Rosalie wouldn't know the answer, but even I knew the answer.
"Last year’s hide and go seek champion." I interrupted. Rosalie smirked widely.
"Aw! G!" Jacob moaned. I laughed.
"Dyed my hair blonde freshman year, and I was hit with that one numerous times, nice try though." I laughed. Jake sighed.
"Fine. Now I'll mostra you, and I get revenge... " Jake detto devilishly.
"God, no." Rose begged. She began to stand up.
"Oh, stay and watch Blondie. te know te like it." Jake snorted. Emmett and Rosalie both snarled at the same time. Jasper stared at them. They calmed down. Jacob peeled off his shorts and was totally nude, and he didn't seem to care. No comment. I looked at the bacheca behind him, so my peripheral vision wouldn't see his lower half.... Edward winced as Dylan moved uncomfortably underneath me. Bella and Nessie just looked away, like it was nothing special.
'Hello!!! There is a large naked man in my living room! Someone freak out with me! please!' I thought. I heard Edward snort, followed da chuckling. Jacob began to quiver slightly, as he fell to all fours. He flashed his huge white grin as pelliccia began to sprout from every inch if his bare skin. His ears got bigger as they moved to the superiore, in alto of his head and morphed into lupo ears at the same time as his face changed from attractive human features, into a dog snout, jaws and eyes. I watch in amazement as his spine extended into a long, fluffy tail. The transformation was over in seconds. I stared in awe, as the impossible large animal, stood in the place of Jacob. He barked once, as his tail began to wag. Jacob trotted to Nessie. I watched as he skillfully weaved through the divano and coffee' table, making sure not to hit then. I still don't know how he maneuvered around the house. He liked her face as she giggled.
"Jake! Ew!" She laughed, as she patted her face clean with her shirt, revealing her navel. Jake smiled at the exact same time Edward snarled, as Bella grabbed his shoulder. Edward growled and sat back.
"Control te thought's dog!" he yelled. Nessie sighed.
"Daddy!"
"I mean Jacob...." Edward said, "Mutt." he added under his breath. I chuckled, and yet winced, no wanting to know what Jacob was thinking. Jacob bent down to Nessie, almost as a curtsy, and began to walk to me. He flashed his teeth and let his massive tongue fall from his mouth. He crept inoltrare, avanti slightly and then proceeded to lick my face. I gasped and cowered into Dylan, who was cowering into the couch. Revenge.
"Ja...! Gross!!! Oh... my... ew! uh! "I gasped and moaned. We were even. Dylan seemed grossed out as he laughed. I turned and wiped my face in his shirt, and he stopped laughing. I heard a loud rumble come from Jacob's abdomen, a laugh.
"Yeah, yeah...? Well te remind me of my dog, back in Arizona! Max! So ha!" I laughed, in a teasing fashion. Jacob looked at me and let his tongue fall from between his jaws again, a threat!
"No! Just kidding! Ha-ha, funny joke, right?" I frantically said. He laughed again, and nodded. Truce.
"Say good-bye to the pup." Edward announced.
"Bye Max!" I joked, as I covered my face. He laughed one last time before he phased back into human form again.
"That was something, I'll admit." Dylan said, once Jake replaced his shorts.
"Does that hurt?" I asked.
Jake shook his head. "Not anymore. I'm used to it."
"Excuse me, “Jasper detto politely as he left the room. Edward stood up, and pulled Bella with him.
"We'll come too Jazz. Goodnight." Edward detto as he shook Dylan's hand, and kissed me on the cheek.
"Bye, G, bye Dill." Bella detto as she kissed me and Dylan goodbye.
"Where are te going?" I asked. Nessie stood up from the divano and touched Edward's arm.
"Yes Ness, te can come." He said.
"Hunting." Bella explained. I nodded.
"Oh. I'll take some deer with a side of fox." I joked.
"You have terrible taste!" Emmett laughed. "Bear is where it's at!"
"Yeah Aunt Gianna, orso and mountain lion." Nessie added. I'd almost forgotten she were half vampire.
"I'll develop good taste for animal blood, someday." I detto slowly, picking my word carefully.
"Alright. We'll see te later." Bella said. She, Edward, Nessie and the rest of the Cullen's left. I turned and walked into the hallway and grabbed my Michael's bag. I glued together pieces of paper and some embellishments, making a pretty kick-ass card.

I thought about putting just Dylan, but I figured that since he was my fiancé, and she was my niece, he would be her uncle one day, anyway. I thought about Marcie, and how I hadn't seen her since the 6th. I left the card to dry on the tavolo and walked to the front door and put on my coat.
"Where are te going baby?" Dylan asked.
"To see Marcie." I said, like it was not a big deal.
"Baby, I don't think te should go near Carol..." Dylan detto as his expression went worried.
"I'm not going to see Carol... I'm going to see Marcie." I sighed.
"I'm coming with you." He announced, without hesitation.
"Fine."
I woke up and reached for Dylan, but he wasn't there. I shot up into a upright position and looked around the room. Then I heard the sound of metal clanging against metal. Then I began to smell the bacon. He was cooking breakfast. I smiled and got out of bed. I felt something slide off my shoulder.
"Aw crap." I detto while laughing a little to myself. Dylan snapped the strap of my night dress. 'Guess I'll sew it later.' I detto to myself. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I got out and put my hair into a messy bun. I walked into our bedroom and changed into a pair of Dylan's sweatpants and my preferito graphics tee. It had a hilarious yet meaningful saying on it. 'Keep the battles on the dance floor.' The t's in the word battle looked like torpedoes. I walked downstairs. Dylan was slaving over the stove. making eggs, sausage and bacon. I snuck up on him.
"Smells good babe." I detto quietly into his ear. He jumped and pointed the spatola at me like he was using it as a weapon. I laughed. and took it from him.
"You scared the crap out of me." He chuckled as he sighed in relief. I laughed and handed him back the spatula. He put it onto the counter and pulled me into his arms. I took a breath and inhaled his scent.
"You smell like syrup." I detto softly.
"You smell like conditioner." he joked. I chuckled.
"Well I think te two smell like a newly engaged couple." Bella screamed as she ran into the room. Dylan threw me behind him. I laughed when I saw it was Bella. I think Dylan had a mini cuore attack, from the amount of times he was scared.
"Shit! te scared the ba-jebers of us Bells. Damn. Hungry?" I detto while laughing. Bella chuckled. Edward smiled and shook his head, Bella shook her head too.
"Jeez, We're not going to poison te guys, te never eat with us." Dylan said. I( chuckled. Bella smiled.
"We'll give te an excellent reason why." Bella detto as she smiled.
Edward sighed.
"Hey, uh Bella..." I said.
"Yeah?"
"Do te o Nessie happen to have a needle and thread?" I asked as I felt my face get hot. Edward started laughing. I stared at him. No one had detto anything funny.
"Why?" Bella asked maliciously.
"Dylan sort of broke the strap on my night dress." I detto lowly.
"I.... ha-ha... oh my... god... Alice might... blah ha ha. But I think we have some party planning to do today." Bella stuttered between laughs. I rolled my eyes as I smiled. I'd totally forgotten that Nessie's birthday was in 2 days.
"Oh, what should I get Nessie?" I asked.
"Nothing, just get her a card... o Ooo, better yet, make her a card!" Bella detto happily. "She doesn't expect much."
"Where is the nearest craft store?" I said. We'd only been in Boxford for a couple of days. We hadn't had time to really stock the house of anything except food.
"Well there are a few things I need to get for the party, so I'll take te with me, and Dylan and Edward will hang out for the day." Bella smiled.
"Okay." I said.
"We'll leave te two alone, and be back in about a half hour." Edward said. I smiled and waved them off as they walked back to their house. I started eating Dylan's delicious breakfast. He watched me eat as he picked around his plate of food. He was obviously waiting for me to tell him how delicious the Cibo was. I was truly amazing, but I decided to make him anxious. Without saying anything I picked my plate up and put it in the sink and ran up the stairs. I changed into a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, and left my graphic tee on. I pulled out an old black button down cardigan and pulled out my preferito aqua blue Converse and put them on. Dylan came out of the bathroom, almost giving me a cuore attack. He must have used the door in the hallway to get in. He had taken a doccia and was in nothing but a towel. All of his muscles were visible. His abs had no imperfections. He was perfect. His perfectly chiseled body glittered from the excess drops of water that he hadn't dried off yet. I stared at him. I couldn't believe he was mine. I took a much needed breath. I hadn't realized that I was so busy examining every inch of him, that I forgot to breathe. He chuckled. I smelled the Axe body wash almost instantly. I melted inside. Dylan caught my intense glance. He smiled.
"What?" He said. I jumped and stopped giorno dreaming, about what I wanted to do to him, right then and there. I wanted to call an instant replay of last night. I blinked.
"What? Oh, nothing. te take my breath away." I detto compulsively. Dylan chuckled and pulled me into his arms. He kissed me softly.
"Do I look sexy?" Dylan spoke what was on my mind.
"Hot, damn, sexy is an understatement." I admitted, in a soft voice. Dylan chuckled.
"Oh really?" Dylan detto as he pulled me off my feet and bringing me to the bed. He laid my on my back as he kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck but then I heard a car beeping. Dylan and I sighed and chuckled in unison. He pulled himself off of me and took my hand to help me up. I hugged him and kissed him and trotted down the stairs and out the front door. Bella was waiting in a gorgeous Ferrari F430. It was my dream car. I gasped as I almost, floated, to the beautiful car. Bella chuckled when I got into it, and soon followed. I stroked the leather on the dash board.
"I guess te like my it." Bella laughed.
"If I wasn't engaged to Dylan, I'd elope with your car." I whispered. She smiled and laughed silently.
"You scare me, how ironic.” Bella chuckled.
Why is that ironic?"
"Uh... never mind, let’s just go. Off to Never Land!..." Bella laughed.
“What happened to Lexi?” I asked. Bella smirked.
“I have two cars, one that holds a lot of people, Lexi, and one that only holds me and my chosen passenger, Ferrari.”
“No name?”
“No, couldn’t think of one, that, te know, really fit.” She explained. I nodded. What do te name the most amazing car in the world?
I smiled as we took off into the grey nube, nuvola that stood in front of us. It was raining and foggy, joy.
We drove to a Michaels and got paper and craft supplies to make Nessie cards. We also got things to decorate a cake for Nessie. I also bought a needle and thread. Bella laughed about it all the way back to the car.
I hadn't realized that Bella was wearing a necklace. It was small and quant; a linked chain with 4 charms on it. A lion, a lamb, a wolf, and a crystal cuore that almost blent in with her skin. The 3 most random animals, but they all were so cohesive. They were all handmade of some kind of stone. I stared at the collana as she drove.
"Wanna see it better?" She asked while catching my gaze. I looked up.
"Huh? Oh, yeah sure." I said. Bella lifted her neck. I took the collana between my fingers and examined each charm. I went to grab another charm and I accidently brushed her skin. It felt smooth, as usual, but also, cold, ice cube cold, and it was harder than last time I felt it. I dropped the charms and pulled my hand back.
"How in the tonaca, frock are te so cold Bells?" I asked. Bella sighed and didn't answer. Instead she suddenly pulled the car off the road and onto a concealed dirt path. We drove deep into the forest. She was frightening me.
"Where are we Bells?" I asked softly. I looked out the window. albero after albero passed. I couldn't see the road anymore and that worried me.
"Don't worry about it, I need to tell te something." She detto emotionlessly.
"Do te have to bring me to the black woods to tell me? What is it?" I asked in a demanding manner. I was quite scared.
"Yes. Please don't be scared. Alice detto te and Dylan will take this well. I'm sure te want to know why I'm so hard and cold, and why I never eat. So just relax, you'll know in a few minutes." Bella detto softly in a motherly manner.
"Bella! Just tell me!" I begged. She sighed again and stopped the car in the middle of a part of forest with no trees. She got out of the car without another word. She stood on the dirt, debating something with herself. I got out of the car and ran to her. I grabbed her cold, hard arm. She looked at me and blinked like I had broken her concentration.
"Bella... please just tell me." I nearly cried. Bella took my shoulders.
"I need te to know. Dad knew the most of it before he died." she detto quietly.
"Bella! Spit it out! You're killing me here!" I screamed. I almost fainted.
"The Cullen’s and I, we're a little, uh... special? No that’s not right. We're... different."
"Obviously, but so what? There's nothing wrong with being different."
"No, G. We're not even the same species as te and Dylan! We're... eh... vampires."
"Sure, my mom is half werewolf. I go wacky during a full moon."
"No really! And that whole full moon crap is totally bogus! Jacob can turn into a lupo at anytime, anywhere he wants. God! I hate folk tales. They make us seem like ugly, vial and all...fangy. We don't sleep, and we don't burn in sun and we don't have to drain a person to change then. It's all nonsense!!" Bella rambled. I stared at her.
"You're serious, aren't you?" I detto softly. What the fuck. How was this possible. She was my sister. No a vampire. Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. weren't supposed to exist, neither were werewolves. This couldn't be right. I made a fist and let my nail dig into my fleshy palm. 'Ow! Well it's obvious that I'm not dreaming.' I thought to myself.
"Yes, I am very serious! I needed te to know. I couldn't exist with myself knowing that I have been lying to te since we met."
"Wow, this is... insane! Impossible! Wow.... uh." I stuttered. Before I could say more, Bella jumped into the air. A good 50, and landed on a tall albero branch. She jumped down a few branches to talk to me.
"Do te believe me?" She asked.
"Yes... but this is insane... how is this possible?" I gawked. She chuckled but then got serious.
"Are te afraid of me?"
"N... no... Bells, I would never be afraid of you, you're my big sister." I said. She smiled.
"Good. Wanna come up?"
"Mmm Hm." I nodded. She jumped down and wrapped her arm around my waist. She jumped again and this time, we landed on a higher branch.
"Whoa!" I gasped. Bella chuckled.
"Do te really think I'll let te fall?"
"Uh, no." I giggled. "How do people not know about this?"
"We're careful, and we try to blend, which isn't really hard, especially when te have special abilities to help that out." Bella smiled.
"Special abilities?" I asked.
"Oh boy." Bella chuckled.
"Yes. Some of us have special powers. Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme don't have powers, but the rest of us do. I can shield people's minds from unwanted invaders, o anything that messes with it. Jasper can control emotions. Like he can change them o create them. Alice can see the future after someone makes a decision that alters o changes the future. She can't see licantropi o half breeds like Nessie though. Edward can read minds, but not mine. Nessie can mostra te her thoughts, o memories when she touches you. Yeah." Bella said. My jaw was practically on the floor.
"First off, what's a half breed? Second, Edward knows what I've been thinking this entire time? What? Oh my god!" I yelled.
"A half breed is exactly what it sounds like. A half vampire, half human person, like Nessie, who is, yes, me and Edward's daughter. And yes."
"Oh my god! I have a niece? What?! How long have te and Edward been like this? And hold freggin' old is Nessie? te can't be older than 24! No way!"
"Ha, okay. I've been like this since September 10th, 2006. So 5 years. And Nessie is 5 technically, but she's physically 15. She ages really fast. I am 18, physically, but yes, I am 24. Might as well tell te everything. Edward and Alice are 17, Rosalie is 18. Emmett and Jasper are 20. Carlisle is 23, and Esme is 26."
"Wait, so isn't that Nessie's birthday?.." I asked. Bella nodded.
"You see, being I was human when I was pregnant for Nessie, she was freakishly stronger than me and she nearly killed me when she was born, but Edward changed me before I did."
"So, where did te get the golden eyes from? I mean, Nessie has Charlie's eyes, but do te have your moms?"
"Oh, our eyes change color when we change. Bright red is when we first change, and then, being we drink animal blood, and not human blood, our eyes turn a golden honey color. But Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. who drink human blood, eyes turn a dark, dull crimson. I originally had Charlie's brown eyes."
"Oh...So Edward drained you?"
"No... a human doesn't need to be completely drained to change. We have venom that changes you. It basically freezes te in time, after it makes te hard, cold and marble smooth. It also makes te impossibly beautiful and pale..."
"Oh, wow. So stories about like garlic warding te guys off, and sleeping in coffins, and burning in the sunlight, are fake?"
''Yeah. We don't sleep at all and we don't burn up in sunlight, but we can't go in sunlight."
"Why?"
"Take my hand." Bella detto as she held out her hand. I took it and she swung me over her shoulder. She jumped into a patch of sunlight. I gawked at her. Every inch of her glowed like diamonds. She looked like a goddess.
"Oh, my god, well, that was unexpected. It's beautiful." I stuttered. Bella chuckled. She looked away toward the car and narrowed her eyes.
"What?" I asked, while looking in the same direction as she was. I couldn't see anything.
"About time!" Bella said. She smiled.
"For what?" I asked. She chuckled and held out her arm and pointed. I looked and saw the shiny silver Volvo. We walked toward the car and waited for it to stop. I could see Dylan's face through the window. He was excited to see me. When the car stopped, Dylan jumped out and ran to me.
"Baby!" Dylan exclaimed as he pulled me into his arms. I smiled.
"Did he tell you?" I asked while I motioned my chin toward Edward. Dylan nodded.
"Our thoughts are never safe!" He joked. I smiled again.
"They are with me." Bella chuckled as Edward walked to her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Yeah..." Edward sighed.
"Edward, it's not fair to read their innocent thoughts." Bella said.
"Oh, believe me, they are far from innocent." He laughed.
"Wait!" I yelled, remembering Renesmee's birthday coming up. "I guess a sleep-over isn't the greatest of ideas... is it?"
"Oh, I think it's a great idea. While te and my little zucca sleep, Alice, Rose, Esme and I will prank te two like there's no tomorrow. I Amore the idea!" Bella joked maliciously.
"Okay, that's it babe, we need to stock up on the Red Bulls and Coffee'." I laughed.
"I'll make te a deal Gianna. If te can stay up all night, Edward and I will pay for your honey moon. But if te fall asleep, te are completely subject to all of our jokes. Deal?" Bella said.
"I don't want to make te pay for an entire honey moon, but deal." I giggled.
"Oh, we'll see. Sleep tight Ms. Swan." Bella smirked.
"Poor Ness and Jake! What do te guys do to them while they sleep?!" Dylan asked. I chuckled.
"We mostly hunt at night, but once in a while, we'll mess around with Jacob. Like last anno on his birthday, we hung dog Bones from his ceiling. It made him so angry, but he eventually laughed at it. Ah, good times." Edward reminisced. Bella elbowed him.
"That wasn't nice, but yeah, it was hilarious." Bella agreed as she smiled.
"Alright, the humans are hungry, better go. I'll see te at home." Edward detto as he kissed Bella on the cheek. I looked at Dylan.
"I got hungry when te detto Red Bull." He crookedly smiled. I shook my head and laughed. 'Figures.' I thought to myself.
I got into Bella's Ferrari and Dylan got into Edward's Volvo. We raced home, and me and Bella smoked Edward and Dylan. Obviously.
"Nessie will catch te up on her life when te get in. Alice and Rose made a baby book for her, that looks like it spans for the first 2 years of her life, but it was actually only the first 6 months. Go figure." Bella smiled. I did too.
"Okay." I said.
"And Jake will probably phase in front of you, so don't have a spaz attack when he starts peeling his clothes off." Bella added.
"What?!"
“Now that te know, Jake's going to phase in front of you. te know, turn into a wolf, he needs to take his clothes off o he'll bust out of them, he turns into a massive wolf." Bella explained. I nodded
"Oh."
"Are there more, Lupi like Jake?" I asked. Bella nodded.
"They live in Forks, but that's okay, because Jake can run to the pack within minuti if he has to, he's the Alpha male da the way."
"Alpha... as in leader of the pack?"
"Exactly."
"This may seem really rude, but why were te all changed into Vampires? I know te because of Nessie... but why everyone else?"
"First off, Edward, Rose, Emmett, and Esme were changed da Carlisle, and he doesn't change just anyone, he won't make te a vampire unless te are dying, that's just the type of person he is. Okay, Edward was changed because he was dying of the Spanish Influenza, and it was his mother's last wish for him to live. Esme died because she jumped off a cliff. Everyone thought that she was dead in the morgue, but Carlisle could hear her cuore still beating, so he changed her, and soon married her. Rosalie was beaten and raped so horribly that she was dying on the strada, via when Carlisle saved her. She is the only one of us that would literally burn to be human. She wants’ a baby so bad. She's kind of bitchy at times, but it's just because te have the ability to have kids and she doesn't. You'll see when te meet her. She's really actually loving, in fact, if it weren't for her, Nessie might not be here. As for Emmett, he was mauled da a orso when Rose found him. She brought him to Carlisle who changed him. Alice and Jasper weren't changed da Carlisle. Alice was changed because James, a tracker Vampire, was trying to kill her. Jasper was changed because Maria, the girl who changed him, wanted him to train new born vampires. Carlisle was at the wrong place, at the wrong time. He was changed accidently, a vampire thought that he was fully drained, and dead, but he wasn't." Bella said.
"Oh. Why wouldn't Ness be here if it weren't for Rose?" I said. The truth was, that after Bella detto that, my thoughts kind-of drifted off. 'What did Rose do to help save Ness? Who was trying to hurt her?' Were some of the domande I kept asking myself.
"Well, being Nessie was killing me, Edward was afraid of losing me, so he planned to sedate me and take Nessie out before she could kill me, in return, killing her. Edward hates himself for ever thinking that, and has a new respect for Rose, who refused to let him to that." She explained. I felt my jaw lingering in the air. I attempted to pull it back into place, but no, it decided to stay where it was.
"Wow." I finally said, forcing my rebellious jaw to alight with my face. We pulled up to me and Dylan's house secondi later. I got the bags from the car and walked inside. Edward and Dylan were already inside, along with the entire Cullen family. I shuddered back, not expecting to see them all. Emmett smirked, like he was use to that reaction from people.
"Hi?" I greeted my guest, not fully understanding why they were there.
"Bella, Bella, Bella, te told her? Why would te do that?" A impossible beautifully blonde girl said. I starred at her.
"Rosalie? I'm Gianna." I said, while holding my hand out. I refused to let myself be intimidated da her. I refused. She eyed my hand for a secondo and then looked to Bella again. I pulled my hand back and shrugged. Jacob chuckled at the exact same time and Emmett sighing.
"You can't catch flies with vinegar Rose," Emmett whispered into her ear.
"Well it's a good thing I'm a vampire, cause I'm not found of flies." She bitterly said. Emmett rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Yeah, you're Rose, te live up to your reputation." I said. She smirked wickedly. I could hear Bella holding in a laugh, and Edward letting one escape.
"Yes, and te need to keep your mouth shut! Understand! If anyone finds out about us, we'll all be killed!" Rosalie growled.
"Like I would tell and hurt my niece, sister and brother, yeah, that's on the superiore, in alto of my to-do list." I chuckled almost involuntarily. Rosalie growled and folder her arms.
"Rose..." Emmett detto softly, almost like a moan.
"Em, she and her boyfriend are endangering our entire family!"
"First off, me and my FIANCE' aren't going to tell anyone, don't worry." I detto seriously.
"What was that?" Esme asked sweetly.
"Dylan and I aren't going to tell anyone." I repeated softer, più relaxed. Dylan walked up behind me and put his arms around my waist.
"I heard that, but did te say fiancé', dear? Esme asked. I nodded.
"Didn't Bella tell you?" I said.
"Clearly not." Dylan whispered to me.
"Since yesterday." I explained as I sighed. Ness, Esme, and Alice simultaneously squealed and ran towards me and Dylan. Alice grabbed my hand while Esme and Nessie gawked at my ring and bombarded me with questions. Like, when's the date, what are your color choices? Yatta, yatta, yatta.
"Alice," I asked, "I've heard that te are an amazing wedding planner... Want to plan my wedding?"
"Blue brides maids dresses are a great choice, but not out doors, unless te want to wait for fall, cause it is way to sunny in the Summer." She smirked.
"What's wrong with the sun?" Dylan asked. Bella elbowed Edward.
"You didn't mostra him?!" She asked forcefully.
"It was weird enough telling my future brother in-law that I was a vampire, It would have been unbearably awkward to sparkle for him too." He moaned. Bella chuckled.
"Come on, I'll mostra you." Bella detto as she grabbed Dylan's hand and led him into the sun room.
"Oh... wow." I heard Dylan say from the room. We all laughed, except Rosalie.
"So, te haven't chosen your bride's maids yet, " Alice sang, "believe me I know."
"Well, actually, now that I think about it, definitely you, Ness, and Bella...," I paused, was I actually going to choose Rosalie as a bride’s maid? 'Play nice Gianna!' I thought. "And Rose, I finally detto with a sigh. She smirked slightly, with a look of surprise on her face.
"Bella's as you're Maid of Honor, and who is that little girl who is the fiore girl?" Alice asked, as she blinked, drawing her attention from empty space.
"My sister Marcie." I explained. Alice nodded. Alice and I chatted for a little while after that, about center pieces and favors, then Jacob stood up and stretched his muscular arms to the sky.
"Okay, I know you're dying to see." he detto as he yet out a loud, exasperated yawn. Rosalie rolled her eyes.
"No one wants’ to see that Fido." She gagged.
"He Blondie, gotta good one for you. What do te call a blonde skeleton in the closet?" he grinned. He bit his lip, hoping Rosalie wouldn't know the answer, but even I knew the answer.
"Last year’s hide and go seek champion." I interrupted. Rosalie smirked widely.
"Aw! G!" Jacob moaned. I laughed.
"Dyed my hair blonde freshman year, and I was hit with that one numerous times, nice try though." I laughed. Jake sighed.
"Fine. Now I'll mostra you, and I get revenge... " Jake detto devilishly.
"God, no." Rose begged. She began to stand up.
"Oh, stay and watch Blondie. te know te like it." Jake snorted. Emmett and Rosalie both snarled at the same time. Jasper stared at them. They calmed down. Jacob peeled off his shorts and was totally nude, and he didn't seem to care. No comment. I looked at the bacheca behind him, so my peripheral vision wouldn't see his lower half.... Edward winced as Dylan moved uncomfortably underneath me. Bella and Nessie just looked away, like it was nothing special.
'Hello!!! There is a large naked man in my living room! Someone freak out with me! please!' I thought. I heard Edward snort, followed da chuckling. Jacob began to quiver slightly, as he fell to all fours. He flashed his huge white grin as pelliccia began to sprout from every inch if his bare skin. His ears got bigger as they moved to the superiore, in alto of his head and morphed into lupo ears at the same time as his face changed from attractive human features, into a dog snout, jaws and eyes. I watch in amazement as his spine extended into a long, fluffy tail. The transformation was over in seconds. I stared in awe, as the impossible large animal, stood in the place of Jacob. He barked once, as his tail began to wag. Jacob trotted to Nessie. I watched as he skillfully weaved through the divano and coffee' table, making sure not to hit then. I still don't know how he maneuvered around the house. He liked her face as she giggled.
"Jake! Ew!" She laughed, as she patted her face clean with her shirt, revealing her navel. Jake smiled at the exact same time Edward snarled, as Bella grabbed his shoulder. Edward growled and sat back.
"Control te thought's dog!" he yelled. Nessie sighed.
"Daddy!"
"I mean Jacob...." Edward said, "Mutt." he added under his breath. I chuckled, and yet winced, no wanting to know what Jacob was thinking. Jacob bent down to Nessie, almost as a curtsy, and began to walk to me. He flashed his teeth and let his massive tongue fall from his mouth. He crept inoltrare, avanti slightly and then proceeded to lick my face. I gasped and cowered into Dylan, who was cowering into the couch. Revenge.
"Ja...! Gross!!! Oh... my... ew! uh! "I gasped and moaned. We were even. Dylan seemed grossed out as he laughed. I turned and wiped my face in his shirt, and he stopped laughing. I heard a loud rumble come from Jacob's abdomen, a laugh.
"Yeah, yeah...? Well te remind me of my dog, back in Arizona! Max! So ha!" I laughed, in a teasing fashion. Jacob looked at me and let his tongue fall from between his jaws again, a threat!
"No! Just kidding! Ha-ha, funny joke, right?" I frantically said. He laughed again, and nodded. Truce.
"Say good-bye to the pup." Edward announced.
"Bye Max!" I joked, as I covered my face. He laughed one last time before he phased back into human form again.
"That was something, I'll admit." Dylan said, once Jake replaced his shorts.
"Does that hurt?" I asked.
Jake shook his head. "Not anymore. I'm used to it."

"We'll come too Jazz. Goodnight." Edward detto as he shook Dylan's hand, and kissed me on the cheek.
"Bye, G, bye Dill." Bella detto as she kissed me and Dylan goodbye.
"Where are te going?" I asked. Nessie stood up from the divano and touched Edward's arm.
"Yes Ness, te can come." He said.
"Hunting." Bella explained. I nodded.
"Oh. I'll take some deer with a side of fox." I joked.
"You have terrible taste!" Emmett laughed. "Bear is where it's at!"
"Yeah Aunt Gianna, orso and mountain lion." Nessie added. I'd almost forgotten she were half vampire.
"I'll develop good taste for animal blood, someday." I detto slowly, picking my word carefully.
"Alright. We'll see te later." Bella said. She, Edward, Nessie and the rest of the Cullen's left. I turned and walked into the hallway and grabbed my Michael's bag. I glued together pieces of paper and some embellishments, making a pretty kick-ass card.

I thought about putting just Dylan, but I figured that since he was my fiancé, and she was my niece, he would be her uncle one day, anyway. I thought about Marcie, and how I hadn't seen her since the 6th. I left the card to dry on the tavolo and walked to the front door and put on my coat.
"Where are te going baby?" Dylan asked.
"To see Marcie." I said, like it was not a big deal.
"Baby, I don't think te should go near Carol..." Dylan detto as his expression went worried.
"I'm not going to see Carol... I'm going to see Marcie." I sighed.
"I'm coming with you." He announced, without hesitation.
