"Come on! Get up, Get up!" Alice was chanting in my ear. "I have our whole giorno planed. Shopping for your dress, getting our nails done-which is at 9-, lunch, and then I invited Rosalie to come with us shopping for her a dress after." She was now shaking my bed. "Come on! te have 5 mintues to get up, 20 to get ready. sposta your booty!" And with that my room went queit. Finally.

I sighed and rolled over, burrying myself deeper in my blankets. "Get up!" Alice yelled right in my ear, causing me to shoot up muttering a few curse words as I walked to my bathroom.


"Okay. I have these 5 I want te to try on. I want to see everyone of them, Bella." She threw the cocktail dresses in my arms and pushed my toward the fitting rooms. "Every single one." she pointed at me then closed my door. I sighed picking up my first one with my newly french manicured nails.

The first was a dark green. It was a no from both of us. The secondo was yellow, a deffinate no. The third, a dark purple, it looked good, but didn't feel to great. The forth was was pink, Alice loved, I hated. The fifth was a blue, that criss crossed in the back and had a little dip of cleavge in the front.

"Alice. I think this is prefect." I smiled and opened the door.

"Oh, my gosh! Bella it is prefect! Now take it off so we can buy it before some one else ripps it off of you." She pushed me back in the room and closed the door quickly. I giggled to myself and started undressing.

Rosalie and Alice had spent two hours getting me ready and I couldn't believe it was me after they were done.

"Okay, girls." Alice smiled, and placed her hands on her hips. "Let's go catch us some men."

We decided on taking a taxi so the guys could take us home. The bouncer recgonized Rose and let us all through into the Musica filled room.

I noticed Edward's unruly hair, Jasper's tattooed arm and....the back of my brother's head?

"Alice?" I whispered in her ear. "Did te call Emmett?"

She lookd over at me and smiled. That was a yes.

"Jasper!" Alice yelled and cupped her mouth.

He turned around and smiled at her. She was lucky.

As if his name had also been called, Edward turned to look at me. He trailed his eyes from my face all the way down to my silver strappy heels.

"Hi." I blushed.

He cleared his throat. "You look...wow."

I blushed. "You look pretty wow yourself."

He was wearing dark jeans and a blue button up that matched the color of my dress. It was only buttoned to the superiore, in alto three.

"Would te like something to drink?" He asked.

"Sure." I smiled. "Thanks."

He smiled back and pulled me into his lap, calling Rose's fill in for a drink.

"Where is Lilly?"

"She's with my mom. I told Mom I could take her to Kate's -my sister- but she refused. Lilly is her pride and joy. We were kicked out of the run as soon as Lilly was born." He smiled a crooked smile.

The bartender handed me a rosa drink, and I took a sip before turning to Edward. "So, tell me about yourself."

"Well," He started. "My mother's name is Esme and my father is Carlisle. My full name is Edward Mason Cullen and I am 24 years old. I smoked my first cig my freshman anno and threw up, haven't tried it since. Kate is the oldest of the three of us and has a 2 anno old son, Seth. I'm the middle child. I married Tanya right after highschool. She got pregnant three months later. She didn't complane through the whole pregnancy. When Lilly was born on June 14, 2005, she took her and loved her. giorno da giorno she would distant herself from Lilly. Little things like when she would cry, she would take her out of her culla, presepe and set her on the floor to play and wouldn't do a thing else.

"Lilly had just turned two when Tanya left. Took all of her things, and left nothing of hers behind. Lilly has been raised da me, alone, since. Jasper is the youngest...now. I have a couple of tattoos-"

"You have a tattoo?" I gasped. "Can I see it?"

He thought for a second, then undid three più buttons, pulling the left side of his camicia over to reveal his peck. Arched and in thick black Scrivere was 'Tyler'. The same thing Jasper had on the inside of his wrist.

"Jasper has the same thing." I touchd it lightly with my fingertips.

"Kate has one too. It's on her hip." He didn't bother to button his camicia back up.

"Who was Tyler?" I asked causiously.

He hung his head then looked back up at me.

"Micheal Tyler Cullen. He was our youngest brother. When he was 17, he was having a really hard time." Tears were forming in his eyes. "His girlfriend had dato birth to a boy -it was his-, Jackson. Jessica took off with him. He saw him in the hospital all of one time before Jessica took him. Jasper and I had gone out one night when we were supposed to be watching him. He was 17, but he wasn't completly allright at the time because of what Jessica had done. We went to a Friends house, came back a few hours later." Tears were streaming his cheeks. He squeezed his eyes shut and threw his head back in a groan. I wanted so bad to know what to say. He looked back at me and cringed as he spoke. "We called for him, but he didn't answer. He went up to his room and we found him....he had killed himself."

I gasped and pulled him to me on instinct. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in my shoulder. I could feel his hot tears hit my chilled skin.

"We should have never left." He spoke. "If we had just stayed."

I pulled his head up to look at me. "It's not your fault. Do te think te and Jasper being there would have stopped him? His mind was made up, Edward. te couldn't have stopped him."

I blinked away my own tears, a few falling stray.
"It wasn't your's o Jasper's fault."

He didn't say anything, just hung his head.

Not knowing what to do I walked over to Alice and Jasper. "I'm taking Edward home." I told them.

"What's wrong? Is he sick?" Alice asked.

"No." I shook my head. "We just got to talking and I guess he hit a sore spot." I looked over at Jasper, and the look on his face told me he knew.

"I will see te guys later." I waved and walked back over to Edward.

He took my hand and handed me his keys. "Thank you."

"Thank's for staying." Edward whispered in my ear.

"Thank te for lending my the clothes." I smiled.

"Anytime." He winked.

"You detto te had a couple of tattoos. How many do te have?" I asked.

"Two counting 'Tyler'." He sipped his water.

"Can I see the other one?" I asked.

He nodded and turned his back to me. He pulled his camicia over his head and tossed it aside. On his right shoulder blade was a symbol.

"What does it mean?" I asked as I traced it with my index finger.

"It's Japanese for 'Faith'. It's Lily's middle name and it's been my motto ever since Tanya left."

He turned back around when I dropped my hand.

"Enough about me. What about you?" He asked.

"Well as te know, Charlie raised Emmett, Alice, and I after Rene left. We all graduated from Harvord, Alice also has her titolo but plans to stay as is untill she needs più money. She's paid just as much because Emmett pays us so I don't think she will ever sposta herself up." I rolled my eyes and Edward chuckled.

"I graduated superiore, in alto of my class. One long relation ship through high school and his name was Jacob Black. He even purposed when I graduated college and of course I detto yes. Two weeks later I caught him cheeting on me with Leah, our wedding planner. I threw his ring at him so hard it busted his lip." I giggled. "I share a house with Alice because neither one of us like living alone. Emmett owns a flat in the city a few blocks from work." I shrugged. "That's pretty much it."

"My preferito color is black, my preferito movie is Leagon. My preferito person is Lily. I don't have a preferito book because I don't like to read." Edward spoke. "Your turn." He smiled.

"My preferito color is green, my preferito movie is Pride and Prejduice. My preferito person is Emmett. My preferito book is Wurthering Hights."

"What is Emmett your preferito person?" He asked.

"Because when Charile had to go to work on Saturday's he would take care of Alice and I. Those were our crying days. We would just sit and cry and we would do it together on the divano because Emmett wanted us to greive together. Not alone. He would tell us how much better off we were and that we didn't need her. He was right." I smiled at the end.

"You think Lily will turn out okay?" He asked seriously.

"I think Lily is going to grow up and be the happiest girl alive because she will know that she was perfectly indepented and because her father loved her più than life its self."

He smiled then pulled me in for a kiss. He pulled back half a secondo later, his eyes wide. "I'm sorry I-"

I cut him off. "Don't apologize." I shook my head.

"Bella, I really like you. I haven't felt this happy in years. I ca just open myself up to te and te don't judge me. te know exactly what to say o do. I need someone like te in my life. Will te please-"

I cut him off again with a kiss. "It was a yes before te even started te monologue." I laughed and he pulled my in for another baciare with a grin.
