I knew one day, he would leave me and he did, I didn't know what to feel when it happened: pain o expectance?

The one that came was pain and I welcomed it with open arms, I suffered hard but nothing could have been helped. It was my stupidity I had foolishly made a bet with Tanya that she could never seduce him and she did.
I was an idiot so blind in my love, that I trusted him with my whole heart; I gave him my everything expecting it in return.
Was it all lies, just scam? To get whatever I had if so he deserved an award because I sure fell for his acting.

~~~FlASHBACK~~~

"Eddie's so mine," Tanya drawled. It would have been probably the hundredth time today.

"Who's got him as a boyfriend then eh?" my best friend Alice finally growled out, Tanya didn't bother replying to Alice, she was Edward's younger sister, whom she had great respect for, hoping one giorno she would lead her to him.
"But she's so plain," Lauren, Tanya's "friend" pointed out, "Tanya and Edward make a great couple."
Alice started laughing, whilst I just looked at the ground ashamed.
"Tell te what Bella, I bet I can get Edward da the end of this year. Deal?" Tanya betted, "and if I can he is mine."

I didn't want to bet, what if it happened? Maybe he would see something in Tanya he never saw in me; then what would happen to me? I would a half-alive shell.

Instead of me choosing Alice spoke up: "Tanya, my brother would never data te o any of your skanky Friends deal."

"That's what te think," Tanya smirked, "and Bella don't make his wanting me a big situation. Just give him up honey."

She swished her long curly fragola blonde hair and strutted away in tight fitting black dress. Clearly annunciating every curve, I sighed, I wished I could have been that gorgeous.

Alice must have sensed my thoughts as we watched Tanya and her friend retreat away.
"Bella, te so do not want to be like her, she just gives the slut vibe."
I smiled at my supportive friend, even as a short as she always had strength in her, she was più bubbly now after her whole "emo/goth" period where she dyed her bronze hair all black.
Now it was in short spikes around her face, nevertheless she looked beautiful either way.

"Heads up, Edward coming this way."
I looked around as saw him nowhere, Alice must of saw my confused expression because she mouthed two secondi and rightly enough he came looking stunning as he walked through the entrance of the cafeteria me and Alice were standing in.

His penetrating green searched for us as soon as he found us he gave grin and pulled his bag further up his shoulders.

"Hey," he whispered as reached us; he pulled me in his arms and gave me a sweet and lingering kiss.
"Hi," I detto breathlessly.
"Ugh, if te two are going to go on like this I might as well find my Jazzie," Alice grumbled.
"Jasper's away," Edward detto and Alice stuck her tongue out at him.
"Nah, I am going to leave te two lovebirds alone. I was just trying to say it nicely."
"Very nicely indeed Alice." I snorted at her.
"Bye guys, have fun." She waved at us and started to walk away.
"Hmm...all alone now." Edward murmured and he pulled in for another kiss.


-MONTHS LATER-

I was giddy and still hurting but nothing could have been better than me and Edward losing our virginity together last night. It
was perfect for us.

The way each kiss, touch and caress made me feel special and beautiful. It made lose all my insecurities.

Only three months fa I caught him making out with Tanya in secluded room, her Friends all smirked at me expect Rosalie she just looked...sad?
I had run out of there, tears streaming down my face as I waited for Edward to kill me that one last bit with the break-up.
He chased after me, promising me Tanya was the one that came on him and I just happened walk past at that same time. I trusted him because I remembered her bet and I loved him.

A few weeks later I got a call from the police department telling me my father had been shot on duty, I rushed home as fast as I could with Edward; he supported me through the whole funeral and was always there when I needed him in college. My mother was also broken but I helped as much as I could. She insisted that went back to college.

I kept to the promise, and the anno was coming to an end, I would visit my mom after it finished.
I wandered around the campus biblioteca for a bit, Edward had detto he had some paper to finish. I left him so he wouldn't get distracted.

I was browsing the shelves, when I heard hushed whispers and moans, which I brushed off as students trying to do the biblioteca sex fantasy.

I stepped out to see two people heavily making out until I realised the pale hands around the girls waist were recognisable, the reddish brown hair and tall body was...Edward's.

I gasped, my cuore shattered to pieces, so this was his paper. Paper my ass.

Both of them turned around to look at me, Tanya's expression was gleeful, she had gotten what she wanted and I had to now hand to her quietly. Edward showed più shock, probably at being caught twice.

I hurried out of there as quick as I could my cuore felt like I had a coltello plunged into it.
Why did he have to rip it up slowly? If he really wanted he could have had her. The whole idea was making my head spin.

I fell to the nearest bench and cried my tears, I cried for everything and even after he cheated on me I had no strength not to Amore him anymore.

I didn't bother phoning Alice I didn't want her to get worried.
How long I sat there I didn't know o care but I did realise when the last person I expected sat successivo to me.

I wiped my face as I looked at her beautiful face, soft blonde curls fell down half down her back, she had a face of an angel.

"Hello," I whispered.
"Bella, what happened?"
"Nothing." It was nothing of importance.
"Don't give me crap, te look so...broken."
I was torn to bits but that didn't matter anyway, I wanted to shout and tell him how much I hated instead all I that would come out of my mouth would have been an I Amore te and I need you.

I shook my head, I want one to let my misery bring down others, Rosalie made an annoyed sound and gave me a hug, which seemed odd, I started crying loudly, I wept out all I had to someone else.
Rosalie helped me out as much as she could after I had confessed everything to her.

At midnight I slowly walked into our apartment, thankfully he wasn't there; I guessed he would be enjoying the pleasures Tanya had to offer, ones I probably couldn't give.

I packed away my bag and left the keys with a note; once I reached the door I gave it one last look, leaving my everything behind.

I stayed at Rosalie's place for a while till I got transferred; looking at him in class everyday was too much for me.

Sometimes, in that short period, I would catch him looking at me with, what I thought was, Amore in his eyes but I wanted to be strong. He was following my instructions like I told him in the note but it did to think what if he simply didn't care?

Going to college near my mom helped things, instead having wallowing in my own selfish desires, I helped my mom it was so much easier to keep my mind off things. I didn't tell her what happened but just simple "we moved on."

My mom met someone called Phil and started seeing him, all of a sudden her life changed, she changed. I couldn't of been happier to see her happy.

I kept my brooding self to myself, I didn't want to knock off their "lovey dovey" mood as much I wished to get someone like that, I had made sure I was closed off. Getting hurt again would kill me.

A few days later Alice gave a call which killed me instantly; Edward had been hit da a drink driver and was in coma.

I rushed immediately to his side, not caring that he had cheated on me just he was hurt and I had to help him.

When I entered the hospital I saw Esme and Alice with somber looks.

Esme, was one of the kindest women, was crying softly at the sight of her child lying on the letto whereas Alice was crying for her brother.
"How is he?" I demanded.
"Same." Was the only reply given.
I was dato a visiting pass; I made my way to his room. Opening it softly I saw him lying ever so peacefully on the bed, my cuore stuttered at the sight.

Carefully sitting down on the hard plastic chair I watched him.
"H-hey Edward," I managed to say out loud after a while.
"They say, talking help people from coma. So I guess te can hear me." I laughed quietly at the thought I might as well be talking to a wall.
"I don't know what happened between us, but I do know I still Amore you, maybe even forever. Did te never feel the sparks between us? Was if always me? Did te not feel anything I felt for te even for a fraction of a second? Maybe te didn't. I just deluded myself. Edward I Amore you, get better please, not for me for Esme and Alice o the girl you'll Amore forever. Please."
I softly brushed my lips along his forehead, the pain of it I promised myself I would let it run.
I did this for three weeks, each giorno my cuore hurt a little più if it was possible.

I had made a promise to Alice she would never tell him I was there, the giorno he woke up I was feeling a bit down.
I walked and Alice literally jumped on me. "He's awake!" she shouted.
My chest swelled with happiness, he was living I could last. I knew I couldn't walk in so I watched from the corner.
That's where Alice found me.
"He's asking for you," she said.
"I-I can't go there," my voice cracked.
"Just stay with him. te don't have to talk."
My cuore ached to be near him, it would matter just this once.
I sighed and nodded in defeat.
"Great I'll te two alone, I'm going away with Jasper and mom is at home."
She detto bye and walked away, I slowly moved towards the ward and stood at the door for a few minuti as Edward's dad, who was a doctor, checked him over for a few seconds.

His dad was an amazing doctor, named: Carlisle Cullen, absolutely handsome in looks too, Blonde hair, muscular figure, sparkling blue eyes, He was also very compassionate and caring.

He smiled at me when he was leaving and saw me standing at the door, I decided it would of be best if I went in and faced whatever was going to happen.

Carefully sitting down on the plastic chair, I watched Edward whose eyes were closed as he lay back against the bed.
I stiffened when he opened his eyes, I didn't want him to see me.
He turned around, his eyes widened, "Bella?"
I smiled a tiny smile.
"Baby, is that you?" He grasped my hand and clutched it between his.
My hand fitted in his large pale ones perfectly; I knew how much the thought of that made me happy, now not so much.
"Don't go," he muttered, "this is the best dream yet, and te don't stay più than two minuti usually."
He thought I was a dream, I didn't care to remind; I wanted it to be a dream too.
After being sure I was here, he lay back and went to sleep.
He looked healthier; his pale skin had a reddish tinge to it. I smiled to myself he was okay.

~~~FLASHBACK OVER~~~

The snow swept around me, I knew he wasn't going to come here. This wasn't a clichéd movie where the hero realises he needs the heroine after all.
I wasn't a heroine, I was normal human.

I sighed to myself and shifted, I was getting uncomfortable on the bench I was sitting on.

A dark shape loomed above me, my cuore thumped but it wasn't him.

"Isabella Swan?" the shadow asked.
"Yes," I replied shakily standing up.
The person had a long mantello and hood, which he pushed down to reveal a pale gauntly face with black long hair.
"So you're the bitch," he spat.
I was shocked I had never done anything.
"You’re the girl who took Edward away from my Tanya."
He took a gun from his deep black mantello and a shot rang out.

I heard the shot before I felt the pain, I gasped.
Falling to the snow, I let my blood out on to the ground.

Turning everything white to red.

The feeling was warm and soft but the position I was in was uncomfortable.
Was death this uncomfortable?
I didn't know I slowly opened one of my eyes to see a blurry room full of...machines?

I blinked letting my eyes set until I realised I was in the hospital.

I also knew someone else was here; I looked to see Edward sitting on the visiting chair, his head resting on my letto as he slept peaceful.

I knew I was dreaming, there was no valid reason to why he was here but I loved my delusions right now.
I slowly moved my hand so it brushed his soft red hair.
I had missed the sensation.

He woke up after a while off brushing his unruly hair.
“Bella?” he called out, my hand stiffened in his hair.
I slowly removed it from his hair, my body was tense, and he caught it before I could fully remove it.
“How are you?” he asked.
I didn’t know how to reply to that one, why did it matter to him? Also how did he get here?
I shrugged to let him know it wasn’t a big deal, but moving my muscles was sore.
I tried not to wince but he must have seen my expression because he suddenly stood up and started checking me.
“I’m fine Edward, just leave it. How-What are te doing here?”
He looked nervous all of sudden and started shuffling around.
“Bella, I found te in the snow,” he detto his face sombre.
My mouth opened in a little “O” shape.
“I know te detto I shouldn’t come in your life again, but Bella I could hardly leave te in the hospital da yourself. Also I’m sick, I’m sick of being away from you, needing you. Please believe me I did not baciare Tanya o have an affair with someone else. I have always, always loved you.”

My cuore stuttered at his words, they seemed so sincere, so real.
“Please Edward no più lies,” I whispered. I knew I wouldn’t live with myself if he lied some più and I believed him.
“Believe me it’s not lies, Bella, I-. Okay let me start from the beginning the first time te caught us, Tanya is really messed up, she lunged on me and te just happened to walk by.
The successivo time, I couldn’t concentrate at the apartment without you, I decided to surprise te at library,” he chuckled darkly, “Tanya cornered me and put a coltello at the bottom of my waist demanding me to baciare her, o she would hurt me and you. I never had a chance to stop her and te walked da again. I looked for te everywhere that night until I found your note in our apartment. Come back please. Tanya is behind bars and Aro,” he spat, “her father, the one who shot te is arrested too.”

My head was pounding from all the information; I just couldn’t make sense of it all.
“I don’t understand,” I whispered.
“Bella,” he whispered, kneeling successivo to my bed, “I Amore you, I have loved you. Whatever te saw was set up. I need you.”
“I don’t know.”
“I know it’s hard to trust me right now, please just think about it. Please.” He gave me a pleading look.
I nodded.
“Your mom’s coming in fifteen minutes,” he detto abruptly.
“She’s here?” I asked.
“I called as soon as they took te in surgery.” He smiled.
I sighed; it was time to reassure my mom.

It had been three weeks with me getting back with Edward; it was awkward at first but then we got back into the easy habit of relationships but I still had the insecurities.
I started talking to Alice again who was miffed with my lack of response but she was forgiving as ever.
I also found out Rosalie was dating their older brother: Emmett.

Scary looking at first, but he was actually like big teddy orso with deep curly brown hair (like their mom), 6’5 at least and thick six-pack.

I was at The Cullen’s house for Natale and my mom and her new boyfriend, Phil, was about to come in a few minutes.

I was hanging the Natale decorations, when warms hands encircled my waist.
I smiled letting my head drop against his chest, he kissed my neck slowly.
“You look beautiful,” he whispered, he turned me around to face him.
He kissed me tenderly before pointing upwards it was… Mistletoe.

Okay so what do te think? The Natale ending was unexpected it was better because I of the time right now.
