So this is my holiday gift to te all. I won't be Scrivere untill successivo Wednesday because as everyone knows, tomorrow is Natale Eve, Saturday is Christmas, and Sunday-Tuesday I will be in the moutains. Bella POV

"Wake up Momma! Wake up! It's Christmas!" Alicen was jumping on my bed.

"Ca Caus!" Alex stood up and hobbled too.

"I'm up! I'm up!" I laughed

"Christmas! Christmas!" Alicen jumped down and started skipping down the stairs.

Alex slid down the side and followed after her.

"Momma!" Alicen yelled.

"MaMa! MaMa!" Alex yelled.

I shot up out tof the bed. Hold on guys! Alex te stop right there." He was smiling at me from the stairs. "Hold Mama's hand!" He turned around to go down backwards. "Alex!" He didn't stop! "Alexander!" He finally stood up and took my hand when I reached him. "Thank you."

"Momma! Someone's at the door!" Alicen called.

"Ask who it is first." I told her when she reached the door.

"Who are you?"

I laughed at her, helping Alex down the stairs.

"The Mail Man!" she told me.

"What? On Christmas?"

"Maybe he has a present." He unlocked the door and swung it open before I could say anything.

"Merry Christmas!" I frozed. I knew that voice.

"Daddy!" Alicen screamed.

"Hi, Baby Girl."

I picked up Alex and ran down the stairs to the door.

"Edward!" I ran to him, pulling his face down so I could baciare his lips. "What are te doing here?" Kiss. "I thought-" Kiss. "You weren't going to be home-" Kiss. "Untill after New Years?" Long kiss.

"Surpries, Baby." He smiled. I could see the unshed tears.

"Dada. Dada." Alex was jumping for him in my arms.

he set down Alicen and took Alex. "Lil' Man! Oh, I missed you!"

"Ca Caus!" He pointed into the house.

"Let's go inside." Edward grabbed his bag.


Edward POV

"Have a good Christmas, Edward. Don't be a stranger." Sid, my cab driver of six years, told me as he pulled up to my house.

"Don't worry. If I ever need a cab, you'll be the first to know."

"Alright. Now get up there to your kids and your wife." He pointed out the window.

I smiled, getting out and grabbing my bag out of the tronco and closed it giving it a hit one più time as he drove away.

I looked up at my house through the falling snow. All the window's were darkened and it was still. The Natale albero was in one of the living room windows. I imagined Bella and Alicen hanging pu the trimmings and dancing around to Natale Musica with Alex. The only sound was the faint noise the snow made as it hit with the only four inches that covered the ground.

The sun was lighting the sky as it rose over the trees in the back yard.

"Momma!" Alicen's voice traveled through the house.

"MaMa! MaMa! Ca Caus!" Alex.

Alicen was now 6 years old, Alex was 16 months. Bella had sent me letters about how he was starting to talk more-one of his words was Santa Claus but it came out as Ca Caus. Leggere it, was nothing like hearing it.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and made my way up to the door. I could hear Alicen's quick footsteps down the stairs.

"Hold on guys! Alex te stop right there. Hold Momma's hand. Alex! Alexander! Thank you."

I chuckled. Just has stubborn as she was. One deep breath in and out, I knocked on the door.

"Momma! Someone's at the door!" Alicen sang.

"Doowa!" Alex's voice rang out. I could picture him pointing and looking up at Bella.

"Ask who it is first." Bella's quieter voice was muffled.

"Who are you?" I had to laugh.

I raised my voice in pitch. "The mail man!"

"The mail man!"

"What? On Christmas?" Her voice was closer.

"Maybe he has a present!" Alicen unlocked the door and swung it open.

"Merry Christmas!" I smiled and dropped my bag.

"Daddy!" She screamed and jumped into my arms.

"Hi, Baby Girl." I started to tear up.

I could hear Bella's footsteps quicken and she showed up at the door.

"Edward!" She ran to me and pulled my face down to her, baciare my lips. "What are te doing here?" Kiss. "I thought-" Kiss. "You weren't going to be home-" Kiss. "Untill after New Years?" Long kiss.

"Dada. Dada." Alex was jumping in Bella's arms.

I set Alicen down and grabbed for Alex. "Lil' Man!" I kissed his head and brought him to my chest. "Oh, I missed you!"

"Ca Caus!" He pointed into the house.

"Let's go inside." I grabbed my bag and walked into the house.

It was just as I had left it. It felt like I had never left. The tv was now playing A Natale Story, the Japanese form of [/i]Deck the Halls[/i] filled the room.

I set Alex down and he ran to the albero and Alicen who was Leggere names and placing them in piles.

"She's so smart." I wispered to Bella and pulled her to me.

She wrapped her arms around me and kissed my neck. "She get's it from you." she smiled. "I can't believe you're home. How did te get here so early?"

"I let the successivo guy down take it. Well, he offered so I could come home to te guys, I took him up on it."

"What's him name?"

"Seth Clearwater. He's from La Push."

"Well when te go back, tell him 'Thank you'."

"I'm not going back." I told her.

"What?" She pulled away a littler to look at me.

"I'm not going back. I'm here as long as te want me." I smiled.

She stood up on her toes and kissed me hard.
"I will always want you." She wispered.

"Merry Christmas." I smiled against her lips.

"Merry Christmas." She smiled back.

"Momma? Can we open our presents now?" Alicen wined.

"Yes." Bella laughed.

"Wait." I held Alicen's hand. I pulled a small wrapped box out of me pocket and handed it to her.

"Thank you." She smiled and tore into the paper and flung the lid off the little box. "Oh my gosh!" Alicen gasped and pulled out the ring. "It's a crown!"

I slid it on her finger. "Cuz' you're Daddy's little princess." I smiled and kissed her check.

"Thank you, Daddy!" She hugged my neck and ran off to her other presents.

"Lil' Man!" I yelled for Alex.

"Hu?" He ran over to me. I unziped my bag and pulled out his blanket.

"Bank!" He smiled and took it. His old blanket had gotten left behind sometime over the summer.

"Does Daddy get a hug?"

"Hu?"

"Do I get a hug?"

"Hu?"

"Come here." I laughed and pulled him in for a hug as he giggled and tucked his chin.

I set him down to go play with his bags and boxes from his gifts.

"Merry Christmas." I kissed Bella. "Again."

"Welcome home." She smiled and kissed me.
