Alex sat on the bed, letting her injured wing hand off the side, mindlessly rubbing her arms as she listened to her husband chatter away but not processing anything he said. "Alex?" The blonde shifted her eyes when her name was said. "Sorry, Jack.." She attempted to give him a reassuring smile but it ended in failure as her bottom lip quivered. "I just.. could've-" He cut her off, sitting beside her. "You done what te could. No one could ask anything more." He reached up and gently rubbed the superiore, in alto of her head before hugging her close. "You will never be anything your brother, even at your worst." He whispered, earning a nod from the blonde.
Tobias stared at his journal, rubbing the back of his head. "I don't understand.. It was supposed to fix things! He wasn't supposed to die.. Where did my vision go wrong?!" He shouted, shoving the book to the side, fists smacking against the wood desk. He hissed and stood up, grabbing his cappotto and walking out the door of his room and running down the stairs of his home. "Master, wh-" "OUT." Tobias shouted as he made his way out the door, walking to the box auto, garage and opening the door. He hopped onto the bike and fired up the engine before heading off to Cadmus.
Tristan stood out in the open, eyes closed. They only opened when Zoom appeared in front of him. "You're back, Zoom." He detto plainly, locking eyes with the speedster. "Harrasing te is no fun when you're in pain." He chuckled, arms attraversare, croce over the red emblem. "And why are te here?" He asked, a brow rose. "You've got a big storm coming, kid, and te better be ready. te think one death is tragic? Just wait until one of te loses touch with reality." He grinned, slowly backing away. "I'd hate to lose another nemesis." He laughed before running off.
Dark eyes watched as Jaime sat in the floor in front of his father's hologram, his blue eyes staring in curiosity. Chris sat behind him, stroking the toddler's hair in silence. "When is Daddy coming back..?" He asked, eyes not leaving the hologram. "Is he up there because he's a hero?" He asked, not giving Chris enough time to respond to his first question. "Yes, that's why he's there." He gave his nephew a small smile, raising a brow when Jaime got up. "Does that mean I'm gonna be one too? Since I have wings like Daddy?!" Jaime looked at his uncle in curiosity before he was dato a silent nod. The toddler soon began running around the area, giggling and laughing and chanting: "Daddy's a hero!" The older male chuckled, taking in whatever innocence the child had left. His attention however was shifted when Trystan entered the room. "Hey, holding up okay?" Trystan asked, earning a shrug. "Been better." Chris replied with a shrug. "How'd te get him in here..?" Trystan asked in a confused manner, watching Jaime. "I have my ways. Decided Devin needed a break from him.. Give her some alone time." Both looked over when Scotty entered the room. The volpe had a blanket wrapped around him, looking over at the hologram with a frown. Jaime smiled happily and ran over to the fox, hugging onto his legs before he was picked up. Scott ruffled the dark locks, resting his cheek on the toddler's head, rocking Jaime, who had already began falling asleep in his arms. Scott held the toddler against his chest before handing him off to Chris. "I have to meet with Black Canary... da the way, the body's gone."
