‘Z Nation’ Renewed For Second Season On Syfy

is coming back. Syfy announced it has picked up the zombie drama for a second season for debut in 2015. The series’ freshman 13-episode run kicked off on September 12 with 1.6 million viewers, making it the most watched show on cable in its 10 PM slot and the second best among the key demo.

lol ive watched every episode with my dad, but we watch it for fun … im shocked that it got picked up for a second season lol

This show is fun, totally not pretentious and the most outrageous thing to happen to Spokane since…well…ever. Glad it was renewed.

I am genuinely surprised. As much as I love DJ Qualls, this is absolutely Generic Zombie B-Movie : The TV Show. Maybe that’s why some people like it. O.o

It’s bad visually, but it is still the most fun of SyFy’s shows and I watch it regularly! Zombies are simply in :)

People watch The Walking Dead for the drama. They watch Z Nation for the comedy. Not really surprised it’s renewed. Scary Movie got more sequels than Scream, after all. Entertaining none-the-less.

I am a big fan of the Walking Dead, but a huge fan of Z Nation. It’s real people in real situations. Great Zombie make up and consistent with the times if you think about it. With the Ebola and all. Glad 2nd season is up and running. I just hope the dog does eat our DJ/weather guy. That would really suck. Lol

I’m actually ecstatic that it has been renewed for a second season, definitely has more laughs than walking dead. Both shows are great in their own rights, don’t think its fair to compare them just yet (since WD has had a few seasons to develop characters and plots which really embraces viewers as they feel like they know them and their story). Anyone who loves zombies and moral struggles!!, I recommend this show (be warned it does start off slow in the pilot but picks up ep 2 onwards (get to bout ep 4 before you decide if you wish to pursue it).
