A musty odor greeted the group as they arrived in the area where the pipes are located. Scruffy covered his nose and asked, "What's that awful smell?" Bridget replied, "It must be coming from up there. We'll have take the stairs to inspect it." With that, everyone went up. They then discovered the giant pipes, and there was certainly something fishy going on with them. Rosie said, "I think the smell is being emitted from inside them." Nicholas replied, "Yeah. I think so, too, love." Bridget unsealed the superiore, in alto of one of the pipes. With a shocked look, she discovered a colony of dead rats! She remarked, "Goodness gracious! These pesky vermins must have tried to make a home in these pipes. As a result, they blocked the passage of the water, which eventually resulted in the disruption." Rosie replied, "Oh, my. So that's what cut off the city's water supply!" Bridget remarked, "Yes, I believe so." John said, "I hate rats. They're nothing but a bunch of troublemakers. Anyways, we need to get rid of those corpses and clean the pipes so the water can flow smoothly again." Bridget replied, "That's right, mate!" Rosie exclaimed, "Let's get to work, everyone!" And so, the group put on their cleaning gloves, removed all of the dead rats and placed them in a big garbage bag, scrubbed and washed the inside walls of the pipes, and installed the sterilizers. Afterwards, Bridget threw the garbage bag in a nearby trash bin and sealed the pipes' tops again. Before going back to the city square, the foursome, the Beatles, and Bridget rested for a while to have a refreshing soda break. Nicholas said, "I can't wait to see the results of our mission and everyone's reaction when we return, Bridget!" Bridget replied, "I can't wait for that, too, Nicholas!"

"All right!" Exclaimed Rosie. And so, this resumed their ride through time. When they arrived at the Victorian age, the foursome discovered that they have landed at the Great Exhibition of 1851. The ride to the Renaissance was shorter compared to the last one from the present giorno to the Middle Ages, and the foursome were able to stand up as they landed. Scruffy said, "It's very classy here!" Rosie replied, "It sure is! Let's take a look around first before resuming our search." "Okie dokie!" Exclaimed Buzzy. And so, they checked out the paintings and sculptures, watched a stage show, and ate some snacks at a cafe. Rosie even got an art set, which consisted of a canvas, three paintbrushes, and small paint cans.

After about an ora of exploring, the foursome resumed their cerca for Veronica and the stolen instruments. Nicholas also got a toy sword and shield which he won after playing in one of the game stalls. The cerca eventually led them to the outskirts. Unfortunately, there was no trace of Veronica, no matter how hard they looked around. Finally, Rosie said, "Oh, well. Nothing else to find here. Shall we go to another time period?" Nicholas replied, "Yes! Let's go to the Renaissance next." Scruffy added, "Great! That's one of my preferito periods of history." "Mine, too!" Chirped Buzzy. "Okie dokie! To the Renaissance we go!" Exclaimed Rosie. She then activated the time machine again, and a new portal came out. The Friends held their hands together as they entered it for another wild ride.

The foursome landed with a loud "Oof!" as they went out of the time portal before it disappeared back into the frisbee. Rosie said, "Wow. That was quite a ride, wasn't it?" Nicholas replied, "It sure was, love." Scruffy said, "And it looks like we are now in the Middle Ages." Buzzy added, "Yeah. I don't see any tall buildings here. There's a castle, plenty of cottages, Cibo stalls, and children playing in the streets." As they walked, Rosie said, "Let's see if we can find Veronica around here. But before we do that, would te like to explore first?" Nicholas replied, "Sure!" The twins nodded in agreement. And that's just what they did.
