i need help he's very important to me....

Well, I think te need to tell him that though te care for him, it's as a bf, not love. I've been through this and know us guys don't enjoy hearing can we be just friends. I can tell te that we do get over it.
I would suggest that te find a way to talk with him and tell him how te feel. I know it will be hard for te because te don't want to hurt him. Just remember, the longer te wait to talk to him, the harder it will be on you. Also waiting to tell him might give him the idea that te have the same feelings that he does.
