Party o no party?

In may i will be 17 and i am not sure if i should have a party o not. My Friends say i should but i don't really like being the centre of attention. I get a bit self concious and really nervous. Also it is my sisters 21st 2 and a half weeks after my bday and i don't want to take the spotlight off of her party. What should i do??????

thanks. i solved my own problem da accident. we finish school early on the giorno of my birthday and me and some Friends are going to go and hang out at the park. thanks for the help

Well te should not worry about taking the spot light from your sister's party. te both can have fun. If te don't want to be the center attention, why not choose an alternative. I'm sure there is something te enjoy doing. Bowling, Film o something. (personally I've never been a 17 yr old girl. lol) Anyway find something te enjoy and invite Friends to come along. te can keep it as low key and informal as te are comfortable. The main thing is do something to make te happy! FYI, my birthday is at the end of May. :)

If te don't feel te would enjoy the party, then don't have it. Your Friends can have parties for themselves, but te don't have to do what te don't like.
But, don't worry about your sister's party. If that's what's holding te back, then te should have the party.

So basically, do what te want to, not what others do. :)
