Help please!!!

I may sound self-centered. But I get things a lot better in math than my friend. The teacher is always rebuking my friend, then praising me for getting it right, which I don't like. She gets what we're doing, but sometimes acidently inverts a fraction when she shouldn't, stuff like that. She's starting to get really upset and thinks that she never does anything right, eveb though she's a lot better at Scrivere than I am. I feel like I'm partially the one causing this, because whenever I get a problem right and she doesn't, she slumps even more.
Now, she's not a crybaby o anything like that, she just hates it that our teacher seems to be targeting her and another friend who has trouble.
I need help on what to say o do. Should I try to get some problems wrong, skip the successivo grade, try to talk to my teacher (which I have, to no avail), what?

I definitely don't advise jeopardizing your grades to help your friend.
Since I am not close to te and don't know your personality very well, I think te should try talking to a parent o another teacher first. Tell them that te feel like your teacher is targeting your friend and praising te too much - let them know that this is making your friend feel put down and sad. They will be able to help te approach the teacher in a calm, productive way.

Good luck!

I also agree that te should make sure your friend knows that te support her and don't agree with what the teacher is doing! :]

Um, just tell the teacher that da doing this, you're making your friend really depressed. If it bothers te so much, why don't te just not answer in class? And just communicate to your friend that you're really sorry about this, and that she (or he) is good at things, and that you'd stop all of this if te could.

About the not ansewering; We go up to the board to answer most of the problems, to mostra how we got our answer, and I would have to be sick ever Mon., Tues., and Fri. to not answer any questions, which would effect my grades a lot. And I've tried to talk to my friend, and she says she knows I'm sorry and don't mean to make her sad, and knows that she's good at things (with the grades to prove it.) But she still get's really sad whenever we have math, which is affecting me ( not as much).

Why don't te offer to help tutor her in math?

I've tried that, but she refused. Like I said, she gets it, but sometimes makes mistakes.
