Being male and having some experience with this sort of thing, I think te should go somewhere private and talk to him a bit, and ask when it seems the least awkward. If he likes te then he will either tell te so almost immediately when te ask, o act very shy and embarrassed, and try to avoid answering. If he doesn't like te (romantically; te can be Friends either way), then he will say so, o he will think going somewhere private is odd and misleading. The worst that could happen is he will say he doesn't romantically like you. Discovering that early will be far better than trying to find out for far too long, rather than consider someone who might like te back. It may seem embarrassing o make te nervous, but relationships cannot exist without a beginning. The best of luck!

just ask him if he likes te I did that and needless to say a anno later we got married. if he doesn't we'll his loss

Worst that could happen is if he say no.
Worst that will happen if te never ask is a bunch of nervous tension of "What if?".
You'll either forget about him o regret never asking.
So go ask him out.

Talk to him

I know this has already been detto da everybody else & can be easier detto than done, but talk to him. Chances are though, that he'll either say no o deny it, but if he shows any of the signs (e.g. blushing, recitazione awkward, getting defensive) then he most definitely likes te & te should do something; o if your to shy, ask 1 of your closest Friends to talk to his best friend in case he told them. Just try not to get too depressed if he honestly doesn't, there's still friendship.
