Believe it o not, I lay awake some nights just thinking
about such things. I am a lover of the series as a whole, admitting of course that there are highs and lows as there are bound to be in any long creative endeavor.
The first in the series was fairly clean of any glaring errors that I could note. Allowing Kane back on the ship with the Facehugger on him was sorta stupid, but had it not happened there would be no story so we must let it slide.
For Aliens, I can say that I think that Ripley was just a bit naive it accepting Burke's assurances but again, had she not, there would be no story.
Towards the end, after Ripley blows the Alien Queen out into spazio there is no indication ( at least not on-screen ) that there are any più Aliens IN ANY FORM left aboard the Sulaco. SO, when she, Newt, Hicks, and what's left of Bishop are set up aboard the EEV unit of the SULACO we should be reasonably sure that they are alone and SAFE.
I've never been quite sure just how the Sulaco made it to Fury 161 at which time apparently some onboard fuoco caused the ejection of the EEV which found its' way to the surface of Fury 161.
There begins Alien3 where, among other things. Ripley discovers that she has an Alien Queen embryo growing inside her. The presence of which she explains da saying that she must have been 'violated' during hypersleep. Violated HOW? da What ? Obviously a Facehugger whose presence aboard the EEV CANNOT BE EXPLAINED AWAY.
The only Alien ever aboard Sulaco was the Alien Queen who was blown into spazio before she had any chance to infect any other part of the ship ( in particular the EEV UNIT )
Did a writer conveniently accomplish this to sposta the story inoltrare, avanti in the direction they wanted ?? Sounds ludicrous, doesn't it? but what other REAL EXPLANATION has ever been put forth ??
Moving on to Alien Resurrection - my concerns are
with the cloning process. At the end of Alien 3 nothing was shown about gathering any blood samples which may have been taken da that Medical Officer and "Kept on ice". And one must make a really LONG STRETCH OF FAITH" that any DNA samples from this blood wood include
the Alien Queen embryo growing inside Ripley.
I have further doubts that a Ripley Clone would be
so complete as to include Nail Polish which is shown as she is breaking her way out of that translucent sac !
