Does anyone know anything about Paula Abdul quitting?

I read on yahoo how she was quitting because of a contract deal... The reason I heard on Tv was she was only going to get 5 millon dollars and Kara DioGuardi would get 12 millon but im not sure if its true. Plz say if te know more?

Whatever the reasons are, I'm just really super sad that the new season will be without her. Normally these things are contract related, but I just want her back on the show! I'm thinking that something good will happen for Paula in 2010!
