Do te know any Death Note symbolisms?

Just curios about it. Because i've noticed a couple of symbolisms while watching Death Note and i wanna know more.:)

It doesnt have any symbolism. o also. thats what Tsugumi Ohba thinked at book 13 how to read. Takashi Obata thought that a mela, apple was a symbol for Death Note but thats not what in Tsugumis mind when she writed that. she just wanted ryuk to eat something that Suits Ryuks mouth. XC
