The first thing that came to mind was when Kaiba and Siegfried were dueling. Siegfried told Kaiba that in order to use the effect of his dragon, he had to pay 1000 Life Points, and he told Kaiba that he couldn't afford it. Kaiba risposte (in the dub), "There's nothing I can't afford."

The first thing I thought of was Erza (Fairy Tail) challenging 100 mosters in the Grand Magic Games (pandemonium) ^-^

First thing that came to mind was the village being attacked in the first episode of Ninja Scroll TV. The "Light Maiden" found out all those dufusses who surrounded her were really powerful warriors all along. Then they all died anyways. And she was sad ='(.
