Even though Zoro and Sanji are always at each other's throats they are deeply loyal and honorable shipmates to each other. They are also true, noble, and honorable pirates. complessivamente, generale they both mostra the true spirit and essence of being pirates as well as honoring and following the pirates' code of honor

In the future Trunks was knocked out da Gohan before going to face the androids. Gohan knew that he would probably be killed and he wanted Trunks to live on to be the last of their race.

Gohan was killed da the androids in that time dimension and Trunks lived on to travel back in the past to save the world. So not only did he save Trunks da his sacrifice but he saved the hope for a better future.
