ciao guys ! Today I'll be reviewing another Anime I just finished called DokiDoki! PreCure! Now, this is only the secondo PreCure season I've seen, and it's thought of da many members of the fandom as one of the worst seasons (the reason will most likely be clear later), but I will say that I really liked it. Remember, PreCure seasons can be watched in any order!!

The theme for this season was Card Suits. Aida Mana and her class go on a field trip to a newly constructed tower. While they are there, a monster attacks. After gaining the power to defeat the monster, Mana and the others have to help Cure Sword to find her Lost princess and return her home back to its original state.

As usual, we're going to start with music! The theme song was super cute and fitting for the show, and the ending theme songs were just. Incredible okay. I'll get into the ending songs più later. I especially loved how sometimes during dramatic moments when the girls had to transform they kept the dramatic OST instead of the standard transformation music. It gave everything a lot più meaning. The only complaint I really have about it is not hearing our idol character, Makopi, sing more. We only hear two songs, and her first song we hear maybe five secondi of and it doesn't sound all that good (probably because it's just background noise and i could hardly hear her actual voice. her secondo song was very pretty.)

The Musica gets 8.5/10 Cure Lavies!

When it comes to the art in this show, it's either excellent o terrible. Most of the time it's great and cute but sometimes it just looks creepy and weird, especially when it's from an odd angle. I Amore the faces though, and the eye style seems very fitting for the show. The other complaint about the art I have is a few of the hair designs. Like... Who picked this and why. But, of course, they all look awesome in the CGI ending songs. If you're on the fence about watching, just check out one of the ending songs. The CGI is great.

The art gets 7/10 Cure Lavies

This mostra has a big problem. That problem is character development. Thankfully, I was able to get attached to characters, but it seemed as though the writers didn't care about any of them besides Mana and shoved in più plot/plot twists that didn't make sense to make up for it. The amount of plot holes and things that really make absolutely no sense are... overwhelming. Even the episodes that were supposed to focus on the other cures always had Mana as the star. Plus, we get even less from my preferito cure, Cure Rosetta, since she doesn't go to their school. Things get even worse for the other girls (Well, at least Sword gets some development. Not that much, but a little.) when Cure Ace joins in. te hardly see anything from Rosetta and Diamond (And again, this also happens to Sword sometimes) other than them talking about how much they like Mana!

The characters probably deserve 6/10 Cure Lavies. I loved them but the only one I feel like I really know is Mana.

Overall? I would give this mostra 7/10 Cure Lavies.

So, if you're a fan of action, magic, and a bit of drama, I highly recommend checking it out ! Though it has flaws, I really enjoyed it. Heck, one of the characters (Regina) is one of my preferito Anime girls of all time! My preferito of the Cures, as I said, is Rosetta. My preferito Villain is probably Ira, though I just adore Marmo.
