​Ashton Irwin off of 5 Seconds of Summer drummer fame\'s always been pretty open about mental health issues and that fact that, in reality, touring all the time can take its toll on him. Well now he\'s revealed something that really helps with the anxiety he sometimes suffers; saying the answer\'s chatting to other musicians in similar situations.

Yup - Ashton reckons that he and fellow punk rock-types \'get each other,\' which means he always has someone to vent to whenever things don\'t, um, sound good or feel good.

Having a chinwag with Sydney\'s Daily Telegraph, Ash said: "The best thing about living in LA is you get to meet a lot of drummers and you find they share the same mentality and their own unique way of playing. There\'s things you can get involved with, based around the Sunset Strip, playing covers with other musicians and it\'s inspiring to hang out and learn off them. 

"Musicians just get each other and that makes me feel a little more sane.When I feel a little lost, I talk to other musicians who have been on this ride with a band for a while and it helps.​"​

This all comes after Ashton recently opened up about his depression on the Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour, telling The Daily Telegraph: "​I told Luke \'I\'m f***ing depressed, I f***ing hate this, we\'ve been on tour for five months, I\'m living out of this piece of s*** suitcase with only three wheels on it.\'"
