Here are the hard facts direct from the Official Avatar Facebook page: link There will be a bare Bones 2-D DVD and Blu-Ray release on April 22nd. And then an "ultimate" edition release in November.
The 2-D DVD will come out probably on Earth giorno like Craftsman said. But the 2-D will come out first and probably somewhere around autumn the 3-D will come out.

Not really. This seems like the perfect time. Cameron himself detto it in an interview. I would provide te a link but I can't find it. te will have to do some research if te really want to know.
actually James Cameron announced that it is coming out earlier then u think in an interview! It will probaly come out in mid April!!! and i'm not bluffing!!:)
