When Avril Lavigne splashed onto the scene eight years ago, the punk princess fueled her angsty, rebellious image with a pop-rock sound that had fan hooked. Avril doing a new movie?

According to imdb (Internet Movie Data Base), Avril Lavigne is going to be voicing a character called Shelly in the new upcoming animazione movie called "Ice Age: Continental drift".

There hasn't been very much information about this however there has been an image floating around the internet recently (see below).

The movie is due out on the 13th of July 2012 so we still have a while to wait.

Do te think it's just a rumour o do te think this news is real?
