Honestly, her. Her voice is so annoying in every language I've watched the movie. And I must say that I like Philippe, and that he's voiced by Tim Curry, so why hate him?

Yep! He's a main character in the movie. Without him there isn't any plot as well.

I don't think it's fair to say that Madame de Bosse wasn't useful. I don't like her personality at all, but she DID hire Corinne, which helped her to meet - and, more importantly, befriend - the other girls and Helene. Heck, even her personality serves some purpose; she's so awful, it makes it even better when she meets her downfall (that scene at the end, with her being bossed around by Helene, is great).

To be honest, I don't hate either of them. Philippe's great, too. I just don't think Madame de Bosse is THAT bad or useless.

Well, your point is really good. I hate to say it, but Corinne owes to Madame de Bosee a lot. I must also say that yes, she's useful, indeed. Ehm... let's leave the fact that Madame de Bosee is irritating. Corinne couldn't perhaps achieve to become a musketeer without her prevention in the whole movie.

Love Philippe's villainy style ^^ And even in the book I prefer Philippe over Louis!
