Bedknobs and Broomsticks was released theatrically on December 13, 1971. It's a hybrid film, meaning it contains both live-action and animation. Bedknobs and Broomsticks features Musica da the Sherman Brothers, who also wrote the Musica for Mary Poppins. The two Film also share a director, a few actors, and some of the same crew. Bedknobs and Broomsticks was never quite able to break out of Mary Poppins' shadow, but I like to think that even though B&B has a smaller fanbase, we make up for it with our enthusiasm.
