did anybody else get irrataited with dawn?

I've heard of a lot of fan annoyed da Dawn, some even hating her. I don't know, the charachter was just ranging from fine to cute for me. I can see some old fan may complain about the genesis of the charachter, which can appear a little bit forced o plot driven. Moreover, the initial representation of Dawn being the sterotypical pre-adolescent all whiny and centerself sure wasn't of help to win fan appreciation over her.
In my opinoin, the carachter blends just perfectly with the flow of events and was a really brilliant idea to introduce her in S5. Also, the step da step development of the storyline about her being the key was amazing.
On the other hand, analyzing Dawn herself, she has a significant growth in S6 and S7. Sure the mournful events (the death of Joyce, Buffy's breakdown, the lack of a fatherly figure) legitimate her behaviour in S5 and S6: she was only a bit più than a child being totally torn from inside, and the pain just showed. Really realistic and thought out.

I didn't "hate" Dawn. I think she was just treated younger than she was. I think she whines a lot because she doesnt have the power everyone else has.

The only time I got irritated with her was when she kicked buffy out of her house but otherwise she is epic.

yes!.......no let me rephrase that, I don't get irritated da her I HATE her! I have many reasons but if I tried putting them I'd end up ranting so i'll leave it at this

I actually liked Dawn, especially later on in the mostra when she gets less whiny. Besides her and Buffy's relationship reminded me a bit of me and my little sister.

She irritated me in the earlier seasons that she was in (5-6)....but Seven I liked her in a lot. più grown up...and not as whiny.

I certainly don't hate her but she did irritate me at times, she put too much pressure on Buffy and it wasn't fair. Though the only time I've disliked Dawn as a character is when she betrayed Buffy (season 7) when she kicked her out of the house with the others.

wen u guys say that u hate dawn its like saying u hate buffy, remember wen buffy detto dawn is più than her sis dawn is her, the monks made dawn out of buffy, so if i was u i would rephrase that sentence about hating dawn, cause ur sayin that u hate buffy wen u say u hate dawn!
