Walking out of the kitchen, with a piece of frollino, shortcake topped with a lush red strawberry, the world's greatest detective heads over to his preferito seat. Beautiful, priceless, and something I want to destroy and fuck hard afterwards out of Amore for it!" a psychotic voice speaks from behind a half closed door from a room so dark, no light can escape out once it enters inside. The only thing te can see in the enclosed area is a pair of crimson eyes that is filled with madness, both in high intelligence and insane thoughts.
"And te are precious to me too." Lawliet tells him in his translated version.
B then slowly opens the door, the man looking exactly like L, while having an out-of-place frown on his face. "It's a shame that te know all my tricks. All I want to do is defeat and surpass you, my beloved one."
"Exactly, which is why te are one person who could never bore me." The emotionless one tells his lover as he finishes munching on his cake.
Beyond's eyes grow big as a devilish smirk replaces his frown. He swiftly gets on all fours and crawls over to L, placing his hands on the armrest and peeking over the edge.
"There must be something te are mediocre in. There has to be something out there! ANYTHING!!!" the madly obsessed man says to his "lighter-half".
"Possibly, but since te are so determined to try and find it, B.B., I suggest looking at the places te yourself have never tried before." L informs him with a small grin.

"Near is L's number one successor… but there is nothing on Near that L hasn't done already. He behaves too much like my Lawlipop. It wouldn't work with him. Plus I don't want an albino version of L around me… o do I? I'll save that for another time. KEHEHE! Then there is the secondo successor, Mello. I like his ruthlessness, but L can be just as ruthless as him in his own way. And his Amore of Cioccolato is still in the sweets category; my Lawlipop would have no problem with that challenge either. FUCK! L's too magnificent! Damn him… and damn me… hmmm… there is the third successor Matt is very different from the others, but he is still one of us. His obsessions are smoking and video games…"
B then found his realization as it hit him as suddenly as lightning; eyeballs growing twice as big while his fragola marmellata began dripping down his mouth.
"… VIDEO GAMES! I never heard Lawliet mention ever playing them… o even attempting to play those electronic things at any time in my life! I believe I finally found something I can exceed my Amore in!"
Beyond has a demented twinkle in his shinigami eyes as he lets out a gigantic, hysterically insane laugh.
"KYAHAHAHA WOOHOHOHO HAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!"
L quickly turns his head and stares boldly at his mad lover, in the same way as an owl looks intently from a sudden noise.
"Stumbled upon a revelation?" L asks in a sarcastic yet calm manner.
"Affirmative! In fact, my delicious Lawlipop, we are going to visit that Wammy Gameboy… RIGHT NOW!"

Matt pauses his game after hearing someone knocking on his front door and heads over to it, taking his time doing so. Once he unlocked the door, Matt got startled when B suddenly lunges at him, grabbing hold of his shirt, which made him drop his cigarette from out of his mouth and onto the floor.

"Arg! It's in the superiore, in alto shelf!" Matt rushes as he nods his head in the direction of the kitchen.
Beyond lets go of Matt and sprints to the kitchen, looking in all the superiore, in alto shelves for the jam. "Guns aren't my thing, but whatever it takes to outdo my Amore is fine da me." B puts across.
Matt then begins setting up his game as Lawliet and Beyond take their places on the couch, sitting exactly the same way. The "goggled-gamer" hands the controllers over to the couple, explaining what each button does before having to play against each one another.

Matt, who is becoming bored again, jumps in on their conversation. "Hey, if it's alright da you, B and L, I want to go against te two." He tells them, having a good-natured approach and smile.

"Wait! Let me go first… I want to take on Matt and his so-called 'skills'." B says as he calms himself down to the same state as L.
"I accept your challenge, Beyond, but brace yourself!" Matt tells him with cunning.
As two of L's successor's battled electronically, Lawliet became intrigued to watch them play as the many noises coming out of the Televisione echoed the room again.
BOOM! CLICK! BANG!
B gritted his teeth, mostrare his frustration against the very experienced gamer, cussing out a bunch of bad words as Matt, who was still being his laid-back self, kept on killing and killing B's character until their match concluded.
'END GAME. PLAYER ONE WINS!' the screen informs the players.
"NOOO! This is even worse than when my Lawlipop triumphs over me!" Beyond bellows, out of hurt and loss, while he begins to shows signs he's about to do a crazy-man's tantrum from his seizure-like spasms.

Even in his twisted mind, B.B. still had a tiny little soft spot for things such as this. And because of this, he gives his dearest Lawliet another tight hug around his torso, looking like he wanted to be held back. The Amore of his life sees the hint and complies with his "wonderful-and-paranoid one" as he wraps his arms around him.
At the same time, Matt only looked at them for a secondo and already couldn't handle the lovey-dovey atmosphere from the couple anymore. So instead he sets up a new match for his turn against L, which Lawliet notices him doing.
"Okay B, te can let of me now. I have a chance to go head-to-head against one of my young successors in his preferito hobby."
"Fine, but this is, and might be, the only time I am rooting for te to win." Beyond tells his "panda-bear" in a neutral way while he loosens his grip on his lover.

"I will root for you." Lawliet informs, but from how he articulated it, no one could tell whether he meant it o not.
"Oh, wow! That is quite an honor!" the red-head grins, placing his hand behind his head. "But watch out, L! I'm still not holding back on you." He continues, mostrare his cockiness.
"I believe you." L adds in, right before their first match as two opponents begins. And once again, the sound effects of a mock gun battle rang throughout the area.

Neither Matt o L showed any emotion during the game-play. Matt again keep getting many points from kills as L did what he thought was best. When the competition between Matt and L finished, the same words appear on the bright glow of the HD screen.

"Yup, that's what years and years of playing the art of video games gave me." Matt says, just messing about along with him.

It hurt L to see his darling B go down on his dream like that. Even though he didn't want to back down his mind-games and mysterious challenges and be defeated, a part of Lawliet, the part that loves Beyond, didn't want to see his lover lose in his ultimate goal either. They both knew it was a tough position to be in, and neither one will not try and want get out of, based on hating to lose and also on their unconditional love.

Clink Clink Clink… BOOM!
"Gotcha right where I want you!" the goggle-wearing gamer says to his A.I. opponent as he continues working out his fingers on the game controller.
Knock, Knock, Knock!
Matt pauses his game after hearing someone knocking on his front door and heads over to it, taking his time doing so. Once he unlocked the door, Matt got startled when B suddenly lunges at him, grabbing hold of his shirt, which made him drop his cigarette from out of his mouth and onto the floor.
"WHERE IS YOUR JAM!? I NEED IT THIS INSTANT!!!" He orders the red-haired lad in a loud, panicking expression.
"Arg! It's in the superiore, in alto shelf!" Matt rushes as he nods his head in the direction of the kitchen.
Beyond lets go of Matt and sprints to the kitchen, looking in all the superiore, in alto shelves for the jam. He finally finds the "berry treasure" as he quickly unfastens the top, scoops his hand in, and starts licking and eating it away, recitazione like he hadn't eaten marmellata in months. Matt fixes up his camicia and steps on his now-worthless cigarette as L casually strolls inside.
"I apologize for B's actions, Matt. te know how he gets with his one and only Cibo craving."
"Oh, yeah, it's no prob at all. I deal with the same thing with Mello's Cioccolato addiction." Matt chuckles.
"Speaking of Mello, where is he?" Lawliet wonders.
"He left for some kind of mission that has to do with taking down Near… again. He didn't need me to go with him this time, so I'm just chillin' here. I think he'll be gone for a while."
"Typical Mello." L adds, with no emotion in his emphasis.
"So what brings te guys over?" Matt asks with curiosity, at the same time lighting up a new cigarette.
"We… well I came here with a purpose…" B risposte Matt, while still eating out of the jar. "… and that purpose is to surpass my beloved Lawlipop in something he has never done before. And this… mmm… good jam… AND THIS is where te come in!"
"Me?" the "striped-smoker" asks, pointing to his own self.
"Yes, L and I need to play one of your video games." B finishes with a determined look in his body language.
Matt was baffled after hearing what Beyond told him as he showed it in his eyes, but since he always has his goggles on, it was very hard for B.B o L to notice. And it was also because Matt still maintained his unruffled composure through it all.
"Okay, I don't mind te guys playing my games. But please have your hands clean before te play, B.B. Last thing I need is my equipment breaking down from being drenched in jam. Video games are all I got to kill this boredom of mine."
"HAHEHAHA! I won't ruin your precious games. Think of it as a token of appreciation from te letting me eat your marmellata without any hassle coming out of you." Beyond says with a sly smile, placing the empty jar on a nearby tavolo and heads over to the sink to wash his hands from any remaining saliva and jam.
"Um… alright, cool!" Matt says to him with a little hesitation.
"Good, then our challenge is set." The world's greatest detective tells his "psycho-lover".
"Perfect… KYAHAHAHA!!!" B.B. chuckles with madness.
Matt just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on his face as he tries to ignore his hysterical laugh. "So what of kind of game do te wanna play? Shooter? R.P.G.? Platform? Sports? Racing? M.M.O.R.P.G.?"
"What in-the-hell kind of games are those!?" the "copy" says out, face partly warped.
"Matt, te can choose which type of video game te think is best." Lawliet clears up on B's behalf.
"Okay, well… I think the best genre for the two of te to play would probably be a shooter. And believe me; I have plenty of shooter games to choose from." The die-hard gamer says with a grin.
"Alright, then a shooter game it is!" L tells his dear Beyond with some enthusiasm on playing his first video game.
"Guns aren't my thing, but whatever it takes to outdo my Amore is fine da me." B puts across.
Matt then begins setting up his game as Lawliet and Beyond take their places on the couch, sitting exactly the same way. The "goggled-gamer" hands the controllers over to the couple, explaining what each button does before having to play against each one another.
"… and 'X' is to jump." Matt concludes.
"Ah, sounds simple enough. Thank you!" L tells him with some gratitude implied in his tone.
"Good! Enough stalling! Let's PLAY!" Beyond impatiently tells them.
"Fair enough, B. Come and get me!" says a teasing Lawliet.
"Now that's più like! I Amore your gusto, L. It's quite a turn-on for me!"
"Uh… B.B., maybe te should keep your mind the game…" Matt adds in.
"URGH! Damn you, Lawlipop!" the shinigami-eyed male says hysterically while L gives a tiny smirk to himself.
Matt grabs some chips and soda to munch on while watching "the original" and "the copy" square-off in the shooter game. It lasted for quite sometime, listening to nothing but war-time sound effects and the occasional cussing from Beyond, with each lover being the same as the other in just about the whole thing. This series of ties was beginning to aggravate Beyond.
"FUCK! This is getting me nowhere! We are too equally matched in everything!" he roars out during the game-play and unexpectedly puts L into a tight hug. "Why must te drive me this way, my darling?" he then whispers in Lawliet's ear.
"Beyond, maybe this just wasn't the right approach in trying to be greater than me." L attempts in comforting him as he gives him a soft hug back.
Matt, who is becoming bored again, jumps in on their conversation. "Hey, if it's alright da you, B and L, I want to go against te two." He tells them, having a good-natured approach and smile.
"That sounds enjoyable. I'm in." Lawliet says to him with a tad of cheeriness.
"Wait! Let me go first… I want to take on Matt and his so-called 'skills'." B says as he calms himself down to the same state as L.
"I accept your challenge, Beyond, but brace yourself!" Matt tells him with cunning.
As two of L's successor's battled electronically, Lawliet became intrigued to watch them play as the many noises coming out of the Televisione echoed the room again.
BOOM! CLICK! BANG!
B gritted his teeth, mostrare his frustration against the very experienced gamer, cussing out a bunch of bad words as Matt, who was still being his laid-back self, kept on killing and killing B's character until their match concluded.
'END GAME. PLAYER ONE WINS!' the screen informs the players.
"NOOO! This is even worse than when my Lawlipop triumphs over me!" Beyond bellows, out of hurt and loss, while he begins to shows signs he's about to do a crazy-man's tantrum from his seizure-like spasms.
"Calm down, my wild love. It's okay. It's not the end of the world." L sweet-fully utters to him.
Even in his twisted mind, B.B. still had a tiny little soft spot for things such as this. And because of this, he gives his dearest Lawliet another tight hug around his torso, looking like he wanted to be held back. The Amore of his life sees the hint and complies with his "wonderful-and-paranoid one" as he wraps his arms around him.
At the same time, Matt only looked at them for a secondo and already couldn't handle the lovey-dovey atmosphere from the couple anymore. So instead he sets up a new match for his turn against L, which Lawliet notices him doing.
"Okay B, te can let of me now. I have a chance to go head-to-head against one of my young successors in his preferito hobby."
"Fine, but this is, and might be, the only time I am rooting for te to win." Beyond tells his "panda-bear" in a neutral way while he loosens his grip on his lover.
"Well thank te for that. I appreciate it coming out of you, Beyond." L lets him know, with a small amount of contentment sprinkled all over it.
"What… no one's rooting for me?" Matt says out jokingly.
"I will root for you." Lawliet informs, but from how he articulated it, no one could tell whether he meant it o not.
"Oh, wow! That is quite an honor!" the red-head grins, placing his hand behind his head. "But watch out, L! I'm still not holding back on you." He continues, mostrare his cockiness.
"I believe you." L adds in, right before their first match as two opponents begins. And once again, the sound effects of a mock gun battle rang throughout the area.
CLINK! POW POW! WOOSH!
Neither Matt o L showed any emotion during the game-play. Matt again keep getting many points from kills as L did what he thought was best. When the competition between Matt and L finished, the same words appear on the bright glow of the HD screen.
'END GAME. PLAYER ONE WINS!'
"Matt, te are indeed the master of gaming." L congratulates him lightheartedly.
"Yup, that's what years and years of playing the art of video games gave me." Matt says, just messing about along with him.
"NOOOOOOO!!! I'M THE ONE THAT WANTED TO DEFEAT L!" Beyond shouts out with disappointment and fury that stems from both how he feels on himself and on his Lawliet too. "Why must this happen to me?" He then whispers softly to himself.
It hurt L to see his darling B go down on his dream like that. Even though he didn't want to back down his mind-games and mysterious challenges and be defeated, a part of Lawliet, the part that loves Beyond, didn't want to see his lover lose in his ultimate goal either. They both knew it was a tough position to be in, and neither one will not try and want get out of, based on hating to lose and also on their unconditional love.
"Hey L, he's not gonna hurt me, is he?" Matt asks, feeling a bit anxious.
"No, I will make sure that he doesn't." Lawliet replies, giving Matt his word as he begins to tend to B's needs.
"My beloved B.B., the video games just wasn't part of your destiny. It's a silly thought anyways; trying to surpass the world's greatest detective in an electronic game system that even a 3 anno old can play. te are better than that. So far te have been a very worthy opponent to me and whether I like it o not, te might find your destiny before te know it. Keep your chin, okay? te know I Amore you." And soon after he finishes his mini speech, Lawliet holds B's chin delicately, giving him a soft baciare on his cold jam-tasting lips.
A rush of adrenaline and hormones surges through Beyond's body. "When we get home, I am going to tear your skin, pour fragola sauce all over your flesh, and tear te apart!"
Then he instantly grabs L's face and pulls him into a big kiss; sticking his tongue into his hot mouth as he wrestles and explores him thoroughly and sloppily.
"Ewww! Gross! Get a room te two!" Matt expresses with disgust, not facing at them at all. "Just not a room here..." He joshes them.
"Sounds like a plan. Let's go back to our place, Beyond." L graciously says.
"YES!" B.B. shrieks in a creepy delight as he gets up hastily and runs rapidly through the room, almost breaking the door off its hinges as he opens it abruptly and continues sprinting out the apartment complex.
At the same time, Matt puts out his cigarette in the ashtray, finishing another stick to its end. "Going to get lucky today I see!" he obviously states.
"I get lucky everyday, so I must go before he loses his charge. Thank te for letting us keep te company and settling our challenge."
And as L stands up, Matt realizes the hidden object from his last sentence. "You knew te and B would be evenly matched in video games."
"Of course. He and I never played them before; therefore we'd most likely be about the same, skills-wise. Besides, because I went along with it, I ended up having fun today, and I don't get much of that."
Lawliet continues to the front door, placing his hands in his baggy pants pocket. He stops at the doorway, standing there with his back to Matt, giving him one last word.
"It was good seeing te again, Matt. Give my regards to Mello."
"I will, L. See te later then! Have fun with B!" Matt tells him in good humor.
At that moment, Lawliet turns his head around to gaze upon Matt while a playful smirk grows across his face "Oh yes, I most certainly will. He is a great and passionate lover."
"Okay, now te are giving me too much information!" says Matt, grossed out once again.
"I'm sorry about that, but I can't help it when he gets freaky on me." L gives Matt one last tease before turning his head back frontward and leisurely walking outside to meet with his love.
Matt goes to the front and lazily looks at the "love-birds" before closing the door. He takes a sede, sedile on the divano while taking out a lighter and a new cigarette. The "striped-smoker" lights up his new stick as he gets in a comfortable position.
"Man, Amore sure does make people insane beyond repair."
