For all the people who want a happy articolo about Christmas, I'm sorry to let te down, and maybe I'm a little pessimistic but now I'm getting older this is how I think about Christmas:

Five years fa (I was nine) I was sitting in my aunts car on Natale Eve, and we were talking about a tv mostra in Holland called 'all te need is love'
I don't know if te know, o have the mostra in America but the tv mostra is about people who get unexpected visits from people that they love, and then, for one night, they can forget all their problems and enjoy Chrismas Eve together. I thought that it was a silly show, they have a great day, but when the great giorno is over, they still have their problems.
My aunt (who was married to my uncle) thought that it was a great mostra and she was saying things like 'all te need is love' and 'I'm so glad that I've found realy love'
A couple months later, my uncle got a new girlfriend and my uncle and aunt got divorced.

I'm thinking about this now, because my uncle is coming, today, for Christmas, to have cena with us, but I know that my aunt (and the two children that my uncle and my aunt have) is still sad and that she will have a lousy Christmas.

And that brings me to my problem: how can te be happy at Natale while te know that a lot of people are sad. Everyone is happy at Christmas, people say but te know that that is not true.
A lot of people pretend that they are having fun with Natale and that they are happy. But te know that after the 'happy days' like Natale and New anno they're still unhappy, just like they were during Natale and New Year. No stupid holiday can change that.

Maybe I thought about this way to much, and I know that te are suppose to enjoy Natale and that te are suppose to have fun. And I think that I will try to be happy, but, tonight, when I'm sitting at the tavolo during the Natale dinner, while my uncle and his new girlfriend are making jokes,I will think about my aunt and her two kids who will pretend that they have a 'great' Christmas.

P.S: This is my first soapbox article, and my English is not so good, I've tried to make no mistakes in the grammar, but I'm shure that there are lot of mistakes, sorry.

P.P.S: Merry Natale to everyone!
