"Nice shot Rico!" Private was skating around, watching Rico's target practice on the ninja pins. Rico beamed, and fired another shot, knocking the head clean off the pin. When Private applauded again, Rico smiled, but then frowned and held a flipper to his lips.
"What is it, Rico? Do te hear something?" Private whispered. Rico started nodding, and looked around, as to see where the noise was coming from. They started following it, but their cerca was immediately interrupted da a shout. CRASH!!
"Rico, what do te think that crash was?" Rico just shrugged his shoulders and walked a little further. "Rico! We can't just abandon that noise!" Rico sighed, and turned towards Private. "That's the spirit Rico! Now let's head towards that noise!
"Well now we have no hq, Blowhole has a deadly weapon, and Rico and Private aren't here! So what are we gonna do, Skipper?" Kowalski started freaking out.
"Don't te worry about Rico and Private, they'll be fine. They've dealt with Blowhole before. But how are we supposed to be able to find him? I hope te have a sweet option for me Kowalski!"
"Well, I propose we go back into the sewers and cerca for Rhonda. If we can interrogate her a bit, maybe we could get some answers."
"I'm not feeling it, but I guess we have no other choice, back into the sewer it is." So they climb back into the sewer and start searching for Rhonda. It wasn't too long before they heard the horrible singing.
"Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the ball game..."
"Follow that sound, on my lead!" Skipper ordered. For what seemed like days they followed that sound. It echoed off of every wall, it came from every direction. Once, Skipper swore he could see two flashes of white on the other side of the sewer, but denied himself. He was tired after all.
Kowalski thought he heard the fonte of it, so they headed off again. But as they were waddling along the concrete, Skipper heard a crunch beneath his feet, and the Canto stopped.
"Aww, of all the rotten luck... What is this thing anyway?" Skipper was instantly mad at himself.
"Hmm, it looks like a tape recorder. But why would a tape recorder..." Kowalski slaps himself in the face. "Of course! Someone recorded Rhonda Canto to lure us into the sewer!"
"Or maybe to lure us away from the hq! Quickly, we've got to get back to the zoo!"
