How do we do this?

PPL from the US can join the contest. I'm not sure we from the rest of the world can answer the question.

I'm totally doing it! Everyone send an email telling LJ Smith that Bonnie needs to end up with Damon, and add plenty of reasons (but remember, we're talking about the books Bonnie here, not the tv Bonnie)

Unfortunately, I’m afraid I’m going to have to confine this contest to readers in the United States, just because I had so much difficulty mailing prizes to other countries. Sorry about that—maybe I’ll be able to find a solution in the next contest.

Let's do it like that: the ones who live in the US are able to join the contest. So you send her the e-mail with BONNIE’S OPAL RING in the Subject Field and your opinion in the message.

We all who live in the rest of the world can organize this way: we'll send her an e-mail with BONNIE SHOULD END UP WITH DAMON in the Subject Field. In the message we write why we have this opinion and where we live, so she'll understand why we are not in the contest.

Uluai is going to do something like that, and I figured if we organize, we'll have more chances to be heard.

Well I dont live in the US either (so I cant enter either, an I was the one who 'spawned' the idea of the contest), but I sent her an email anyway yesterday an she sent me a reply so she defo know's who I would vote for ;).

I can't help it--I just can't exclude readers from other countries from this contest. So what I will do is make the Grand Prize, Bonnie's opal ring itself, open to anybody, from any country, on any continent. But the book winners will have to be confined to the USA. Maybe by the next contest I can find some way around that.

No, to be in the contest the subject must be exactly: BONNIE’S OPAL RING. The opinion doesn't count for that.
