Ok guys, I gathered the opinions I found on the Internet. What do you think? Let's talk about this & make thing clear:)

this and "All they do is making out & having sex." (I'm being honest) :) But to make things clear: I'm still a hardcore DE shipper :)

and if they don't have sex, you guys would say that they don't have enough sex
they aren't like Stefan & Elena, they have so much passion in relationship, I can't imagine Damon not having sex everyday =D

Frankly my ONLY problem is Stefan. What i hated in 2nd episode was that we are in 2nd episode and yet Stefan is between them. I didn;t expected the love triangle to dissapear completely but Julie's writing and ideas were awful. I want Elena's feelings to be clear. Just that. And i'll be happy.

I didn't gave up. I didn't lost hope. DE is my all time OTP and i don't think this will ever change.
But to be honest, for 4 years we watched this show revolving all about SE. We were hurt, we were dissapointed, we had our happy times and we never lost hope. For 4 years we were waiting for it and now that it happened we don't know how to react. What to expect. What to hope for.

This new story can go only 2 ways. Or DE will be more Epic than it is already or it will take the downhill. -If that's possible.- I guess we have to put faith in Julie Plec.

^ But that's not a crime. I mean that's what 2 people in love do when they have no problems or anything else to worry about. I'm sure as the show progresses that they'll have more important things to deal with. Of course some problems like Stefan, Aaron, Caroline, Katherine we'll get between them. And then the angst will re-appear.

I don't think the 'problem' is Delena. Quite frankly, I would be worried if they WEREN'T making out and having sex because they are still in the early stages of their relationship, and when a couple stops having sex then it almost always signals the end. Maybe their chemistry is different from what it was, but it's a good change. I don't know about anyone else, but I think a lot of fans got used to their rollercoaster, thrill of the chase thing. Like, Elena being in denial, Damon saving her, etc, but I don't miss that. It's a relief that's over. But I think for the people who chose the 'I miss their connection'/ 'They don't feel like DE anymore' maybe have to acknowledge that it wasn't so much Delena that they were obsessed with; it was the anticipation and waiting for something they weren't sure they were gonna get. It was that 'What's going to happen now' feeling. Well, now DE are a couple so of course that buzz is gone. I don't think the problem is Delena. I think half of it is the fans who are watching. It's inevitable that for some at least, they spend all this time wanting something and then when they get it, they find they don't want it anymore or that it didn't mean as much to them as they thought. And that's not DE's problem, its theirs. That and the fact that we can't be free to just enjoy the show without worrying about the DG connection or Stefan. I think if we took the triangle away completely, then it would be a huge relief knowing that he wouldn't be able to come between them.

yes it' has become very annoying that we don't even have 1 single episode without a DE conversation about him, but that was because of the storyline mostly - i hope it will be reduced...

That was in the first episode when they showed us how 3 people IN LOVE spent their summer!! they were carefree and FINALLY together after all this time.. What did we expect them to do? From the second episode already we saw them trying to solve their problems together!

Can't agree with that^^ The kiss in 5x02 is one of the greatest proof!

"I miss their connection."
Season 5 has JUST started and they haven't had the chance to try their long-distance relationship or other problems tht come up.. Even now with the whole Stefan thing they try to deal with it together! Not to mention that Damon also shows interest and tries to advice her concerning her father-mystery!

"Damon started lying to Elena."
Damon many times in the past witheld the truth from Elena in order not to hurt her / protect her! That's who he is, and he does it because of love - he doesn't want to see her getting hurt!

These pretty much sum up the rest options too, from my point of view..!!

Yes, 5x01 was boring as hell and not worthy of being a pilot. In fact, they could have just cut it out entirely and nothing would be different. However I honestly believe that Damon and Elena still have it. Especially with what I've heard about 5x03...

I agree with delenasalvatore. Also I think people are judging their relationship too early in the season. You know there's going to be a bunch of drama later on...

I saw the rants on a couple of sites... It's maybe that we fear change. What do we go from here? This is it, she chose Damon, so no more will they/won't they. The dynamics have clearly changed. Of course they don't feel the same, Damon got the girl.

What troubled me was Stefan, but then I figured that it's normal, he is Damon 's brother after all and Elena clearly cares for him but I don't think that's love. When Silas came as Stefan we saw Elena hug him, clearly worried for him but as a brotherly affection imo, nothing else.
Damon is smiling, Elena is smiling, they are clearly happy together so I'm going with it, it's been 4 years, they better not screw this up

everything is perfect, or it would be if EVERY single conversation or moment that they have with eachother didn't revolve around that annoying selfrightious hypocrite saint stefan. im sorry, but this really irritates me.

My problem is Stefan. We can't have a decent sl for Damon and Elena only. There is always Stefan in everything. Let's move on for god sake!there are a lot of possibilities and sl they could do and we're still stuck with this epic love bs. I think basically the problem is fanservice.

I think the producers/writers are purposely still trying to make Stelena endgame even if it means destroying the beautiful love story they built between Damon & Elena! That's how it seems to me and I think Delena shippers ought to get on every poll they can and vote Delena and also make The powers that be know exactly how disappointed they will be if the TVD writers don't take the Delena fanbase seriously!

And all they do is having sex too,what is not the priority in a relationship.

I love DE to death!!<3 Although They do have their flaws this season. There connection and Chemistry is still AMAZING! but S1,2,3,4 it was BEYOND AMAZING! I miss the whole elena fighting her feelings for damon, damon pushing her to admit it sort of thing. Don't get me wrong I'd much rather them be couple and be all I love u like, but how can u not miss that part of them. But overall this season they r still amazing and I love them SO SO SO SO much<3!!:)
