People who think swimsuits are porn scare the bloody hell out of me....
1. You spelt "woohoo" wrong.
2. There is no need to type in capitals.
3. Wouldn't it be easier to access a porn website instead of staying on here all day in hope you'll see it advertised?
1) You used an en dash instead of an em dash or colon.
2) You yourself spelled two words wrong ('access' and 'porn').
3) You failed to realize that the comment was left three years ago. The likelihood of iLuVBETTY reading and correcting her post is low, so there really was no reason to correct her. (Especially, since you had misspellings and incorrectly used punctuation in your own post.)
Firstly, i see no trouble with replying to post which were not posted reccently, for 1 because actually, not everyone would reply or read your reply even if they did post their comment reccently, but it's ok to reply to that? Also, this is a debate spot. you post things, regardless of when, and there is a chance people will reply. and besides, even if he/she did reply, and then i replied, and then she replied, and so on, the arguement would have to end at some point. Not to mention, there is nothing (as far as i know) in the fanpop guidelines which has anything against replying to old posts/comments. However, administraiters and fanpop creators have been known to provide a spell checking service depending on what computer or internet sythem you use, and although the service is optional, if at all avaliable, it is obvious from this service that perhaps people prefer it when everything is written in capitals. Oh yes, and that brings me to yet another point, that people all the time around this spot put at the end to a reply to a post with spelling/grammar errors etc, "edit: (insert what they have misspelt here)", however, this does not cause any arguement or anger, however, do pretty much the same thing in bullet point form, and that apprantly is worst for some unknown reason, which is both illogical and stupid.
And finally, i think there was a big difference because accidental spelling mistakes and deliberate violation of the grammar code! i mean come on "pron" Vs "WOHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! " Never knew i hated it when people typed in capitals? well, you do now.
Oh yeah, and speaking of being stupid, thank you for pointing out the spelling mistakes! now i can edit them! :D :D however, as i am confused to what you mean when you say "en dash", therefore your first point is hard for me to edit.
Moving on, i've probably made a big mistake by writing this reply, seeing as now i'm probably going have to have perfect spelling. yay, and this comment may have like a thousand errors for people to point out. Bring on the spelling editing! O.0
(PS. no. i don't really hate it when people type in capitals. i have no idea what the grammar code is. and just for arguments sake you youself put a full stop in brackets, when it should be after brackets, also, "en" isn't a word. wow, this is fun.)
Again, faulting someone for misspellings when you have them yourself is hypocritical. "However, administraiters and fanpop creators have been known to provide a spell checking service depending on what computer or internet sythem you use." (*Administrators, and system are all spelled incorrectly, by the way, and Fanpop needs to start with a capital letter.) If you're lucky enough to have the correct internet system, the incorrect words would be underlined in red. So, do you not have the system or are you just ignoring all the red?
I'm also going to assume Google isn't working for you? In that case, allow me to give you an English lesson. An en dash is called an "en" dash because it is roughly the width of the letter 'n.' It's a tiny dash that is used to replace the word 'to.' For example:
January - February
It can also be used as a hyphen when combining compounds. For example:
A high school - college conference.
you youself put a full stop in brackets, when it should be after brackets
Couple of things:
1) I didn't use brackets. I used parentheses.
2) The full stop would be in the parentheses, as the entire sentence is enclosed in the parentheses. I would also like to point out that you yourself put a full stop in parentheses.
*I, recently, recently, You, And besides, argument, Fanpop, administrates, Fanpop, system, available, argument, apparently, worse, I, I, I, Well, Now, I, However, I, I've, I'm, Yay, No, I, I, And yourself, Wow.
That's not even the grammar and punctuation mistakes. That's just misspellings and words you forgot/neglected to capitalize.
If you don't know the rules, why are you trying to correct someone else? People in glass houses...
