Suddenly, HIV/AIDS snatches his future. Shortly after that his high school girlfriend, Crystal, and four anno old son, Jeremiah, (who do not have HIV/AIDS), mostra up on his doorstep. Thus begins Devin’s desperate attempt to be better than his own mother and father, and make a lasting impression on his son before death takes him away forever.


During his journey he encounters many challenges and difficulties, including drug addiction, depression, and, most trying of all, the Amore and sexual advances of his son’s mother. Will he destroy her and his son, o will he leave them a legacy of which they can be proud? This is the thrilling, frightening, and heartbreaking story of a man fighting to be a man against all odds.
