ciao guys, in the devil may cry ANIME, does Virgil ever make an appearance o is he even meantioned at all?

Vergil does not make an appearance, as the Anime takes place between the game timelines of 1 and 4 - thus, Vergil has already been defeated (If te remember, Nelo Angelo - who is actually Vergil - in the first game apparently explodes during the final confrontation).
