My favourite moment, and probably one of my favourite across the whole series, was the very small moment just after Dexter finds out that Deb is basically dead and he starts walking backwards and says "I've never seen a miracle." That just killed me.
I feel like Dexter was real selfish when i threw her of the boat, sure he loved her and all, but he wasn't the only one.. She had many people loving her, and that wanted to say goodbye to her.. Ok he could like decide to dispatch the breathing machine, but at least leave her there... :( Poor Quinn
That was the happiest moment in the episode, in my opinion, because my love and admiration for Debra grew so much this season that I probably wanted to keep the best memory of her: she always found a way of cheering Dex up and she found the perfect words.
I think the scene when he pulls the life support on her, and saying he loved her was very strong, thus it is my second favorite. Very raw scene: no music, just the sound of the machine and his voice...
When it comes to the scene when he drops her in the water, I have to say I have mixed feelings: that was a "natural" way of letting her go, and the moment he looks at her face before he does it was powerful as well.
But I would rather see him go right through the hurricane, so that they could die together...
He threw her like the people he killed, so it is a bit weird to think the last time he did it was for his sister, the best person he ever knew.
