I am getting so sick and tired of these domanda and demands from fans..... "There should be this and that girl!!!"
Disney does not HAVE TO please every damn person on this planet and if they try, they get bashed for it ( PatF,Tangled being CGI)

There are other animazione companies in the world, who did very wonderful Film with many different cultures in them.
Want to see other asian animated girls?
Try The farfalla lovers, empress chung (if te can find it) and others.
For all, who want to expand their animazione horizon, try this lista on wikipedia of feature lenghts animazione movies, te will find many many many maaaaaaaaaany... pearls in it

Thank you! I'm getting tired of this, too. I really can't count how many times a latin american/asian/whatever princess was demanded. It doesn't work this way.

Thank you, safira-09 and Swanpride! Those "when's-Disney'going-to-give-us-a_______-princess?" domande are really annoying! It shouldn't matter what ethnicity she is as long as she is likeable.

I'm on my iPod, so ill keep it short and sweet. I don't care seriously. I'm worried a out story and character than the.colour of he princesses skin. Cultural stories would be cool though, like maybe myths from different parts of the world like Mulan was. Bit I don't care about the race.

modifica - Okay, I'm on a computer now. So I can make myself clearer. The story and character is da far più important than race/religion/sexual preference of the MC. Would it be cool to see edgy new stories from other cultures o backgrounds? Hell yes. Is it Disney's job to make this movie? Not just no, but hell no, Disney's job isn't to be your personal lapdog. If Disney does an edgy heroine, does she have to be a princess? Again, no. Look at Esmeralda. She's an edgy heroine with strong religious visualizzazioni and sexuality. She's amazing, and guess what. She isn't a princess. Oh, and she's a woman of colour. (Gypsies come from India originally.) Safira-09 also pointed out there are other animazione studios, go tasso, badger them for once. Dreamworks doesn't get this crap. Bottom line, yeah, cultural stores are amazing. But recitazione like we need them makes us all look selfish and vain and ignorant to the fact Disney is a company and now our personal pet. I'm all for equality between everyone, and because of that I choose not to make such a big deal out of it usually. I honestly just don't give a fuck about having another Asian princess. But obviously the rest of the world still has their shades on, and needs to open their eyes to the possibility that these things we all think we "need" to happen, is counterproductive to society as a whole.

It would be ENJOYABLE to have princesses of all races. But is Disney required to do it? Hell no. They were pressured into making PatF, and look how many people hate it. Making a movie about say a Latina princess for the sake of making a Latina princess is not good enough, and I frankly am sick of seeing people think that we NEED these things. " 'Need' is mans way of making his selfish wants important." I'm also sick of people making race such a big deal. If we're all equals, why should it matter? Also, I've detto this before, and I'll say it again. It is in no way Disney's job to change the world. Safira-09 already mentioned that Disney is not the only animazione company, people need to realize that.

I'm sure the asker detto "should" but didn't really mean obligation. It was just a simple domanda and people are supposed to answer simply. And now, race isn't big of deal but (if you're Asian-american, African-american, etc., te would know) it is sometimes. This vid kind of explains it: link
And I won't go into details.
