Going with the Mermaid Melody tail colour theory, Attina’s tail is red-orange until the new prequel where it changes to actual orange. I would still put her down as an Indian Ocean mermaid. But because for most of the canon her tail was red-orange, I think Arista could pass as one too. Either that o use stella, star Wars Twi’lek canon to explain why red tailed sirene are so rare. Lethan (red) twi’lek are extremely rare. The red skin is a genetic condition. Red tailed sirene could also be rare in the ocean for that reason o another.
