I've decided to take a little break from The Golden oca and sketch the Disney Princesses. While I'm at it, I might as well make one of these lists. Sorry if my lista is boring and conventional...

10. Briar Rose
 Oh, I'm such a bad girl. I'm a rebel...in my dreams!
Oh, I'm such a bad girl. I'm a rebel...in my dreams!

Briar Rose is lovely and perfect, but her character isn't dato any opportunity to shine.

9. Cinderella
 Call me maybe
Call me maybe

Cenerentola has a lot of energy, character, and kindness, but she's almost too passive. Still, she shows enough fight in her to be a net positive, which inches her up to the number 9 spot.

8. Snow White
As long as you're living under your roof, you'll live da my rules!
As long as you're living under your roof, you'll live da my rules!

Like the other classic princesses, Snow White embodies outdated ideals which I don't relate to. Of the three, though, she's the most assertive. She makes the dwarfs clean up their act whether they want to o not, even though she was an uninvited guest.

7. Pocahontas
We were both young when I first saw te
We were both young when I first saw you

Pocahontas reminds me of my sister in law, even though she's Korean. Besides the physical and voice similarity, she comes from a huge Korean family and she's the first to marry outside her ethnicity.

But other than that vague personal connection, I don't feel much about Pocahontas one way o another. Her hopes and motivations are vague and she literally doesn't even understand her own dream.

6. Jasmine
So, I AM a prize to be won over?
So, I AM a prize to be won over?

gelsomino is smart and witty, fun loving and assertive. Unlike Belle, she uses her powers of deception for good. What's not to love?

Unfortunately, gelsomino suffers from being crowded out of her own movie. A più complex character perhaps wouldn't fit in to the spaces left behind between the Genie and Aladdin. I think gelsomino is fun and all when she's on screen, but her character is too straightforward for my tastes.

5. Tiana
Tiana knows what she wants (mostly)
Tiana knows what she wants (mostly)

Tiana is easily the most mature Disney Princess. She knows what she wants and she knows how she's going to get it. Her drive, work ethic, and pragmatism are admirable. She's the one who least needs a prince, so it's not so tragic that she ends up with the prince who is the least of them.

So, if Tiana is so perfect why does she rank so much higher than the classic princesses? It's because she embodies modern ideals which I do relate to. I only wish I had her drive and ambition.

4. Mulan
This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me
This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me

Mulan's desires are più defined da what she does not want to be than what she wants to be. più than any other Disney Princess, she is under immense pressure to conform to particular expectations of her family and her society. She has no other choices, so who can blame her for not having specific ambitions?

Mulan transforms from the weakest and most angst ridden of the Disney Princesses into the strongest and most heroic of them. That's rather awesome.

However, Mulan's character is a little too perfect for my tastes. Sure, she starts off clumsy and unfocused--but excessively so. I feel like her early weakness is contrived just to make her più relatable and to amplify her later awesomeness. Still, the contrivance does work. Tiana starts off strong, and her character is a bit less interesting for it.

3. Belle
 Belle is just a girl
Belle is just a girl

I find Belle to be the most enigmatic of the Disney princesses. From a modern perspective, she seems so ordinary, but she's stuck in this backwards provincial town with backwards attitudes so she's the odd one. più than any of the other princesses, Belle's desires and dreams are vague. She knows she wants something...but she doesn't know what.

Like so many of us, Belle is adrift and she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. But she doesn't brood on it like Mulan. Quite the opposite--Belle is carefree and playful.

Why? Because Belle is a product of her upbringing. Clearly her father has been uncritically supportive of her her whole life. Belle actually has a lot of flaws. She's not a perfect goodie two shoes like the classic princesses. She's as disobedient, sneaky, and deceptive as the other renaissance princesses. But unlike the others, her father never reprimands her for it. Belle never once pauses to consider the possibility that she might be in the wrong.

Ultimately, Belle is the closest thing to a spoiled princess among the Disney princess lineup. She is closer to Ashman's original concept of gelsomino as a spoiled princess than what gelsomino evolved into after his all to early demise.

With all these flaws, why do I rank Belle so highly? It's because her flaws make her unpredictable and più adorable than the flawless princesses. Belle's flaws actually drive the story. Beast ironically nails it when he says she's being so "difficult". It's a subtle point which many miss, because everyone in the audience is thinking, "Heck yeah! I'd be difficult too, since you're such a jerk!" But the thing is--the audience is made up of normal people, like Belle. The classic Disney princesses weren't normal. They were superhumanly perfect. They wouldn't have been "difficult".

Belle is the perfect match for Beast, because she's an ordinary girl with ordinary flaws (by modern standards). She's the one to transform Beast into a decent man, da being such a challenge. At the same time, she's not an unreasonable challenge--she's not abnormally "difficult", she's just a normal girl with normal flaws.

Belle is neither heroic nor villianous. She's just a girl. Her noteworthy characteristic is that she has no noteworthy characteristic. That makes her, arguably, the most special of all.

Belle also sort of reminds me of my wife, in the sense that my wife whipped me into shape in much the say Belle whipped Beast into shape. But that really says più about me than her.

1/2. Ariel/Rapunzel
 I've been waiting all giorno
I've been waiting all day

I can't discuss Ariel and Rapunzel separately. They are the ones who I personally relate to the most. They are the ones who most remind me of me and my wife.

I could go on and on about many aspects of Ariel, but I'll just concentrate on one point of many. Ariel dreams of something that's impossibly unattainable. She yearns for it so much it hurts. I know that feeling so deeply and it hurts so much.

I've known this impossible yearning three times in my life. The first time was so pathetic, but it's a part of who I was. I yearned for love, for decades, and it was a destructive all consuming yearning the would only eventually be sated da the incredible miracle of my eventual wife falling in Amore with me. (She too, had this yearning, but unlike me she's attractive--I was ugly, especially on the inside.) The secondo time was when I conceived of some spazio propulsion concepts (a dream I haven't dato up on, but which I'm now taking my time with). The third time is something I'm deeply struggling with currently. I wrote something so beautiful that I yearn to be a screenwriter...but it feels so hopelessly impossible.

My point is, I know how it feels to aim too high and to feel the pain of knowing it's surely impossible. Ariel dreams too high. She goes for it anyway. Well, Ariel's superior to me because she's fearless and doesn't doubt herself.

In contrast, Rapunzel is wracked with fear and self doubt--something I know all to well (as well as my wife). Rapunzel's dreams are più modest; she's not a big dreamer like myself. She's più similar to my wife in that respect.

But the big thing that makes Rapunzel remind me of my wife is that she has no idea how beautiful and precious she is. No matter how many times I tell her, she doesn't believe me. She just doesn't understand how completely out of my league she is.

I could go on and on about how Ariel and Rapunzel are objectively amazing and interesting characters, but anyone could do that. Personally, I have feelings for them which are deeply personal. I see in Ariel and Rapunzel myself and my love.
I would like to write 2 new songs from 2017 reboot of the 1991 classic and the reasons why I Amore them, here we go!

Evermore

I first heard Josh Groban's rendition of this wonderful song, he nailed the song perfectly and I heard it played twice at the lobby at my hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam on way back to the airport twice.
Initially, I thought he was going to dub Dan Stevens, until I heard the latter. Prompting me to surprise and that he followed his Downton Abbey costar, Lily James who played the titolo character in the 2015 reboot of Cinderella.

How Does A Moment Last Forever?

Upon listening to this song da Celine Dion, I felt that this song really Suits my personality as well as my relationship with my family.
I Amore how Maurice sang a short reprise at the beginning, it really explores his character more. This is something that I really cherish!

Which Way?

So, which of these 2 songs are your favourites?
 Hello!
Hello!
Hi guys, this articolo is the perfect dancing Musica for the princesses. Ranging from the Renaissance to the Victorian Era, ready?

1. Bergamasca (Marco Ucellini)

This Musica will be best, especially for the 3 classical princesses. It is very gentle and smooth when they dance with their princes.

2. Johann Strauss II's Waltzes

In fact, many of his waltz are quite popolare and it would definitely be popolare among the princesses themselves.

3. Joseph Lanner's Die Schonbrunner Waltz

Initially, I thought that it was digita da Strauss, but it is actually his rival Joseph Lanner.

4. Frederick Chopin's Waltz Music

I also Amore his music, his waltz is also another favourite for the Disney Princesses themselves.

A Toast!

Do te agree with my choice, if te do go ahead and listen to them.

 The Brothers Grimm
The Brothers Grimm
Since I had written Hans Christian Andersen, now it is his German counterparts. The Brothers Grimm, I know that many of their stories are dark and sinister. But, I'm sure that Disney will know how to handle it!

1) The Twelve Brothers

Okay, this story is quite similar to the Wild Swans. It also has a happy ending and I kind of feel bad for the girl during the majority of the story.

2) Rumpelstiltskin

I bet te all know the story, and it was my favourite story of all times since I was young. The ending has several different versions, so it's up to Disney to decide!

3) The Ribelle - The Brave Little Tailor

In Europa and since the last two years also Australia is an annual event, named Eurovision Songcontest. In the Eurovision Songcontest, countries send in a singer of group who sing their own song of a song that's made for them. If a song is agreeded door the jury, the song joins a semi-final. In the semi-final the jury and the vieuwers vote for the best act. If a song is in the superiore, in alto ten, it joins the final.

Okay, that was the explanation of the Eurovision Songcontest. What I want with this is a Songcontest with Disney songs on Fanpop. First, users on fanpop add songs door the 'question' u may...

Tiana: Tanzanite
Personally I have never liked that lime, calce green on her.. I think a brilliant cobalt blue would have suited her skin tone much better. Just like Tanzanite. It's fiery brilliance and depth would suit Tiana for her undeterred dedication and her quiet strength. She does have panache when it comes to her clothes, so a bit offbeat jewel while being among the class of diamonds would suit her the best.

 The 2 Ellas!
The 2 Ellas!
Once upon a time, the Disney Princess visit their goddaughter name Dee in Malaysia. One day, they decide to do some window shopping at a new shopping mall, when a door knock is heard.
Dee opens the door, and was surprise to see a familiar face at her door. "Hi there, may I come in?" asks the young girl. Who was only in her early 20's, this young beautiful blonde haired girl is also very pretty. She's also a French.
"Hi Dee Dee, who is it at the-", asks Cinderella, stopping dead at her track. "Hi Cinderella, remember me?" asks the young girl happily as she enters, the other princesses went...

So I'm doing a four part articles, reviewing three Frozen songs:Life's Too Short, More than a Spare and We Know Better, then I'm going to write an articolo about all the deleted songs and compare them to the songs they kept in the movie.

I will start with Life's Too Short, as it's the most "popular" one, and I will be reviewing the reprise with it.

So do I like it? No, I Amore it! This in my opinion, is my preferito song out of the whole Frozen soundtrack, I like this song better then the songs that weren't deleted from the movie. Sure, this song would be the one least likely be to fit into the...

Hi everyone! This is my first articolo on my new account. It's your standard preferito princess article, but I figured it's always easy to read. Ehhh...I'd rather not argue about a totally opinionated articolo but I'm totally open to any domande te have about any of the lazy points I made... Oh, Anna and Elsa aren't included because I don't think they'll ever be official DPs, but I included where they'd be at the end of the article. Oh and sorry for the lack of pictures...but te know...I'm too lazy. Sorry. But anyway, enjoy!!

[i]i have to warn people that this will be a little negative about the new Cenerentola movie,i don't try to offend anybody[i]

I´m kind of tired to hear things like "ella is better that the original, she has più personality and is better developed"
While i have to agree that the prince and Lady Tremaine are più developed in the new film i just can't agree the same with Cenerentola

In the original film , Cenerentola was in Tremaine´s custody since she was a child and is detto that her steptmother forced her to work for her when she was , like how, ten? nine?, she was a child there was nothing...

So I had an idea pop into my head and I had to write an article. So, there are so many things; looks, intelligence and personality, so I've decided to make an articolo for each princesses, about where they are placed on each of my rankings.

I've decided to go newest to oldest, and since when people go oldest to newest people place Anna before Elsa, I'm doing Elsa first.
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN OPINION ARTICLE! THIS IS NOT MEANT TO OFFEND!

Let's start with the shallowest and work our way up, shall we?

Voice Actress (Idina Menzel)- 10

Now, I'm not counting Canto for this particular ranking, because...

Read my lips and come to grips with reality
Yes, meet a blast from your past

Say hello to your precious Prince Ali!

So Ali turns out to be merely Aladdin
Just a con, need I go on?
Take it from me
His personality flaws
Give me adequate cause
To send him packing on a one-way trip
So his prospects take a terminal dip
His assets frozen, the venue chosen

I don't really have a good reason to why I chose my username, it just was the first one that came into my mind (but I've been on fanpop for nearly 5 years so that might explain), but 94 is the last two numbers of the anno I was borned (1994) and I just thought sweetie was a lovely word

Crappy picture I made.
I may be in the minority, but I Amore Elsa. Imo, she has a very complex, realistic personality. te have to dig a little deeper into her character than most princesses. I will warn te now, a lot of this articolo is assumptions and opinions Elsa haters will dislike.

Personality:
Don't kill me, but I think she has one. When she was little, she loved to play, laugh, and have fun. She was a little irresponsible (though at the beginning of the movie, before they build a snowman, she pretended each other.) but who isn't when they're, what, 7? She plays with Anna and really shows her Amore for Anna by...

Whilst typing my last articolo I came to realize that (Mulan being the exception) my preferito princesses were different than my preferito princess movies. That said; whilst my two preferiti are Ariel and Mulan, my preferito Film are Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and Snow White.

Beauty and the Beast

This movie is probably my preferito Disney movie hands down. I absolutely adored the plot. I'm all for uniqueness and originality; usually in Film people are cursed into animals. In Beauty and the Beast, they are all objects...that can talk. And this is all because their Prince had to work on his attitude...it...
