These girls are so alike

Guys, Merida is getting so much hate over Fan-pop! So today, I am going to write an articolo about how Merida is like gelsomino in many ways. Why I chose gelsomino is that Merida is like gelsomino too, and I think te should listen to this.

First off, Merida and gelsomino DO NOT want to be princesses. Why? Because they both WANT to be free. They also had to be married da someone they DIDN'T love. And they didn't want that. They want to follow their own path, and they should get some pats on their shoulders for that. Secondly, they pretty much are stubborn. They are pretty hot headed too.

All right, this is a small part of the articolo talking about the suitors that really ticked me off! Ya, only one suitor of the three of Merida's suitors gets to be compared da suitor that pushes strada, via rats into mud, an tells them they have flees. Guys, the men are jerks! Like young Mackintosh is used to getting attention from girls, and Jasmine's suitor doesn't take no as an answer. So, these two men are complete jerks.

successivo thing is their eyes. Merida has beautiful eyes the deserve some recognition. She has beautiful blue eyes. They don't even get passed her face, although she isn't as pretty as Jasmine, she has some pretty features too. Oh, gelsomino has those Arabian beauty eyes. Her eyes are just a good complement to her beauty.

Finally, their happy endings. Guys, they got what the both wanted in the end. Threw their little adventures they finally got the goal changed. With Merida finally accepts her mother while gelsomino gets some insight and the boy of her dreams! So Merida isn't as different as the other princesses.

randarful When I was watching Brave in theaters, I couldn't stop thinking about how Merida is so similar to Jasmine!! Awesome article!! Plus, I think Jasmine is the first princess to actually use a bow/weapons (in the TV series), so I guess that's something they also have in common.

MaidofOrleans Great article! I'm really glad you wrote this. It makes me so sad that Merida gets so much hate. I like her precisely for the reasons everyone seems to dislike her - her huge mistakes that she makes. I think it makes her more human and a more compelling character. Swanpride How exactly is being like Jasmine a good thing? I dislike exactly the same things about Merida I dislike about Jasmine...with the difference that Jasmine has the excuse not being the protagonist of her movie and being created in the 90s. I thought we are past this kind of characters by now....

shanyuisboss I agree they are alike, I think they could be friends actually. I loved your points, though some of them were a bit weak. All the princesses got there happy endings (except for Poca) and looks shouldn't be compared. It's there personality that makes them alike, how they both want to be free and how they are both independent. Good job:)

Bluestar2000 I love Merida! People dislike her because they said she was stupid to get a spell from a witch, but, to be honest, she was desperate and wouldn't we ALL be desperate by then? And I think that she is the most realistic looking of all the Disney princesses. Good job

Ah, I have never liked Cinderella's hair. Even when I was five. It's bland, it's boring, I can't tell if it's wavy o poofy o what, and the color reminds me of mustard (which I quite strongly dislike.) Even in an updo, it looks like a butt.

Why I think Belle and The Clone Wars version of Padme Amidala look alike

Feel free to think I'm hallucinating, but to me, it's the real-deal! I've detto it once, and I'll say it again-they look JUST like each other! The only difference I see is they eyes. Belle's eyes are hazel and Padme's eyes are brown. If they had the same eye-color, I swear to God they could pass for identical twins! Hell, they can pass for fraternal twins! Hello, DP Fanpoppers, in this articolo I'm going to share my thoughts on they way I see 'The Little Mermaid', and try to prove certain negative opinions surrounding this movie wrong with they way I and certain other people see the situation. By the end of the Disney Renaissance, layered characters weren’t enough. Now, the princesses had to be heroic as well. This is where Pocahontas and Mulan come in. Pocahontas saves her village and her prince. Mulan takes it up a notch and saves her country and her prince. Both princesses have been accused of problems with her personality. Why do we feel the need to compare The Princess and the Frog with Tangled?

If I had to write an articolo which one of those Film is better, I know what the result would be. I consider Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre the better movie because it has a cohesive story, better characters, better score, più impressive animazione – it just beats The Princess and the Frog in every aspect. But why is there this constant need to compare those two Film in the first place? I have never seen anyone comparing any of the Disney Princess Film with the one which came directly beforehand o after, unless it was for pointing out the development in animation.
