So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all Disney Princess Film in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn te I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures the viewer's attention. It's just like a fairytale coming alive in the screen. Of course, I detto "I see almost no problems with the plot".

There are filler scenes. But they aren't bad. I thought I would be bored and annoyed when the dwarfs enter the house, but it kept my attention in the screen - it's very funny. I also like the washing scene, except the thing with Dopey swallowing the soap - but gladly that was short. But the fact I like then don't stop it from making them what they are: filler scenes.

I also wished they had kept link scene. Sorry, but it would teach some people più about Snow White's nature, since she is obviously (and delightfully) manipulative in this scene - and it's obvious that's the reason Walt cut it, just like he cut the scene with Cenerentola laughing of her sisters. He prefered to keep their, ah, "imperfections" to only the most open-minded ones.

I also wish, to a lesser extent, he would've kept the link scene. It's cute and I like Snow White's attitude in this scene. And, really, if I could travel back to that time, I would have told Walt to make a short film of that deleted scene where the Dwarfs build a letto for Snow White. I can't find it in good quality in Youtube, so I'm not passing a link, but te can easily find it.

Also, this has some of the "best" Disney scenes, in my opinion: Best Cleaning Scene ("Whistle While te Work"), Best Baking Scene ("Someday My Prince Will Come (reprise)") and one of the best Disney's Happy Endings.

So, for the captivating fairytale-like story and the entertaining filler scenes, I give the plot a score of 9,1.

The Characters:

Snow White: I know some people see Snow White as bland and stupid and passive, but I cannot see it, really. She's so interesting and an over-layered character, with many different traits - she can be cheerful, childlike, wise, motherly, bossy, sassy, flirty and even manipulative. I Amore how unrealistic she is, the perfect example of a fairy-tale princess, and I watch Disney Film to flee from my somewhat depressing reality (not that I don't Amore my life).

She is sooo cute and I Amore how she knows she has everyone wrapped around her little finger - the searching Prince, the house-cleaning animals, the welcoming dwarfs - and is still so truly joyful and sweet. I also don't think she is a stereotypical housewife o any of that, well, crap (pardon my language). She was smart to offer her domestic help, o the dwarfs wouldn't let her stay. And her life DOESN'T revolves arround the Prince. I was observing that today - she's the only princess whose life doesn't revolves arround something. She is in the dwarfs' cottage, thinking she's sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza and living her life like another ordinary day.

And to be honest, I think she dealt with the old lady the right way. Really, she was obviously reluctant to give information to the woman, but when she saw the animali attacking her and the woman having a heart-attack, she acted the role of the good samaritan and let her inside. Also, she was right in accepting the mela, apple - old people are REALLY difficult to deal with. I should know.

Sorry for the rant, but I think that was needed. Moving on!

The Seven Dwarfs: They're some of Disney's best sidekicks. Like Snow White, they're multi-layered, because they seem gruff and rough man at first, but they're really sweethearts at heart. They're also really funny. My preferiti are Doc, Bashful and Grumpy. I Amore how much of a bumbling leader Doc is and Bashful is the cutest, with his platonic Amore for Snow White. And Grumpy... well, need I explain? One of the best Disney grumpy characters, right there with Donald Duck.

Actually, I think all dwarfs have some degree of platonic Amore for Snow White, but the thing is - not even them know it is love, because they're so clueless.

The Evil Queen: Evil Ruler passing throught! That woman is just pure wickedness. She's so vain and bloodlusting. I Amore her cold, regal behavior and I find her really funny as the Hag. Of course, I only think that now. As a child, I was scared to death of her! When she popped up in that window - Oh My Gosh! That never failed to scare me!

In short, one of the best Disney villains.

The Prince:

Yes, the Prince is underdeveloped, but I think he is not bland. For a character with his amount of screentime, he sure shows how much of a romantic, sensible, dedicated guy he is. One of my preferito Disney Princes.

Forest Animals:

I looooooooove the Forest Animals! They're SO cute! And so useful - cleaning the whole cottage and bringing the dwarfs to the rescue! Their cutest moment is helping Snow White bake the gooseberry pie for Grumpy. ^^ AND THAT TURTLE, OH MY GOD, I Amore THAT TURTLE! BEST Disney CAMEO ANIMAL EVER!

The Huntsman:

Well, I think it was really kind and human of him to let Snow go, but there isn't a lot else to say. But I still like you, Huntsman.

So, for some multi-layered characters, entertaining characters and some underdeveloped ones, I give the characters a score of 8,7.

The Music:

The Musica of this movie is really charming and memorable. It's also catchy, in a good way. I'm Wishing is a really sweet and dreamy song and One Love is one of Disney's best Amore songs. With a Smile and a Song is a bright and inspiring song, that fills your cuore with sunshine when te hear it. Whistle While te Work is probably my preferito of the soundtrack and the best Disney's house-cleaning song. Heigh-Ho is a classic and catchy tune and The Washing Song is simply fun. I may say The Silly Song is Disney's best nonsensical song. The princess' theme song, Someday My Prince Will Come is not the best "I Want" song, but it's still great and charming and dreamy. The Finale, which is a reprise of One Song and Someday, is full of joy and has the great power to leave everyone full of happiness inside.

So, the songs I really love are: I'm Wishing, One Song, With a Smile and a Song, Whistle While te Work, The Silly Song and the Finale.

And the songs I love/like are: Heigh-Ho, The Washing Song and Someday My Prince Will Come.

That's right! There's not a single song I dislike in this movie!

So, for its memorable and charming songs, I give the Musica a score of 9,8.

The Score:

The score is simply great! It's one of the most memorable ones and does anyone else feels like it can tell a story in its own?

So, for its memorability and uniqueness, I give the score a score of 10

The Animation:

So, this section wasn't in the original article, because I was sleepy and forgot to add.

As the first full feature-lenght made da Walt and his team, it's obvious that they were still learning. But I don't think the animazione is as bad as some people like to say. The backgrounds and the coloring are beautiful and the characters' movements seem realistic to me.

The only complain I have is that I don't like how Snow White looks from far (for an example, when she is picking fiori - her beautiful lips look ugly and messed up) o how she looks in some sequences - when she tells the Dwarfs they have to wash and when she sings Someday My Prince Will Come - her forehead seems disproportionately big in these scenes.

However, I want to say I Amore how she looks in the other scenes, in particular when she enter the dwarfs' house for the first time and clean it.

So, for the generally good animation, but for some inconsistencies in the main character's animation, I give the animazione a score of b]8,0[/b].

Overview

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is just like a fairytale - timeless and an essential part of every kid's happy childhood. It's one of my preferito Film ever and it keeps my full attention. I give it a general score of 9,7.

So, I thank te for taking the time to read this quite long review and I hope that, even if te don't agree with me, te have enjoyed hearing my opinion.

Bye bye and 'till successivo time!

So this had been hilariously enjoyable and challenging for me! Doing a silly articolo can be totally fun, but be sure to respect my opinion, okay? Admit it o not, we all have some guilty pleasures. What if Disney princesses lived in the MODERN giorno world and had some guilty pleasure? It would be hella awesome to know about it! P.S. = Those memes are JUST FOR FUN

Snow White – Sneaking into Cibo and being a comfort lover

Yup! Ah, taking a tid bit out of refrigerator is something pretty naughty and silly and mischievous! I think Snow would hate being on a diet, just a wild guess lol! She...

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what libri and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally Lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I Amore reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! All immagini made da me.

Snow White

I get the distinct feeling that Snow would just adore classic children's libri such as Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures...

People complaining about Naomi being cast as gelsomino because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If te want a version of Aladdin with gelsomino being played da a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

Princess Elena of Avalor. Many people are already crying out for her, loving her, loving her for the diversity she brings to the DP line...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of te won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if Disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, o a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

 Type Three, "The Achiever"
Type Three, "The Achiever"
Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward descrizione of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, Ribelle - The Brave
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively
8: assertive, strong, self-confident

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t Amore him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna o Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Frozen sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings da herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.

Recently, I saw a sondaggio on this club about which House Rapunzel would be in at Hogwarts, which got me thinking about that domanda in relation to all the princesses. I’m an avid Harry Potter fan, so I figured I would lend my unique insights on the matter to all of te lovely people.

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers!

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Snow White is an amazing character, in my opinion. She is my preferito Disney Princess, and is my preferito Disney Character. She is also one of my preferito animated characters, and fictional characters in general. Now, let's talk about why.

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...
