VETERINARY SCIENCE MAJOR
Specialization: Small animals

Caring of animals

The family relationship of Cenerentola and her animali (=the mice, the birds, dog Bruno, and horse Major) is shown throughout the movie. This is all not to say she treats the mice as humans, rather, she treats even the smallest animali with consideration. Thus, she acts lovingly towards them and isn’t going to allow any unfair suffering under her care - perfect for being a vet.

(And - needless to say - rather than ciclismo, escursioni in bicicletta the abuse she received to others o herself o becoming amaro and cynical in how her care isn’t reciprocated, Cenerentola transformed this abuse into love.)

Relationship with animals

Now, although Cenerentola and her animali couldn’t empathize with each other (=mice aren’t “abused, humiliated [and be made into a servant]”; Cenerentola isn’t in constant mortal danger of a cat), they definitely sympathized because they recognized each other’s hardships and gave comfort.

Apart from her natural fortitude and optimism (=“for with each dawn she found new hope”), I believe that Cenerentola gained a fair amount of strength from her true and real Friends and family. It was this mutual compassion and consideration in their friendship/family relationship that helped give Cenerentola the community support which helped her cope.

As a vet, going through the animal sickness together, Cenerentola would also have a great bedside manner. She would be strong for them and gain strength from their strength.

From Cindy; to Animals

Cenerentola provides the same housework to her animal family as to her human stepfamily. As she clothes (=mending, sewing, laundry, etc) the humans, she clothes the mice and birds. She feeds everyone at the chateau. Seemingly anything related to clothes, food, o cleaning, etc, she would have done. Not to mention she was più than willing to adopt any topo, mouse “visitor” into the animal family. As a vet, her responsibilities would be different but just as vital.

All her domestic skills, in particular, would help immensely: her attention to detail in sewing little clothes (=for stitches), her cleaning (=to prevent infection), and multi-tasking in getting chores done. Not to mention her complessivamente, generale resourcefulness in keeping her animal family alive (=from traps and from cat) for that long and the mental toughness to continue to be her “ever gentle and kind” self despite horrible conditions. Because of her very adaptable and strong character, she would be able to handle the stress of veterinary practice.

To Animals; from Cindy

In her movie, the animali gratefully appreciated all her hard work and helped her in return as best they could: the morning routine, informing of ‘visitors’, finishing her dress, the transformation into another species so she can go to the ball, the complete endearment of her memories at the ball despite losing track of time and getting caught, and the warning of Tremaine following her and her eventual escape from her room. (In fact, for Jaq and Gus, they literally risk their lives for beads and key). A lot of these things are either dangerous o a race against time; things they wouldn’t have done unless they really cared for her.

Anyways, sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza to say, there would be a real mutual connection of trust and respect. Thus, although there would be professional detachment, I do believe veterinarian Cenerentola would have an excellent doctor-patient relationship.

Training and optimism

Although natural that these species wouldn’t get along, Cenerentola wanted harmony:
--Dog to Cat: “I know it isn't easy but at least we should try to get along together” (spoken to Bruno)
--Cat to Dog: “And that includes you” (spoken to Lucifer)
--Cat to Mice: “Oh Lucifer won't te ever learn? (spoken to Lucifer)

Thus, not only would she care for them biologically, but she was also trying to train them psychologically. Cenerentola wanted più than animali living together; she wanted the best situation for the animals: harmony.

The reason why she believed harmony was possible was, I think, because she believed that all animals, despite their bad behaviour, were innately good. For example, with Lucifer, “[he] has his good points too” and “there must be something good about him”.

This optimism and/or hopefulness would be very much needed during difficult times as a vet.

Oath/orders

And lastly, a short but meaningful point, Cenerentola is very aware of and acts accordingly to orders. (She even reminds Bruno and Lucifer) As a veterinarian, she’s bounded da one: the Veterinarian's Oath. And throughout the movie she has upheld two of its fundamental aspects: “the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering”

Summary

Despite the abuse and hate received, Cenerentola and her animali still had each other: a mutually beneficial support system which helped them cope. Throughout her story, she always showed care and consideration towards the animals. And, further, she also tried to teach the animali the same care and consideration so they could live in harmony if she wasn’t there to moderate.

Because of her goodwill and helpful nature towards all the animals, Cenerentola would make an excellent veterinarian.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR: Musica (vocal performance)

Being hardworking to sacrificial amounts, understandably Cenerentola doesn't have much spare time for other majors o minors. However, while preparing labs, she would sing...

...not only can she sing solo but Cenerentola can harmonize (=Sing Sweet Nightingale) so beautifully and effortlessly. Has shown so much talent that when she does have free time she actually makes the arrangements for her choir group.

STEREOTYPE: the Mom/do-it-all

Although never thanked o payed enough for all the work she does, she will always be there for anyone and never takes it to heart. Overall, she finds her major difficult and time-consuming but also very rewarding and when she makes the animali feel better it makes the whole process worthwhile.

After seeing her schedule, when te think about it, it's a wonder how she does all that and still have the effort to sing and dance once and a while.

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what libri and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally Lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I Amore reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! If te want a version of Aladdin with gelsomino being played da a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

Princess Elena of Avalor. Many people are already crying out for her, loving her, loving her for the diversity she brings to the DP line...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of te won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if Disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, o a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time preferito Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just Amore all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

 Type Three, "The Achiever"
Type Three, "The Achiever"
Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward descrizione of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, Ribelle - The Brave
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively
8: assertive, strong, self-confident

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t Amore him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna o Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Frozen sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings da herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.

Recently, I saw a sondaggio on this club about which House Rapunzel would be in at Hogwarts, which got me thinking about that domanda in relation to all the princesses. I’m an avid Harry Potter fan, so I figured I would lend my unique insights on the matter to all of te lovely people.

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers!

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Snow White is an amazing character, in my opinion. She is my preferito Disney Princess, and is my preferito Disney Character. She is also one of my preferito animated characters, and fictional characters in general. Now, let's talk about why.

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...
