The current lineup, as of February 2014.
Hi there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and welcome to my third articolo and coincidentally my third countdown, featuring my preferito DP Canto voices. The majority of our current princesses do sing; all but Merida. So, what do te say? Let's do this!

For fun, I thought of ranking each princess on a scale of one through five, with one being the lowest and five being the highest score possible. This is just to mostra how much I like each voice in the overall. :)

I know that Anna and Elsa will [most likely] be joining the lineup sometime this year, but even so, I would just like to focus on the current official princesses, minus Merida (since she doesn't sing).

Okay, now let's begin! :D

9. Snow White: ★★★☆☆

Although I like Snow White's voice, it's hard to compete with other great voices.
Although I like Snow White's voice, it's hard to compete with other great voices.
*sigh* I really don't like putting Snow White at the bottom. There are definitely those that don't like her voice for it sounding old-fashioned, but I don't mind it. I like it at most times. It sounds very sweet and childlike, and it fits her personality really well. She sounds really nice in "Whistle While te Work" and for most of "With a Smile and a Song". In other songs, she can hit some really high notes, which sound...not so great. But as a whole, I like Snow's voice. The only thing bringing her to the bottom are her high-notes, and the fact that the other princesses have amazing voices too. ;D

8. Rapunzel: ★★★☆☆

Rapunzel's voice sounds really nice, but once again, I prefer the other voices more.

Similar to what I detto about Snow White, Rapunzel's voice is very nice. Mandy Moore captures her personality perfectly, both in speaking and singing. She can hold notes nicely and sounds just amazing in "I See the Light".
So, why is she so low on the list? Well, once again like Snow White, the other princesses have stronger and più powerful voices that I just happen to like more. But don't get me wrong; I Amore hearing Rapunzel sing. She sounds just lovely! :D

7. Belle: ★★★☆☆

Belle's voice is nice and powerful. Sadly though, she isn't any higher than #7.
Belle's voice is nice and powerful. Sadly though, she isn't any higher than #7.
Belle's never had my preferito voice, and for a while I could never see what was so outstanding about it. After relistening to some of her songs in the movie, though, I've noticed how nice she sounds! Her voice in general is nice, and she can really hold some notes. Her voice may still not be super-amazing-outstanding to me, but it really sounds nice and it fits her character well. I'm going to give the same old excuse as I did for the precedente princesses: I like the other voices more.

6. Cinderella: ★★★★☆

Cenerentola just has a beautiful Canto voice.
Cinderella just has a beautiful Canto voice.
She may be at number 6, but I love Cinderella's voice. There's just that one sound that people had back in the 40's and 50's that te can't find nowadays, and Cenerentola is no exception. Her voice is just lovely, and she sounds just that in every song she sings, from "A Dream is a Wish Your cuore Makes" to "So This is Love". I haven't heard too many opinions on fanpop about Cinderella's Canto voice, but I hope her Canto gets some attention as it sounds amazing. :)

5. Aurora: ★★★★☆
Aurora's almost always hailed for having the greatest Canto voice of all the princesses. Well, I'm not going to act like I've always thought that, because for almost all of my little life, I totally disagreed. I couldn't stand listening to her sing - her voice sounded deep, her long notes aggravated me, and...yeah. Well, my friends, that opinion has turned around!
 I wonder why I didn't see...er, hear it before...
I wonder why I didn't see...er, hear it before...
Maybe not entirely, but if I hadn't watched Sleeping Beauty recently, Aurora'd be at #9. Seriously. So, how did this happen? Well, I for one Amore Aurora's Canto when she's first walking in the forest. There are no words, she's just Canto a bunch of angelic-sounding notes that the birds repeat. Her later Canto in "I Wonder" and "Once Upon a Dream" are also really nice. She holds notes, her voice is powerful, and is all-around amazing. Well, she does suffer from some of those long notes being a tad tedious (like Snow White), but other than that, she sounds great.

4. Jasmine/Mulan: ★★★★☆

Well, as te may have figured out da now, there had to be a tie somewhere, and that was with gelsomino and Mulan. They do sound a little different from eachother, but they're both voiced da Lea Salonga, so it may as well be a tie.
gelsomino and Mulan don't get huge Canto roles, but when they sing, they sound great. They have a powerful and nice-sounding voice which goes great with their respective songs that they sing.
They may not sing much, but gelsomino and Mulan have beautiful voices.
They may not sing much, but gelsomino and Mulan have beautiful voices.
gelsomino only shares a duet, but even so she can prove her vocal powers. :D Mulan was lucky enough to get her own solo, and she brings her all into its performance. Sadly, "Reflection" is still relatively short in comparison to the other songs in the movie.
These two are already pretty high on the list, but let's check out my superiore, in alto 3 choices! From here on out, I'll only have positive commenti to say (at least, in terms of singing). So, who's my choice for third place?...

3. Pocahontas: ★★★★☆

I may not like Pocahontas much, but her Canto is out of this world.
I may not like Pocahontas much, but her Canto is out of this world.
In general, I'm not a fan of Pocahontas. When it comes to its Musica and her Canto voice, that opinion is gone. I love Pocahontas' voice. She sounds great in both "Just Around the Riverbend" and especially in "Colors of the Wind". Like some of the other princesses on this list, she has a very powerful voice that sounds amazing when combined with these two songs (which, da the way, are both awesome). I was torn between putting Pocahontas here o at the secondo place spot, but I finally settled for third place. Still, Pocahontas sings beautifully. ;D

2. Ariel: ★★★★★

Ariel's voice - well, te already know it's great, so I'll just stop talking.
Ariel's voice - well, te already know it's great, so I'll just stop talking.
Ariel is another princess who is commonly considered to have [one of] the greatest voice[s], and of course, I'd have to agree with that. Is it overrated? Well, it's certainly a popolare opinion, but I wouldn't say it's overrated - she deserves all the attention she gets! Not only does Ariel have a beautiful Canto voice, but her song "Part of Your World" and its reprise are both fantastic pieces, and her voice sounds great in both songs. If anything, I'm a bit upset that she doesn't get to sing more!
And now, my preferito DP Canto voice is...

1. Tiana: ★★★★★

 That last note is AWESOME!
That last note is AWESOME!
The Princess and the Frog has everything for me: preferito princess, preferito princess Canto voice, preferito Disney movie (of course), and preferito soundtrack. Tiana's my preferito princess, and her voice is my preferito among all the princesses. She has "Almost There" all to herself, and I Amore the last note she holds. Such power! She also has the opening song "Evening Star", where she sounds amazing as well. There are a few other songs where she has small roles, but the precedente ones mentioned are my favorites. Tiana's powerful voice sounds incredible, and it goes well with her songs.

And that's the end! I hope you've enjoyed Leggere this article, even if te didn't quite agree with the things I said. Hopefully te did enjow it, though. :D I have a little request for te guys, and it's rather simple! Just answer these two domande in the commenti below:

1. Which princess has your preferito Canto voice?
2. Which princess has your least preferito Canto voice?

And that's that! See te guys later! :D
Still to come: Anna and Elsa
Still to come: Anna and Elsa
Now let me tell te a few facts about Rose Red and some other characters in this story before I continue with my story. Rose Red is as stated in the last part 18 years old at this point, but when she took the walk with her mother in the first part she was only 7 years old. The Queen in the story is named Victoria, but is often called Vicki, she used to know the Queen that lived in the castello before her, but who now was gone after being killed da a huge stone after falling of a cliff. Harold is around 20 years old and of course a criminal. Victoria wants to set him in prison for all his crimes...

Normally every morning, Melody would always say good morning to her father.

"Good morning, Melody," detto Eric. But she did not on one Saturday morning.

"Melody, I detto good morning," Eric was feeling a bit hurt. Melody narrowed her eyes at him. She did not utter a single word. Before Eric could reprimand her manners, Ariel announced that pancakes, pancake are ready. Breakfast was also filled uncomfortable silence. Melody poked at her pancakes. Eric only took a few bites of his, feeling awkward.

"Well…," detto Eric, sheepishly as he put his cappotto on. "…I got to go. I'll see te later Miss Benson and...

Charming choked out dirty water as he struggled to stay afloat. He could hear his wife screaming his name somewhere, but the pain in his stomach wouldn't leave his mind alone.
Le Fou was slapping the water with his arms and shouting out nonsense. Among them, Charming heard, "I can't swim!"
Great, Char. Now you're gonna have to do the right thing. He started paddling toward Le Fou but drew back after the pain stung him again. He looked into the black water and saw red coming.
"Le Fou, hold onto Princey!" Gaston yelled.
Le Fou scrambled toward the prince and climbed onto him.
Charming groaned....

I know, plenty of people have did a lista like this and a lot più lists as well so woo-hoo, I'm doing one too. Look at me, I'm joining the crowd. Yay. Anyway, I feel that since this is the mese for Disney Princess Couples on this spot, now would be the perfect time to figure out which couples goes where. I already knew my superiore, in alto two, and now I think I've got all the rest worked out. So sit back, have some popcorn, and enjoy the lista that's probably exactly like a bunch of other people's!

9) Snow White & the Prince♥
Typical to put them down so low, I know. I have nothing against either of...

"Once Upon a Time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess"-
Nope. If you're looking for the cliche fairytale of how a motherless drop dead gorgeous 16 anno old with a horrible life, who then meets a prince, talks to him for a bit, and then marries him the successivo day, this isn't the story for you. For this story doesn't have a typical beginning, nor a typical ending, and very few typical things in between
Our story starts off in a place called Aladora, ever heard of it? Probably not. For Aladora's in an alternate dimension, and is very different from our world. Aladora is nothing but...

YAY I GOT A KEYBOARD FOR MY BIRTHDAY :D
9.Pocahontas, I thought she would at least make it a little higher due to her playfulness and curiosity, but I guess, people say she's too mature and serious.

8.Mulan, I do wonder why she made it this low as well, she's so clumsy and cute at times, but people say she's più cool than cute.

7.Jasmine, people just consider her a spoiled brat.

6.Belle, so many people just find her boring and uninteresting.

5.Tiana, she looks cute, but she's far too serious.

4.Aurora, she does have her cute moments, but she's più graceful and angelic più than anything.

3.Cinderella, she is kind and innocent, but she's a bit più mature.

2.Ariel, She's cute but there are times when she is sassy, and rude.

1.Snow White, IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME SHE WINS SOMETHING!!!!
What do I have to say? She, sweet, innocent and bubbly.
Belle had always considered herself to be a patient person. She was always able to calm her father down when he was complaining about his latest invention being a failure. She generally hid her disdain towards the arrogant Gaston da being courteous and polite, no matter how rude he was acting. Children from the village generally looked to her to help them solve their disagreements with one and other. Yes, it was true that Belle had the gift of patience. But as she had been locked up da a beast and was now waiting on a spoiled princess all in one day, Belle realized that...

Aurora walked around a bit and with a glance of glee, she found the other six princesses sleeping under the tree. “Hello!” Aurora greeted.
“Mmm...mmm…” Snow White replied sleepily, she was not totally awake yet.
“Apparently they don’t hear us,” John Smith told Aurora. “Let me try.”
John Smith walked toward Pocahontas and with a gentle voice, he whispered, “Pocahontas, I am back.”
Pocahontas abruptly woke up, waking up the other six princesses. After she...

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...

An argument that I often hear against Aurora is that she doesn't have many flaws o that they aren't shown very prominently. I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided to compile this lista together of Aurora's flaws. I hope te all enjoy, and as te know this is in no way to bash Aurora, she's my favorite, it's to mostra that she's più dimensional and flawed than some think.

Aurora Is A Pessimist

The first flaw of Aurora is her pessimism. Think about it, when getting the news that she was a princess, instead of jumping for joy like an optimist would do, she cries about it. Instead...
