This articolo is a ranking of the 11 Disney princess films not the princesses from worst to best. I must clarify that I don't think that any Disney princess film is bad but some are definitely better than others. It is completely my opinion. Share yours in the comments.

11. The Princess and the Frog
I was excited for this film because it seemed like a return to form for Disney after a fairly lackluster and forgettable post-renaissance period but sadly I was disappointed da it. The animazione was great and the story was interesting but it could have been so much better. I admit it was better than most of the Disney films released in the 2000s but it was nowhere near as good as the films of the renaissance. For one, the soundtrack was weak and forgettable, none of the songs are particularly memorable and the best two, ''Dig A little Deeper" and the "Down in New Orleans" reprise, were still not that great. Then, the dark tone of the film was a little to much for a Disney movie especially with Facilier and his demon minions and for that matter I didn't like Facilier. Tiana was pretty, intelligent, and hard-working but just a bit boring and unrealistically perfect but Naveen and raggio, ray were good, memorable characters. The setting was nice and i'm happy that Disney returned to princess films but this one was sort of forgettable compared to the others.
10. Cinderella
I used to find this film so boring and predictable but now I admire its simple 50s sophistication but it is still far from being my favorite. The only song that I like is " A Dream Is A Wish Your cuore Makes" because I find the others to be either boring o annoying. The animazione is a bit too flat for my tastes and plain compared to the other Disney princess films and the story isn't particularly exciting so I usually don't watch this film. Their are nice, iconic moments but they are mostly in the secondo half. The mice are annoying and Lady Tremaine is a pretty boring villain since their are plenty of mean old ladies in this world and she doesn't even pay for what she did. Cenerentola is nice and pretty in the typical 50s mold but she is sort of boring and generic compared to the other princesses.
9. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
I have a soft spot for this movie since it's the first Disney film but it is still not anywhere near as exciting as the other princess films. I actually like that the animazione looks like an old painting even if Snow White's mouth sometimes doesn't move, it was the first one so I cut it some slack. Still even as charming as it is, it is still just a sort of test run that paved the way for the later più advanced Disney films. Snow White is nice and cutesy but she doesn't really do much, actually not much happens in this movie. The dwarves are o.k., the prince should have appeared more, the songs were nice but now seem a little old fashioned and Snow White's voice can be a little too squeky but I don't hate it. The best part is definitely the Evil Queen, I Amore her scenes and think she is one of the most memorable villains and pretty creepy as a hag.Disney has come a long way.
8. Pocahontas
I loved this film growing up but now that I look back at it I must admit that it was the worst of the renaissance films but I still like it. The soundtrack is great and so unique and I Amore Pocahontas' Canto voice and think it is the strongest princess Canto voice. The songs are great and memorable but the animazione seems flat, the story was a little predictable and had its flaws and Radcliffe was one of the worst villains from any Disney film. Oh, and John Smith is boring. Still, the sidekicks are memorable and cute and Pocahontas is one of my preferito princesses because she is so strong and different.
7. Beauty and the Beast
Now, don't shoot me. We are all entitled to our opinions and although I think it's a nice, well-made, intelligent, and memorable film it just a bit on the boring side. Belle is just so perfect and typical that she is boring too. Sure, the film has some great songs and characters and nice animazione but it isn't that exciting to me. Gaston doesn't even appear for a good part of the movie and when he does he's just annoying so I don't consider him a good villain and the Belle-Beast romance is nice but predictable.It is all so seemingly perfect but not very fun o new. And Belle is gone all that time and no one goes to look for her. It has its flaws like any other film so I don't see why everyone thinks it is perfect and so amazing although it is elegant and memorable.
6. Tangled
This film gave me hope for Disney's princess films because it is fun, modern, and charming. Yes, it has flaws and yes, the soundtrack is pretty forgettable but the characters save this film. I really liked Rapunzel because she was different, she acted like a real girl. She wasn't too perfect o boring. I also like Flynn, because he was a different sort of prince. He was charming like Naveen and a thief like Aladdin but he was still different from both of them. Gothel and Rapunzel's relationship was also interesting and new and I Amore Pascal. The story just seemed so different and modern from the precedente Disney princess films while still having that magical Disney feeling. Their was action, humor, good characters, and nice animazione so whats not to like.
5. The Little Mermaid
I Amore this film's soundtrack. Their are some greats songs in it and the ending with the "Part of Your World" reprise always gives me goosebumps. I also still can't keep from dancing and Canto along to "Under the Sea". This film's biggest problem is that the animation's coloring seems a bit muted but I like the unique look of the animation. Ariel is one of, if not the most beautiful princess of them all. She is a bit of a careless brat and doesn't think through things but she is 16, so that explains it all. Eric is nice but a bit dumb and boring but Ursula is a great villain and Sebastian is a great, and very funny, character. The story is flawed but sweet and memorable so no wonder this film is so beloved.
4. Sleeping Beauty
Their is something about this film that I just Amore and find so timeless. The animazione is beautiful and stands out from every other Disney film and Maleficent is without a doubt my preferito Disney villain. She is both elegant and oh so evil. Everyone in the film is memorable except for Aurora. Disney really dropped the ball with her. She is beautiful and has a gorgeous, operatic voice but she does absolutely nothing except sing, dance, and touch the spinning wheel and only appears for 18 minutes. Still, Philip was the first prince who was dato a bigger part and the fate were great and who can forget "Once Upon a Dream".
3. Aladdin
Another film with a great soundtrack and great, memorable characters. The only main character that I never cared for much was gelsomino because she is even più bratty than Ariel and doesn't do that much. She's not that memorable but that's fine since she is not the protagonist. Aladdin, Abu, Jafar, Genie, and Iago are some of the best Disney characters ever, each with a unique sense of humor and good voices. The animazione and story are also nice and their are several very memorable scenes.
2. Frozen
This extremely popular(for a reason) film has fantastic animation, wonderful characters and the first good soundtrack since Tarzan. The story is fun, memorable and unpredictable and my biggest problem was that I felt that it rushed some parts and felt a little short overall. Still, the fact that this is Disney's most successful film isn't surprising because ,flaws aside, this film felt like a renaissance film. It has the charm and magic of one of those films but with a nice modern feel as well. The songs are pretty good especially "Let it Go" and my favorite, the catchy and fun "Love is an Open Door". I like that the characters act modern and while I think that Elsa's character could have been developed più and Hans was mean but could have been più evil this film is still a great return to form for Disney and a sign that a new renaissance is in place and even better things are in store.
1. Mulan
Finally, my all-time preferito Disney princess film. I Amore everything about this film and that's not just because I Amore Asian things. Mulan is my preferito princess because she is a true warrior and a great role model. She is brave, strong, beautiful, unique, and even though she isn't really a princess she is better than all of them. She also acts like a normal person would and is definitely not perfect. The songs are great especially "I'll Make a Man Out Of You" and the characters are very memorable and fun. The story is so different and exciting and filled with humor that I don't see how anyone can dislike this film. The animazione is great and the villains is downright scary. Really, this film is fantastic. I don't have any problems with it.
