"There's no one else in the castello for me to interact with... wait, what?"
"There's no one else in the castle for me to interact with... wait, what?"
The first time I saw Frozen, I felt as bad for Elsa and Anna as anyone. After all, their parents chose to keep Anna's erased memories of her sister's powers, separated them da moving Elsa out of Anna's room, reduced the staff and shut the gates so no one could learn about Elsa's powers, etc. The girls grew up in a dark, mostly empty castle. Elsa was kept isolated from everyone with only her parents to constantly coach her, and Anna was kept isolated without anyone at all.

Then their parents died, leaving them not knowing how to get on without them. Elsa was the heir but could not rule since a) she still had her powers that she couldn't control, b) had been so isolated and drilled with fear growing up that she was in no mental o emotional condition to break her parents' mold.

But poor Anna! At least Elsa has a REASON to keep her bedroom door and the castello gates shut! At least Elsa KNOWS why they have to stay isolated. Poor Anna is isolated without even knowing why!

Then I slowly started to realize... Why is Anna so lonely? Her parents may have reduced the castello staff, but they didn't get rid of them entirely. Even if there are less people to talk to, there are still people around. Even if Elsa shut her out and Anna's parents are too busy focusing on Elsa to spend time with her, Anna can still hang out with the servants as they dust, mop, prepare meals, wash clothes, trim the gardens, etc. In fact, when Elsa flees and Anna orders someone to fetch her horse, te already know they have stable masters, grooms and stable boys to take care of the royal horses, since Anna doesn't have to brush, saddle, o briglia the horse herself.

Then link gave even further Cibo for thought: "Given Anna’s natural boisterousness, unless Arendelle is really classist, I find it hard to imagine she didn’t interact with and even make Friends among the castello staff, whom we know exist."

I hadn't really considered classism up till that point, but it makes unfortunate sense. We know there are servants because we see them. We hear the male staff member (perhaps the chamberlain o butler?) wake Anna through the door, we see the servants bringing out "a thousand insalata plates," and after Elsa flees we see Anna call for a servant to fetch her horse, and it's brought to her fully saddled and ready to go. We know the staff exists... so how come Anna doesn't seem to think they exist?

As Grace Randolph points out in her review of Frozen, link: "We [Elsa and Anna] have these servants that don't even have names o personalities."

Now, te can say that we, the audience, don't learn the servants' names o personalities because they aren't important to the story. But then, since Anna is the main character, what's important to her is what's important to the story. Her sister, opening the gates, her crush-turned-fiance, etc. If the staff aren't important enough to learn even basic names o personality traits, like we do of Maudy from Ribelle - The Brave (the put-upon maid who's constantly tormented da the triplets), then that means they aren't important enough to Anna. And I'm sorry, but that's... classist.

When te think about it, Anna never really looks at, talks to, o acknowledges the staff. They talk to her through the door, she runs past them in her excitement for the windows and doors being opened, and she calls out for one to fetch her horse from a distance, but there is no interpersonal interaction. While Anna sings link, she runs past the servants like they're part of the furniture in the castle. In fact, Anna interacts with the furniture più than the people. She shows più interpersonal connections with the Suits of armor, statues, and paintings on the bacheca than she does the real people walking da her.

So if Anna is lonely enough that she feels her whole life is just empty halls and closed doors and her ONLY company growing up has been paintings and Suits of armor... She either had no servants to spend time with, o she's so classist they don't count. We know the former isn't true, so the latter...?

And I don't even think classism is the answer. As Anna says to the ducklings in the courtyard: "I can't wait to meet everyone!" And she's shown happily interacting with peasants with her sister after the gates have been opened at the end. So Anna is all right spending time with people below her station. So, why don't the staff count?

Honestly, I think Anna's intense loneliness is a plot hole.

As Dani Colman notes in her aforementioned link article: "Anna has to endure three years of — at worst — relative isolation, and she emerges so desperate for Amore that she gets engaged to literally the first young man she meets. It isn't so much ridiculous because it’s a stupid thing to do; it’s ridiculous because a girl that obsessed with finding Amore should already have a crush on a cute stable-boy." (Bolded da me.)

I must agree. We see that Anna is elated to interact with the peasants that come through the castello gates, and we see that she's open-minded enough to politely request things of Oaken in his spa (as opposed to haughtily demanding) and fall in Amore with Kristoff the ice harvester. If she's open-minded enough to like people despite their class, shouldn't she have already befriended the staff? Enough that the gates opening is a pleasant change, not The One Chance she has to interact with real people o fall in love?

Speaking of the gates: Why are their being closed so detrimental to Anna's social life? Yes, the castello is dark, mostly deserted, and boring. However, as noted da the link, Anna "spends three years of her adult life shut inside a castle... Even though she can leave at any time. *clip of Anna walking right outside the castello gates where people are gathered*"

This made me realize how even più trivial, o at least poorly explained, an obstacle the closed castello gates are. Unless the sisters are under house arrest, Anna should be able to physically leave the castello at any time. We see that it's right in the middle of a port city, filled with crowded streets and buildings. We also see that Anna has plenty of free time since she spent most of her life in the empty halls, staring at the walls, watching time tick by. (Where were her nurses, nannies, o tutors?)

If Anna has time and freedom to just sit around feeling bored, shouldn't she also be able to use that time interacting with servants o physically leaving the castello (either through walking o riding) to go hang out where the people are?

It's not like she's constantly monitored like Jasmine, who always has "people who tell te where to go and how to dress," and who is not allowed outside the palace bacheca because, in her father's words, "You're a princess!" And it's not like Anna's imprisoned in a castello in the middle of the forest like Belle, o locked in a tower in the middle of a ravine like Rapunzel. The former of whom is bound da her word and the latter of whom is constantly manipulated da her "mother" to stay. All three of whom go against orders and leave when the desire becomes great enough. gelsomino sneaks out in the middle of the night, Belle tries to run away but goes back to the Beast out of gratitude for saving her life, and Rapunzel only intended to see the lanterns and then go home before her "mother" tricked her into thinking the man she loves was only using her so she'd feel so crushed she'd want to retreat back.

I just find Anna's lifelong loneliness and isolation poorly explained, the più I think about it. Anna claims there's no one to spend time with after her sister shuts her out, but there's castello staff she should be able to spend time with. Based on her very friendly, boisterous, and open-minded personality, she should have already befriended them. If not them, there's literally nothing stopping her from going outside the castello gates and spending time with her people periodically. Sure, the castello itself is mostly empty and boring, but it's not like she's under house arrest o stranded in the middle of the wilderness.

And if she is classist o under house arrest, it was poorly explained.
 These people don't count.
These people don't count.

Hi guys, since nobody had done this, what te guys are going to read are possible future hairstyles for a princess. Ready?

Rose Bukater's 2 Hairstyles

Only 2 hairstyles made it as a possible hairstyle for a princess, especially if it's a princess from the Victorian o Edwardian Era set in Europe! I just Amore these 2 hairstyles as it looks very classy.

Scarlett O Hara's 2 Hairstyles

Another possible choice for the a princess, initially I had great difficulties over which one is the best. But ultimately, both are the best like Rose!

Liesl Von Trapp's Hairstyle

Honestly, this is the only hairstyle that I really like, it looks simple and yet elegant.

The Choice is Up to You!

So, do te agree with the choice that I made?

ciao fellow Disney princess fans! I'm isabellagirl033 and the idea for this articolo just came to me out of the blue. In this articolo I'll determine which princess has the best of each feature.

Best Hair: Aurora

Aurora's hair has just the perfect volume and the beautiful color of buttercup. The curls suit her really well and the length is perfect.

Best Face Shape: Rapunzel

Not too bold yet not too soft. The face shape works really well giving Rapunzel a innocent and youthful look and Suits her personality.

Best Eyes and Eyebrows: Belle

The eyebrows have just the right thickness. Belle's...

I'm always interested in Disney Princesses' wardrobes and thought that there is hardly any prominence dato to their jewelry department. Well, what's a princess without some jewels (and tiaras, which i'll be doing in another article). So I crafted this articolo to imagine their signature jewels and a glimpse into their collection.

Snow White: Pearl
Pearls are linked with innocence and helps to see life through the eyes of compassion. It is also known for its purity. Snow White being the most innocent and fairest of all makes a perfect fit with pearls. Pearls are also often seen in the light of...

For a group of people that claim to be supporting of all women and their ventures, the mistreatment that the classic princesses very often get from them is rather surprising. To a majority of feminists, the women they are catering to is the new-age, I can do it all superwoman. They believe that all women should fit into that box and if they don't, they're deprived,...

I am bored and it's been a while since I've written a non-poll based article, so why not? Just so te know, I am not going to make their professions crap like "fast Cibo worker" o "housekeeper", because that would be kind of unfair. I will do things based on their talents.

This is entirely MY OPINION, so don't get upset if we differ, though I've never really had any problems with people on here.

Snow White: Zoologist

A zoologist is someone who studies animali in their natural habitat, something that I believe would be the perfect job for Snow White. Snow is obviously an animal person so...

Who doesn't Amore travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I Amore travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would Amore to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

I Amore art! I Amore culture, history, Musica and I Amore art. I have done some posts and sondaggi about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would Amore the most. (I could probably find a furgone, van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Okay so I tried to seek others' opinions for this who connect with Merida più than I do. I realized that there are articoli on here for the ranking of every princess except for Merida and I didn't think there should be any reason for her to be excluded. I always found these articoli to be so neat though so I hope the Merida-fans will appreciate this. I'm completely open to any changes with più input.

12. Aurora: General consensus seems to be that Merida would get along with Aurora the absolute least, most likely for their opposite in characters. Aurora rates duty, grace/manners, love/romance...

This was the solo gelsomino was originally going to sing in Aladdin. It is included in the Broadway adaptation <3.

"Call Me A Princess" is a song intended to be sung da Princess gelsomino in Aladdin. In her early development she was supposed to be a typical, spoiled, bratty princess, and this song focused in on that. The developers scrapped the idea along with this song to make gelsomino the headstrong, compassionate woman we know today. If this song wasn't deleted it would have been the first solo song sung da Jasmine, but now that titolo belongs to the song I've Got My Eyes on You.

The song was...

Anna and Elsa, please sing this song in the sequel!!!
Hi everyone, after Leggere about a deleted song "Life's Too Short". This gave me an idea to write another "deleted" song called Amore Can't Be Denied which was composed da Alan Menken prior leaving the project when the movie was under it's original title.
Now, I have been having trouble about who would actually sing this song if it was in the final film itself. Whether it's going to the famous sisters o Kristoff towards Anna. However, I felt that the song should have been più for both Anna and Elsa, since the lyrics fits them personally especially the latter.
Unfortunately, I have a slight...
