Afew days later, Merida got a letter from her mom. "It got to her!" she detto about her own letter. The letter said:
"Dear Merida, I'm doing well. I'm so glad you're having a good time in China! I've thought about te asking to help with this new child, and I'll let te try it. Though, I'll only have te help me when I need it, because te need your rest too. The boys are so excited about their new brother o sister! We Amore te and can't wait for te to get home!
Sincerely, your mother, Elanor."
Even though Merida didn't get the best answer about helping, she was still satisfied with it. She placed the letter on a scrivania, reception carefully and went to Pocahontas' room. "How are ye doin'?" she asked. "I wish I could be of help." Pocahontas answered. Pocahontas felt like a bother when she wasn't able to help out. "The doctor's need te to stay in letto for at least one più day." Merida replied. A doctor had come da the house earlier that morning.
"The only thing that's been helping me spiritually is John." Pocahontas stated shrugging her shoulders. "I'm glad you're back with him now. John Rolfe wasn't right for you." Merida said. She and Mulan were the first people to recognize that fact. If te ask Mulan about Rolfe, she could tell te all sorts of things she hated about him! "You and Mulan are the only ones who really gave me strength after what he did to me." Pocahontas replied. About that time, Mulan and Merida were on a walk one night while visiting Pocahontas when they caught him cheating on her with another English woman in the Jamestown colony! Pocahontas didn't believe them, but when she saw for herself, she was devastated.
"I'm glad my father banished him from our land." she said. That also led to her to think about "other things" they did. (A/N I'm going to let te decide what they are.) "What are te guys talking about?" Mulan asked. "Rolfe." Pocahontas and Merida detto in usion. "UGH! That foul invasol!" Mulan screeched. "Mulan, calm down. He's back in Londra now." Pocahontas reassured. "Still, that doesn't stop me from wanting to hunt him down and make him want to pay!" Mulan replied angrily. Oh yeah-when talking to Mulan about Rolfe, try not to make her angry!
Merida could help but giggle. "It's not funny Merida!" Mulan yelled. "Whoa, Mulan! Take it easy!" Merida advised. Mulan pretty much acted like an angry Merida when it came to Rolfe. She took a deep breath. "You're right. I guess I'm still getting over my head." she said. "Yeah. It's not like HE'S gonna come to China and hunt down Pocahontas NOW." Merida detto awkwardly. Pocahontas suddenly felt herself get faint. "Come on. Let's not accidentally make her blackout." Mulan suggested as they walked to the kitchen. Pocahontas advised herself to lie back down for afew minutes. Yet, without even realizing it, she had fallen asleep.
