Here's my quick ranking on original DP films in part 1 of this articolo series. Part 2 will follow with all the sequels, prequels and shorts. Hope you'll enjoy it!

12. Princess and the frog:
I found the script to be very lazily written, with no wow moments to remember and no surprising twists. The movie crawled at deathly slow pace, making me skip scenes in between. The animazione was pretty average with nothing memorable except a few scenes in bayou and death of Dr. Facilier. I found the sett ups to be unflattering and lacked the Disney magic feel to it. The best set-up from the entire movie was the Bayou wedding. The chemistry between Tiana and Naveen was also not emotional enough for me to remember it and their moment of Amore declaration was just flat. This is one of those Film I have forgotten way too easily and have no fond memories. The best part of this Film is its jazz Musica that brings a little upbeat feel to it, else it makes me feel drowsy all the way.

11. Cinderella:
There are some beautiful moments to this movie but complessivamente, generale this again is a very slow paced script, not many pleasant surprises to look inoltrare, avanti to and the mice sequences are just annoying to watch. The best scenes are transformation and the ballroom dance. Amore the classic ending as well. Amore the songs "A dream is a wish your cuore makes" and "So this is love". animazione was very pleasing to watch but apart from Lady Tremaine, no other character is memorable enough. The mice sequences really put me off to watch it again.

10. Snow white and the seven dwarfs:
The script is great with twists and turns, a good mix of emotional, fun, drama sequences. Great characters - Evil Queen and Seven Dwarfs. I have learnt to respect the movie over the time because it was the first movie from Disney's folio and set the trend but it doesn't excite me enough to watch it again and again. There's no deep thoughts involved in characters o script's flow and is pretty straight inoltrare, avanti to leave any scope of seeing it differently, once seen. And i really don't enjoy Snow's voice.

9. Pocahontas:
Again, a beautiful movie with its amazing animation, a good script (though historically incorrect), a great message, beautiful songs but where it lacks is its characters. There's no arc to any of the characters. I hated Poca;s and John's chemistry, it is so unconvincing and I completely failed to see what makes John so easily convinced with Poca's lifestyle. I loved this movie when I first watched it but ever since it is going down and down only. Instead of growing onto me, it has receded from my memories. There just isn;t any high point in the movie, everything is moving at the same pace in same tonality. The emotions are so muted to make it look mature that nothing remains memorable - not Kocoum's death, not Pocahontas meeting John, not the war.

8. Frozen:
Apart from the sloppy script, i actually quite enjoy many things in this movie. animazione is beautiful, Arendelle is so gorgeously done capturing Norway's serenity inits truest essence. There are so many moments that makes me go aww, o make me cry, surprises me, makes me laugh. I Amore many characters - Anna, Olaf, Kristoff. There's an interesting arc to the villain with its deceiving double attraversare, croce strategy. The relationship of Anna and Elsa is just a treat to watch - from childhood fun to growing apart to finding trust again. I Amore Anna and Kristoff's romance, organic and natural. I think Olaf is such a creative and original character written in years. I;m not really a fan of its songs though, my only preferito here is " Do te wanna build a snowman ". I'd have preferred Elsa's character to have been più thoroughly written. Her fear can be understood but why she suddenly seems to blow it all at coronation is just out of my understanding. Anti-climax is interesting and memorable with Hans doing a double attraversare, croce with 2 sisters and Olaf helping Anna. Climax is also sweet, with Anna sacrificing herself over choosing Kristoff, high on drama and emotions. I like the happy ending too, Duke being sent off, Kristoff and Anna being together, Elsa being comfortable with her powers and Arendelle is sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza and happy place.
What troubles me the trigger point of this movie - Elsa loosing her cool at coronation, which was very forced. It was least convincing reason and sudden Elsa's proclaim as the Ice Queen.

7. The Little Mermaid:
Coming to Film that I completely Amore and adore. Amazing animation, characters are so memorable and endearing to watch - Ariel, Eric, Ursula, Flounder, songs are so awesome - Part of Your World and Under the Sea are evergreen songs from Disney, script is superbly written with great turns and surprises, full of fun, excitement, emotions and romance. The movie is full of wow moments - Part of your world reprise, baciare the girl set-up. The only reason it is bit low on my lista is my personal less liking of the plot-line of a hopeless romantic teenager, fighting against an over-protective parent. Its typically a teenage romance drama and as a grown-up I find it less exciting to watch it over and over again.

6. Mulan:
An amazing movie with a wonderful story line of a girl wanting to bring honor to her family. I Amore how the story progresses and develops a bit da bit, with characters nicely woven into the movie and everyone having a convincing role and screen time that fits them perfectly. I Amore Mulan and Shang's chemistry, i Amore Mulan's different bonding with her different family members. Funny and memorable sidekicks - Mushu, Grandma, Army friend's of Mulan. Villain, Shan Yu, also has a well written, crisp dialogues and an impressionable personality. The flow of the movie is full of turns and surprises, have its beautiful and touching moments. The climax has all the drama - action and emotions powerfully woven together. I Amore its happy ending of Shang coming to propose Mulan and, short and sweet and very much endearing. And how Mulan presents the sword to her father, with his eyes filled with pride, make me go "aww". Great songs that supports the story and builds the momentum. I Amore how Mulan's and everyone's character develops in such a well thought-through way over the course of the movie, many people tend to miss Mulan's growth from the clumsy, under-confident girl to a respectful, strong, independent woman. I find it only a tad bit less on entertaining factor, only a tad bit.

5. Sleeping Beauty:
One of the most well-executed movies. The plot was so exciting and thrilling, full of turning points throughout the movie. The story develops in crisply written sequences and leave no room for it to become boring in long, lazy, unnecessary situations. Movie is filled with charming dance sequence, sweet and dreamy romance, witty sidekicks, amazing action sequences and high drama of Villain's entry and anti-climax of losing the princess to spell. Climax is also crisp and beautifully executed with a deserving fight between prince and the villain. And I simply adore the ending with happily ever after with a twist of witty touch - making Aurora's toga, abito go to-and-fro between rosa and blue. Characters of Maleficent and 3 good fate are forever etched in my mind, one of the best DP characters ever created. My only regret with this movie is that it gave so less attention to Aurora's character. I think she has a great potential and should be explored da Disney even more.

4. Tangled:
I can watch this movie over and over and over and never get bored with it. A beautiful classic story with an amazing twist to characters. I simply Amore the progress of the story with Rapunzel dreaming and being denied, stumbling upon Eugene as a way out and how she grows in outside world. Sidekicks are nicely cued in - the bar thugs and Maximus. I Amore Eugene's and Rapunzel's chemistry - from naughty to trust and loving. Mother Gothel is a great villain and Amore Pascal's role as Rapunzel's confidante. I like how villain is actually in know of everything and is a step ahead of the protagonists. The redemption arc of Eugene is endearing to watch. Movie is full of adventurous twists with pleasing and funny moments along with stunning animation. Pascal and Eugene are very entertaining and has brilliant comic timing. Songs are a delight to listen to. I Amore the growth of Rapunzel's character as well - very relatable and believable. One of the best anti-climax with Eugene being imprisoned and Rapunzel returns to tower with Rapunzel going through self-realization. I always break down into tears at climax - with Rapunzel and Eugene saving each other's life. It is one of the most powerfully executed scene. My slightest of regret is how kingdom wasn't seen actively searching for their Lost princess, over the entire movie.

3. Brave:
This story is a replica of my childhood and is very close to my heart. I Amore Merida's relation with her parents and her fiercely independent personality. I Amore the story's progress with a turning point diviso, spalato and detailed in couple of sequence - breaking of betrothel news to Merida, Merida's rebel against marriage, Elinor turns into a bear. I Amore Merida's redemption arc from a whiny brat to a matured grown-up. I Amore how this Film focuses on one of the most common issue among parents and child - communication and expectation gap. I always break down at the climax with Merida losing hope for his mother. Movie also shows an interesting sub-plot of Mor'Du. I Amore the concept of Scrivere your own destiny as the movie's message. Stunning animazione of Scottish Highlands and such a unique Musica of Scottish Gaelic, Amore both of them.

2. Beauty and the Beast:
A stunning masterpiece with grand animation, memorable characters, a crisp and moving storyline and amazing music. I Amore Belle's and Beast's chemistry and their relationship growth. It grows on me, watching them learn to trust each other and finding Amore out of misery and anger. There are so many moments in the movie, where one goes "awww" - Beast gifting Belle library, and sometimes it makes me cry - Beast let Belle go. One of the best WOW moment was the data of Beast and Belle, etched in my mind forever. I Amore Beast's complex character - he has rude, sometimes understanding, sometimes like a child taking advise from Mrs Potts and finally matures to learn to Amore and become responsible. One of the most memorable sidekicks - Lumiere and Cogsworth are one of the best duos. I Amore the message that one should not judge the book da its cover.

1. Aladdin:
Entertaining as hell! There's never been a time when I wouldn't have wanted to watch this movie. I Amore the concept of Arabian nights adventures, mostrare the land filled with mystical and magical things. I Amore Agrabah's palace, inspired from Taj Mahal. The best characters ever - Genie, Abu, Carpet, Jafar, Aladdin, Jasmine. The romance is only a backdrop to the thrilling adventure of finding Genie's lamp and he's nothing like the one I had the impression of, but much much più than that. Aladdin is also my preferito prince, I just Amore his character for his brave, generous, under the skin sweet nature, Amore how he fumbles when he's nervous to express and so confident at other times. The story line is full of wow moments - emotional and animazione both. Musica is so unique and beautiful. Overall, one of the best Film produced da Disney, imo.

On the Ninth giorno of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Nine Ships are sailing

eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

If te ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this mese - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage giorno which would have most likely...

In case te haven't noticed yet, when I put this calendar together, my goal was to make it as international as possible..meaning, it wasn't supposed to feature the holidays of a specific country, it was supposed to feature holidays which are as widely as possible celebrated, o at least well-known. I also tried to find holidays which could be in some way be related to a princess. Hence I picked Rapunzel for May.

As te can see, I...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 o 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the anno after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the domanda is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

 Anastasia and Dmitri
Anastasia and Dmitri
Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last articolo that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both Anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like Anastasia became Cenerentola because she was like the Lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet da Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The Musica box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

11. Aurora
Ever since I was a little kid Aurora didn't leave much of an impact. I've always hated the whole "love at first sight" deal so I really don't like that she quickly falls in Amore with literally the first guy she meets and then gets all upset that she can't see him anymore after only meeting him once for a few seconds. Then there's the fact that for the rest of the movie she's asleep so there's nothing else we get to know about her.

She is really pretty, I've always loved her design and her dresses...

Emeraldine sighed. Of all tables, why did she have to serve that one? This had to be some kind of test.

She shoved her pencil and pad into her grembiule and approached them.

"Hi," she detto awkwardly.

When the guy at the tavolo finally looked up from his menu, his eyes bulged in surprise.

"Esmeralda! Do te work here?"

"My name is Emeraldine," the waitress replied through gritted teeth. "And yes."

He would remember that if he'd paid a speck of attention on their data last week.

"Sorry I haven't called," Jason avoided her eyes. "Work has been busy."

"I can see that," Emeraldine mumbled as she glanced at the...
