 Loving this movie.
Loving this movie.
Okay, I was watching the 2012 version of Les Miserables last night and I had seen the 2015 reboot of Cenerentola last month. Both Film have a common theme with each other: Forgiveness. The characters also play a similar traits to each other.

Cinderella

While watching this movie last month, I keep thinking that the story reminds me of Les Miserables! Aside from the same filming location of France, certain scenes and characters remind of some characters from Les Miserables.
For example, during the scene after Lady Tremaine and the 2 stepsisters called Ella da her trademark name, Cinderella. The latter went to the cucina and cried, that moment reminds me of I Dreamed a Dream where Fantine sings about her dream gets turn into a nightmare, the same with Ella.
Lady Tremaine and her daughters reminds me of Madame Thenadier and Eponine respectively, especially during castello on a nube, nuvola and On my Own during the dress ripping scene and the fitting the glass scene respectively.
Prince Kit reminds me of Marius and Enjolras because he played a most proactive role in the movie, the same with the latter. Kit's and Ella's dad reminds me of Monsieur Gillenormand and Valjean respectively, sadly Ella's dad died and he only gets like 30 minuti of screen-time in the beginning.
Finally, as Ella and Kit were about to leave, the former forgives her stepmother for her abusive tendencies towards Ella, sadly they were exiled along with the Grand Duke for attempting conspiracy.

Les Miserables

Okay, as I mentioned, certain things reminds me of Cinderella. The latter reminds me of lot of Cossette, because both of them are cheerful and optimistic, it was only during the abusive scene with her stepmother and Madame Thenadier that we have no choice but to feel sorry for them!
Javert reminds me of the Grand Duke due to their authoritarian tendencies, the only difference is that the latter is also like a chameleon like Hans. While the former is very straightforward, the grand duke was banished in the end for conspiracy while Javert chose death as his option.
Valjean also forgives Javert, because although the latter was doing his job. Valjean believes that forgiving will change him, but it did not and poor Javert committed suicide as mentioned.

I Dreamed a Dream

Well, this is another interesting comparison after Phantom of the Opera with Beauty and the Beast. Hope that te guys see the movie and the stage version of Les Miserables, then te will know what I meant.
 Cossette and Marius.

We 've learned a lot of lessons about live from Disney Princesses. We've learned the importance of support, the romance and the patience,
For Example, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora,
They believe in their princes and are patient. Snow White is definately just like women of precedente eras with their romances. She's shy and hides from the prince just like precedente eras girls as talking to men was probably considered innapropriate in precedente eras and that was probably what most women in her era did. They had no other choice that being patient and believe in their Amore interest. And furthemore, dream...

Now that I've seen Frozen, here's my lista as it currently stands. Certain princesses have grown on me, others have fallen. This lista isn't really concrete though.

13. Merida
The only princess I truly dislike. To me, she's the equivalent of Princess Fiona from Shrek, just a Disney Princess parody. A cookie cutter cliche. There's successivo to nothing unique about her, and the few unique traits that she does have are awful ones, bad etiquette. Yeah, so for me, Merida is the redheaded stepchild of the DP line-up. Sorry.

12. Aurora
A regal and ethereal goddess with the voice of an angel. The epitome...

Yesterday, wrote an articolo about my grievances with Merida and Brave, it's been deleted. I realized kind of being unreasonable and unfair to both Merida and her movies. Paying only attention to the negative, ignoring the positive and blowing the negative out of proportion. I don't wanna be a negative Nancy and biased hater. Because then I'd be the type of fan I despise. Especially Ariel haters. So let me start over, with what I like about Merida and Brave.

What I like
-Her relationship with her mother is very well down, and very realistic. And to me, the only bright spot about the movie and...

There are lots of synonyms for selfishness. Try any dictionary online, o a hard copy (remember those?), and te can see that these words share exactly the same meaning, if only stated in slightly different ways:
egoistic (also egoistical), egomaniacal, egotistic (or egotistical), narcissistic, self-absorbed, self-centered,self-concerned, self-infatuated, self-interested, self-involved, egocentric, self-loving, self-obsessed, self-oriented, self-preoccupied, self-regarding, self-seeking, self-serving, solipsistic ( credit provided to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary online link). The small unsavory...

I'm not at all confident in this list, but either way I Amore talking about the princesses and thought this articolo was long overdue (Well I've only been here..what? Two weeks? Eh, it still feels long overdue to me). ^^ Beforehand I'd like to say that I Amore all the princesses, even my least favorite. As a group the princesses mean so much to me and as individuals I Amore them all to pieces, so don't feel bad if your preferito is low! The lista is also divided into three sections because within those sections I'm really not sure how the princesses rate, but I know they're somewhere around that...

Since I did an articolo about my preferito Princesses I thought what the heck! why not do an articolo about the Prince's after what is a Princess without her except Merida and Elsa of course :)

11- Prince
While this prince is sweet and kind like his princess having only one cuore and one both for her sadly we don't get to see much of him and therefore it's somewhat hard
to depict much of his personality.

10- Prince Charming
Like the Prince I'm afraid for me falls into the same barca unless even with the sequels I find it hard to depict his personality except that he is very determined and daring...
