 Tonight! Tonight!
Tonight! Tonight!
Hi guys, since there was a sondaggio about these 2 movies. It would be interesting if I were to compare both movies.

Pocahontas

Okay, many of te all know about her real-life story. However, in the Disney adaptation of her life. She first set eyes on John Smith, to whom she will save later on in the movie.
When I watched this film again, they remind me of both Maria & Tony due to the fact that they are of different ethnicity and difficult complications arose when both parties declare war with each other.
During the fight between John Smith & Kocuum, the scene resembles to the Rumble between the Sharks and the Jets. Only this time, John didn't died but was taken in da the tribe for falsely killing Kocuum. John was only injured at the end instead.
Nakoma reminds me of Anita, unlike the latter, Nakoma was not rape and being mocked da the others. She was più of a passive version of Anita, whereas Anita was più upset because Bernardo died at the hands of Riff.

West Side Story

This movie was a modern version of Romeo & Juliet and Pocahontas, only this time it's the Puerto Rican The squalo and the American The Jets. The songs are very amazing and catchy that I could not get them out of my head!
Secondly, I always feel bad for Anita because she tried to overcome her grief that Bernardo died and that she was raped afterwards da the Jets while passing the message to Tony. Only to passed the false one to them shortly after Doc came in time to stop them! Poor Tony got killed in the end da Chino.
Like Pocahontas, it also carries a message about racism and prejudice. Especially, during the ending when Maria gave her rant after Tony died. It was very heart-wrenching to watch!

Somehow, Somewhere!

Well, while both Film are very sad, especially West Side Story. Check both Film out and te will cry your cuore out!

Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see Mulan getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother...

I Amore how wise she is, her Canto voice, and how she wants to help her people and the settlers live peacefully -BB2010

Her curiousity. -Swanpride

She is independent, brave, curious and fun. She is such a strong person but te can still feel that her personality is changing during the movie. She was pretty playeful, free and daring at the begining and she really matured and became più wise and calm at the end. And I really appreciate her gorgeous looks, Amore her unique yet beautiful design, also her Canto voice is my preferito DP Canto voice :) -tiffany88

Sorry, I am so late answering this....

Belle yelled in surprise as Phillipe bolted, causing her to go flying through the air and land unceremoniously on her back. She lay there, winded, trying to catch her breath.

She was about to call for Phillipe when she realised he had turned around and cantered away immediately after throwing her off. She didn't know what had provoked such erratic behavior. She usually wasn't the one to ride him, but he was as friendly to her as to her father. He had always been a well-mannered horse. For him to behave in this manner showed there was something very wrong going on. Her father was in trouble.

She...

On the Eleventh giorno of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eleven birds-a-flying

Ten Spices Boiling
Nine Ships are sailing
eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree

I can't express enough how much I agonized over this one. The one thing I knew from the get go was that I wanted to use this picture and none other for the calendar. It was the one which inspired me to cerca for murals and use them as motive.

But the holiday was the thing which really threw me into a loop, mostly because...

In 2013 Frozen took the world da (ice) storm, it was everywhere. Let it Go played on the radio constantly, te couldn't go to a store without seeing Frozen merch, everyone was talking about it, many thought it was one of Disney's best Film in a long time.

Then the backlash began...

People got sick of all the Frozen after a while, even now there's still Frozen all over the place and people tend to roll their eyes when someone even mentions Frozen. The thing is, nothing about the movie o characters had changed, it was still a good movie with a decent soundtrack, interesting characters, and...

 Our heroes.

Hi everyone, I got my laptop back and I had just watched Frozen II with Prasert. According to him, he detto that it's even better than the first one, but he was disappointed that there were no bad guys in it! Anyway, here is my review on the film. Enjoy!

The Story

Okay, so we get to see più of Elsa's and Anna's parents and the origins of Elsa's ice power. In fact, when King Agnarr was young during the flashback. Prasert pointed out that he looks like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon! I could not believe it.
The story is più dark in a contrast to the first one, because we get the Maleficent...

Anastasia and Dmitri
Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last articolo that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both Anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like Anastasia became Cenerentola because she was like the Lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet da Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The Musica box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
So, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this movie scared me when I was little because of how scary some of the animazione was. When this movie was released on dvd for the first time in 2002 o 2003, I didn't want to watch it because I thought I was still going to be scared of it. But then my stepmom...

Tonight's rewatch: Both Frozen shorts
Last time watched: 2018

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I detto before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of Frozen haters call these shorts cash cows and detto the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched Frozen Fever about a week o two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's Frozen Adventure around Natale time last anno and, again, loved it!

Why I love...
