I know Frozen isn't part of the Disney Princess franchise but this movie was on the lista of Film to watch for months before I finally started doing these articoli so please just go with it. o don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen
Last time watched: 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, più like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when Disney released childrens libri that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers, a mese o two before the movie actually released. I didn't read the book but a user was oh so kind enough to go on the Disney Princess spot's bacheca and announce that to everyone so then I Lost even più interest. It wasn't until the movie came out and everyone was talking about it and going on about how good it was that I decided to go see it. Here's how much I liked it; I watched it 3 times in theaters (once with my oldest sister, once on my birthday with my husband, and one più time with my mom and niece when I was feeling depressed). It was almost 4 once Disney released the sing along version but I didn't have a ride to the movie theater so I had to sit that one out. Eventually my hype for the movie kinda died but I still Amore listening to the soundtrack over and over again and I still like getting merch every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:
As I've detto before in my articolo about the Cenerentola remake, since I watched this movie somewhat recently there isn't much about this movie I forgot.

And since we're getting to the Film I haven't watched that long fa (next one will be a movie I watched in 2015) I've decided to start talking about the things I Amore about the Film I've recently watched. It won't be different from me talking about how much I forgot since I talk about how much I Amore those Film too anyway.

The only thing I really forget about this movie is how things weren't even explained properly like how Elsa got her powers in the first place o how even after the movie made it clear that she couldn't control her powers she suddenly knew how to create a palace and alter her dress and make sentient snow creatures o how Elsa could have kept her powers secret from everyone when there had to have been news of a princess having ice powers, right? At least with Rapunzel's magic hair the only one who knew was Mother Gothel.

Why I Amore this movie so much:
So first, I'll be talking about the personal reasons for why I loved this movie so much. At the time this movie released one of my sisters was going through a rough time (not going to give any details) so I wasn't seeing that much anymore. Elsa and Anna reminded me so much of my relationship with my sister because we used to be so close when we were little but as she got older we drifted apart. We're fine now but it was still such an emotional time and watching Frozen helped me with what I was going through.

The way Elsa was in this movie reminded me so much of me too. I've had depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember and I'm prone to panic/anxiety attacks and I was alone for most of my life because I was different from other kids and was called a freak. I know I sound like a broken record when I say this but Let it Go did help me with my depression and would help me feel better with what I was going through at the time. And I remember when I first watched the movie even I was thinking, "Wait, what?" when Anna detto yes to Hans' proposal so early in the movie. I don't have an issue with the use of True Love's baciare in the earlier Film o couples getting married at the end of their Film even after knowing each other for a few days because those are Film about romance and fairy tales and at least for most of these couples we spend an entire movie getting to know these characters. Hans and Anna getting engaged so early in the movie after knowing each other only for a few hours was just...I'm sorry, I couldn't. My husband tried proposing to me when we hadn't even officially met face-to-face yet (we met online and skyped for 2 years before actually meeting each other in person) and I knew that was a bad idea and we broke up after living together for a few months. It all obviously worked out but I'm still with Elsa on this one.

Anna, also, reminded me of myself too. There's times where I get really excited like Anna, I get awkward, and I talk a lot. I've actually detto some things Anna detto before I even saw the movie. It's gotten to a point that, again, like Anna, I get called annoying for how I act.

Now I'm going to talk about the movie itself.

First off, I loved Elsa and Anna's relationship. Their relationship at the beginning of the movie, not the whole movie in general since they were seperated for most of it. I'm glad that in the Frozen shorts we get to see the sisters together più and I can't wait to see più of them together in the sequel.

The animazione for the snow and ice is probably my preferito thing in this whole movie. I Amore snow so seeing it animated so beautifully in Film like this and Rise of the Guardians always makes me so happy. I know it will never happen but if Disney ever built Elsa's ice palace in one of their parks I would give up all my money for plane and park tickets. (okay maybe not go that far but that's how much I Amore her ice palace)

Kristoff may not be my preferito hero but his scenes with Svens always make me laugh. I'm also one of those people who has "conversations" with my pets like Kristoff and Sven do.

I don't like the whole soundtrack (Frozen cuore and Reindeers are Better Than People are almost forgettable to me and I'll listen to In Summer and Fixer Upper occasionally) but the ones Anna and Elsa sang were always my favorites. Any time I watched the Film in the past I got più excited to watch their musical numbers than anything else in the movie.

Even though he's like Disney's version of Minions, I can't not Amore Olaf. Every time I see that little guy I want to give him a warm hug. I even have a cardboard cutout of him that I got after Frozen came out on dvd. And I want an Olaf waffle maker sooooo bad. I wish I liked his song più but it just feels meh compared to Let it Go and First Time in Forever. Though my preferito lyrics will forever be
Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle
But put me in summer and I'll be a-....HAPPY SNOWMAN!

I still spend the movie looking at Hans for subtle hints of his true character and while I like that the writers of this movie put in these hints I wish they didn't make them so easy to miss. Before watching this movie again today the only memorable hints I could think of were just him gesturing the kingdom when he was talking about "finding his own place" and then later looking up at the chandelier before having one of the Duke's men shoot an Arrow at it and having it almost crush Elsa. Everything else I have to look up on IMDB's trivia page for this movie. Maybe if that jerk user hadn't spoiled the twist before the movie came out maybe I would have actually been surprised o maybe liked the twist more. I still liked the line, "If only there was someone out there who loved you." That still feels like a stab to the cuore every time I watch it.

I did like that to save Anna it had to be an Act of True Amore instead of True Love's Kiss. It was a nice change, especially for a movie that was supposed to be about sister love. I'm not sure it was really earned in this movie though since we don't see a lot of positive interactions between Elsa and Anna before the climax of the movie.

I think Kristoff and Anna are a cute couple and I like them a lot più than Tiana and Naveen as a couple. I even Amore their short scenes together in the shorts, especially his, "I Amore you, baby!" I can't wait to see più of them together in the sequel.

Princess and Queen:
As I mentioned before I Amore Anna and Elsa. I used to Amore Elsa più than Anna but now I Amore them equally. Elsa is 5 on my lista but I'm keeping her there, but Anna is going to be moving from 8 to 6.

Movie:
I hate to say this but I actually felt...bored. I used to Amore watching this movie when it first came out but this time, for some reason, I didn't have fun watching it anymore. I just ended up having this movie on for background noise until the climax came up then I was interested again. Maybe it's because I've gotten to a point in life where I just take Film too seriously instead of sitting down an enjoying them. I'm hoping that the sequel will do what this movie should have done and make it actually about the sisters and actually explain Elsa's powers. This movie is 8 on my lista but I'm going to keep it there.

Rating: 6/10

Would I watch it again?
Yes, maybe with my sisters o nieces and nephews.

successivo movie will be both the Frozen shorts!
Dungeons & Draghi (or D&D for short) is a super fun tavolo, ripiano del tavolo roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend te give it a try if te ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my preferito hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

carlotta, charlotte
Charlotte
carlotta, charlotte La Bouff was one of many characters in the movie The Princess and the Frog. carlotta, charlotte was as wonderful as Tiana, and she really deserves to be analyzed.

Characteristics

Unlike Tiana, carlotta, charlotte was a slightly spoiled and funny girl, crazy. carlotta, charlotte was very romantic, which I usually don't like, but the crazy and confident gestures she displayed during the romance were enough to cover it up. Charlotte's father, Mr. La Bouff, spoiled her and did whatever she wanted because they were rich. carlotta, charlotte grew up believing in fairy tales and true love, and she was confident that one giorno love...

I wrote this articolo years fa for the first ten princesses but now with Beyonce's recente contribution to the Disney family in the 2019 Lion King, I figured it was a good time as any to do an updated lista with the twelve current official princesses. I decided to add Esmeralda, Megara, Anna, and Elsa too! We just take a look through the Queen Bee's singles and see which one fits each princess based on the title, lyrics, Musica video and general feel of the song.

Do te know what's funny? Even though she's all about female empowerment and women being independent, Beyonce's just like virtually every...

Hello all! Many apologies for running a bit behind on this one. The holidays are always chaos incarnate.

Cinderella was our Princess of the mese for December, and here is a collection of thoughts on why we adore her. Many thanks to those who inviato comments!

I absolutely Amore when Cindy's snarky side peeks through, like when she makes a quip about the "music lesson". It's adorable but also rounds out her character. <3 ~MaidofOrleans

She teaches me to DREAM BIG!!! ~deedragongirl

She is kind, hard-working, and a princess from my childhood that I still Amore today. ~LMH5113

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong o effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fuoco is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking inoltrare, avanti to watching this a little più than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cenerentola I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking inoltrare, avanti to watching this one.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the articolo for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made commenti about how I don't like this movie because it's been detto that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also detto I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now te should all know what I write about in these articoli so I'll just go ahead and start!

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as te can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field giorno with it. Personally, the più research I did on the situation around this film, the più I was actually fascinated da it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot più nuanced than te think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, te can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending o critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...
