Ok, I gave my warning. This articolo is about Merida's biggest mistakes. And about why I hate Merida. Yes, no one is perfect, but these mistakes should not be too conspicuous. For example, one of my preferito princesses, Elsa, was also flawed. However, Merida made a huge mistake, and I'm going to explain it today.
Merida's biggest blunder was definitely when she destroyed her mother's life for her freedom. The cake Merida gave her mother had turned her into a bear. YES, NOW I ASK YOU, WHO DOES EVIL TO HIS MOTHER FOR THEIR FREEDOM? Merida. Of course, Merida thought the cake was just changing her mother's mind. Still, even Merida mistreating her mother is a crime.
Early in the movie, her mother was trembling over Merida, caring deeply and wishing her well. The stupid princess Merida was paying for her mother's favor da breaking her heart.
Besides, Merida wasn't a hero. Merida was only correcting her own mistake.
Ok, now that I'm done with the flaws, I'll touch on a different topic. Yes, this may have nothing to do with loving Merida, but beauty makes up 10 percent of the way princesses are loved. To me, as I mentioned in my beauty article, Merida's face and eyes are extremely round. If she was a princess with an oval face, she would probably be beautiful. Now, look at the picture I attached. Do te understand the difference between the original Merida and the oval-faced Merida?

This revisionist fairytale, while less inspired than average Pixar fare, boasts typical awe-inspiring animazione and flare. The contemporary story of mother-daughter bonding is a step in a new direction, but the main problem is the convoluted execution and the fact that Merida craves adventure but is stuck in a mother-daughter psychodrama.
"I've only seen it once so I don't have too much to say about this one. What I remembered about it is that I loved Merida and really felt connected to her and her mom's relationship. I was invested in their story and wanted it to work out well...
